A really beautiful place with the best staff!

Amazing palazzo in tiny village a truly wonderful architecture. Don’t expect being waited on hand & foot - more of a laissez faire atmosphere with pizza nights. Pool a bit small, but a great restaurant for dinner - well worthwhile.

Don’t miss the fabulous breakfast and the very good restaurant for lunch or dinner. There is a spa on a terrace and different places in the garden where you can relax or read. We had such a wonderful stay here for 5 days. The hotel is perfectly located just between the sea and the old town with only a 5 minute waking distance. The room with the big terazzo overlooking the sea was beautiful. Comfortable beds, excellent cleaning and great breakfast. The staff was so friendly and helpful and really made us feel at home. Staff checked us in and assisted us later all very helpful nothing to much trouble, I’ve seen people say about the parking but I didn’t see any issue you can pull up outside the front doors then park but the carpark is very close from the front of the hotel anyway about 30 steps. Room is nice, views incredible and in October 29 degrees but with a nice cooling breeze loving it.

In the morning room key and gate key were delivered To leave the structure we were in line with other cars for a quarter of an hour, because the reception lady (absurd) had gone to get a coffee! We arrived on a rainy Sunday evening after a tiring hike. Sonia's welcome was a burst of energy! Our top floor room was quirky with a wonderful roof terrace area we would loved to have made use of in better weather. We drank a beer in the small bar and ate in the hotel restaurant - La Cantina (separate review). Breakfast was generous. You could not ask for better hosts than Sonia and Emmanuel.

The hotel restaurant La Cantena has an authentic rustic charm serving superb food and local wines at reasonable prices.
