An Absolute Gem in the Heart of Monopoli – Unbeatable Location and Views!
Our stay at Vista Cattedrale was nothing short of perfection! Located right in the absolute heart of the centro storico, this house offers the ultimate local experience in Monopoli.
The location is incredibly convenient:

Right around the corner is the wonderful Café Roma, where we started every morning with delicious coffee and treated ourselves to their amazing gelato later in the day. As a delightful bonus, you can often admire beautiful Ducati motorcycles parked right outside the café, which adds a fantastic, authentic Italian vibe to the whole experience!

Just 100 meters away, you have everything you need for fresh, local ingredients: two fantastic fruit and vegetable shops, a bakery, and a traditional shop stocked with incredible cheeses and cured meats.

The public beach is an easy, scenic 8-minute walk from the front door. As a wonderful bonus, you'll find a great beach umbrella stored in the wardrobe on the terrace, which allows you to stay and relax as long as you want on the beautiful beaches of Puglia!

Food lovers take note - only 300 meters away is Calamari & Liquori, which serves hands-down the best grilled octopus sandwich in Monopoli. It is an absolute must-try!

The absolute highlight of the house, however, is the breathtaking rooftop terrace. The view of the Cathedral is stunning. We were lucky enough to enjoy a concert being organized in the piazza below right from the terrace—the acoustics up there are phenomenal and made for an unforgettable evening.

Inside, the house is extremely comfortable, featuring a brand-new, perfectly functioning air conditioning system that kept the place wonderfully cool after a long day in the sun.

We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Highly recommended, and we will definitely be back!

Our stay at Vista Cattedrale in Monopoli was an absolutely unforgettable experience! The apartment is unique, spread across 4 floors, and features two incredible terraces with breathtaking views of the cathedral. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and equipped with everything we needed, including a coffee machine and AC. Every detail, from the modern bathroom to the high quality finishes, screams luxury. It was a true pleasure to stay here, and I’m already planning my next visit. Highly recommended!

I was sutisfacted about this visit. There was the important icon of the Virgin Mather. There was the opurtinity to pry at the capella. Cathedral was full with the sense of the peace. There was the opurtinity go down to relicviary at bacment.

An amazing place to stay!
The apartment was very clean as it was cleaned every day. They also changed the towels every day.
The apartment has 2 rooms, a small kitchen and a terrace. The first one is situated at the 1st floor and has 1 small toilet, small balcony, it has a sofa which can be extended into a bed. For the second one, you have to cross the first room and climb some stairs as it is situated at the 2nd floor. This is the main bedroom and has a huge bed, some storage closet. Here is the big bathroom and it has a shower (the shower is made of glass and you can see if someone is inside from the bed). To get to the kitchen you have to climb some other stairs as it is at the 3rd floor. Here we had a coffee machine, some teas and a heating pot. It was very well equipped as it has lots of tools to cook, including plates and a small fridge. From the kitchen you can go to the terrace where you have a nice view over Monopoli or you can lay out in the sun because there are some sun beds here.
We were provided with small bottles upon arrival and also every day we received new ones.
The apartment has its own heating system.
The owner is very kind and provided us with al the needed information about Monopoly and not only.
The apartment is located near the center at 5 minutes or so.
We were offered some breakfasts at Caffe Roma which is 1 minute away. Here you ca take a coffee and something to eat, like a croissant or something sweet (like pasticciato, it is a traditional pastry from the area).
I highly recommend Vista Cattedrale.
Also, the owner is very helpful and eager to make your stay as pleasant as possible.
