Macchia Salentina in Marina di Mancaversa

Our wonderful experience in this Salento countryside, rich in culture, history, and so much kindness and hospitality, ended today.
Nunzia and Luigi were two hospitable and engaging people, always accommodating our every request. We were pampered from the first to the last day. Everything was impeccable: from the breakfast biscuits to the pasticciotti, to the evenings spent roasting, to the sweet kittens who were a constant companion on this wonderful holiday, the pine forest with truly unique children's games, the roosters who greeted us, the breakfasts and dinners in the open air, the spotless pool with those palm and olive trees that soothe the mind, and Mr. Luigi who offered us authentic limoncello every evening... we will miss you and will definitely be back. I recommend this place to anyone who reads this review.
Thanks again, and we wanted to point out that our daughter was very sad on the morning of our departure. Even though there were arrivals and we had to vacate the room, Mrs. Nunzia allowed us to stay beyond the scheduled time and invited us to stay as long as we wanted in the outdoor areas (pine forest, pool, etc.). This hospitality is easy to find in the south, but not always a given. We are from Puglia, and by choice, we travel almost always in our native Puglia for this very reason! Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Wonderful weekend at the B&B Macchia Salentina! I stayed with my cousin and we had a wonderful time! The property is welcoming, peaceful, and perfect for relaxing. We even had a barbecue, which made everything even more special. The lady who runs the B&B is truly fantastic: super helpful, kind, and made us feel immediately at home, as if we were in our own home. This is what I appreciated most: you don't feel like a simple guest, but part of a family atmosphere. Highly recommended for those seeking tranquility, a warm welcome, and the typical warmth of Salento. ❤️

We stayed at La Macchia Salentina during a short summer vacation in August. The property is ideally located for reaching both Salento's most popular beaches and its lesser-known ones. Lecce and Gallipoli are also within easy reach. The property offers convenient parking and a swimming pool, which we greatly appreciated, given the August heat. Children can enjoy the garden, where there are handmade wooden toys. The rooms are very clean and equipped with kitchenettes. The owners, Nunzia and Luigi, spoiled us with homemade local sweets, prickly pears, and fresh eggs.
Highly recommended for a vacation in Salento!

We've stayed for six nights in the studio. Wonderful ambiance and large property. The host, Nunzia is so sweet and thoughtful. Great service and lots of freedom and cozy peaceful places on the property. Lovely pool, wonderful breakfast with homegrown fruit and local specialties. It had been a real joy to stay at this B&B.

The place is enchanting, the apartments are well organized, lots of green space available for children and adults to relax in, large play areas for the little ones, a very nice swimming pool surrounded by tall palm trees. Homemade breakfast with typical local products. Strategic place to reach the various locations of the lower Salento.

If I could I would give 10 stars, all magnificent, structure surrounded by nature and silence but 5 minutes from the connections for the most beautiful destinations in Salento. The swimming pool, the park, the games, the breakfast every morning (abundant and varied), all perfect, and then ... the added value of the courtesy and helpfulness of Nunzia and her husband, attentive to our every need without being intrusive. What can I say, one of the holiday homes that I will most regret returning home ....

A perfect quiet and relaxing place close to the sea. Wonderful for children with a playground under the pine trees and some farm animals. We could use the barbecue for fish&shrimps from the market!
The owner is really dedicated to this place and it gives a welcoming family atmosphere. Thank you very much Nuzia.
