A wonderful place to stay , beautiful rooms a lovely garden and pool . In a village with restaurants to walk to and a short distance to the sea by car or bike or walking if you are energetic! . The staff are so helpful and will arrange pasta making , vineyard trips and boat trips if you wish . There are bikes to borrow to cycle the country roads . The breakfasts are delicious full of home made cakes...

Very relaxing Friendly staff - reception, breakfast and room prep staff Quality Room and bathroom Beautiful garden just for guests Good facilities: pool, steam room, garden seating and more

What a lovely stay in beautiful surrounding first class place and all the staff weren wonderful- hope to return at some point 🥰

We stayed in a spacious suite called Fante, located in the courtyard of the property. The suite consisted of a sitting room, a separate bedroom, and a large bathroom with a toilet, shower, and jacuzzi. The mattress was quite firm – ideal for some – but if you prefer a softer bed, it’s best to ask for an extra topper. There was also a wardrobe, minibar, and good Wi-Fi. A definite highlight was the private...

Best place ever in the area , staff and relaxed atmosphere top level . Close to Castro for bath and restaurants . We can really recommend this place and area.

A wonderful place, we returned ten years after our first visit on honeymoon and it has got even better. The hotel sits in a typical southern village behind a large wooden door which opens up to beautiful gardens. Our room Ria was spacious with a lovely sitting area to the front. Breakfast is an informal but tasty buffet with a mix of foods including amazing homemade cakes. We tried the pasta making...

B&B DonnaLina

🌞 From seashore 1.7 km

I stayed at this B&B for just one night for work, and I already want to go back! Quiet, with spacious rooms and all the comforts, a pool downstairs, and a patio for breakfast and dinner that makes you feel like you're on vacation. Very close to the sea, it's a great base for excursions in Salento. Thanks to Rocco and Annalisa for their warm welcome.

It was a wonderful experience! Rocco is the best host I have ever seen. Unbelievable kindness. Great recommendations and it's a great advantage to stay here because everyone knows Rocco and you are received extraodinarily everywhere you say you are staying with him. it is all modernized. it looks much better now than in the pictures on Tripadvisor.

Great hotel. My stay at this hotel was really good! The service, accommodations, and overall experience were truly exceptional. I can't wait to go back!

I am very glad that I chose this place, the rooms are very comfortable, clean, the staff is very polite and always helpful, the hotel grounds are very beautiful, there are many plants, there is also a swimming pool. I recommend!!

What a great establishment. I could have literally stayed forever here. The staff is just amazing and the breakfast is also great. The restaurant has beautiful food as well. Cannot recommend it enough. Grazie

More than Top! Location: 10/10 Vignacastrisi is the perfect compromise between the best known Salento and the one to discover; inserted between a series of beautiful villages it is 5/20 minutes from the most beautiful sea of Salento (Porto Miggiano, Castro Marina, the green grotto, Porto Badisco, Tricase Porto etc. etc.) and from fascinating villages. The BnB di Rocco is beautiful, built with passion...

The most friendly hosts! Breakfast was fantastic, she even provided a plastic bag so you could bring some to the beach. I would highly recommend starting here. Grazie mille!

I am feeling very lucky to stay this place :) everything was great.

Great hospitality, highly recommended! Maria is so welcoming person. She asks which type of croissants we like before the our arrival time and prepared best breakfast! Cheeses, salamis, fruits, many kind of bakery’s, eggs, etc.. she left a plactic bag for us, to prepare sandwiches for all day. extremely clean rooms, perfect location. Highly recommend for everyone!!

Exceptional welcome from Mrs. Maria! We had a very large room equipped with all comforts, amazing breakfast. I absolutely recommend it

Wonderful stay! My husband and I stayed here during a cycling holiday around Puglia. The B&B was beautiful, comfortable, clean and well equipped. We stayed for x1 night and were so impressed by the coupe who managed the hotel, they could not have been more helpful or attentive Central location in a great location, clean and tidy 👍

Fantastic service, great breakfasts and beautiful views.

We had such a wonderful stay here for 5 days. The hotel is perfectly located just between the sea and the old town with only a 5 minute waking distance. The room with the big terazzo overlooking the sea was beautiful. Comfortable beds, excellent cleaning and great breakfast. The staff was so friendly and helpful and really made us feel at home. Thank you!

Amazing hotel with super friendly staff/owners who always greeted us with a smile and good advice on where to spend our days in the Castro area. Clean and comfortable rooms with AC and an amazing terrace. Great parking spaces.

Very helpful hotelier. Great location with a short walk downhill into Castro where there are nice bars & restaurants.

Great staff and breakfast, amazing view and good location. From the beginning of our one week stay to the end everyone was polite and helpful. Special and huge appreciation for the breakfast guy, he was really friendly and gentle. You should really consider this place for long stays.

We really loved this hotel - amazing value for money, very cute and super friendly!

Staff checked us in and assisted us later all very helpful nothing to much trouble, I’ve seen people say about the parking but I didn’t see any issue you can pull up outside the front doors then park but the carpark is very close from the front of the hotel anyway about 30 steps. Room is nice, views incredible and in October 29 degrees but with a nice cooling breeze loving it.

We loved the hospitality and courtesy. Location is great. Quality price ratio is optimal. The owner allowed us to leave our luggage after the checkout, so thatbwe could enjoy the day.

Very central hotel, in an excellent location and a stone's throw (literally) from the square and the sea. Parking not nearby (5-600 m uphill and on the road close to the town) but spacious and free, and this justifies the small inconvenience. There is a restaurant (not tried) and the breakfast is not very abundant but all in all good. Spacious and very comfortable rooms but those close to the road...

Restaurant. Wandering around Castro Marina all the restaurants were full (10pm) except this one. We sat down immediately and were served with professionalism and courtesy. The appetizer was the typical Salento dish but compared to others tasted it was qualitatively inferior. The mussels and the strong ricotta orecchiette were good. The other first was instead bland and tasted very little (based on...

Me and my partner were staying in Puglia for a week from the 19th of September, staying one night near Polignano a Mare, 3 nights in Ostuni, and 3 nights here in Castro - we were most excited about this hotel as our friend recommended it to us. Starting off positively, the hotel grounds were beautiful and the location idyllic. The staff were all so lovely, kind, and personable. We were left a little...

We were recommended this hotel by some friends — and they were absolutely right! This place is truly special: an oasis of peace and comfort, perfect for relaxing and disconnecting. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed. The service was outstanding, with kind and attentive staff who made us feel at home every day. The atmosphere, the food, the little details — everything contributed...

We had the pleasure to stay here in September 2024 and it was stunning! The views are expansive and absolutely beautiful. An excellent hotel and restaurant. Sonia and Emanuele were very generous, friendly and welcoming. The room was large and extremely comfortable. La Cantina was a lovely atmospheric space with excellent service and food.

We arrived on a rainy Sunday evening after a tiring hike. Sonia's welcome was a burst of energy! Our top floor room was quirky with a wonderful roof terrace area we would loved to have made use of in better weather. We drank a beer in the small bar and ate in the hotel restaurant - La Cantina (separate review). Breakfast was generous. You could not ask for better hosts than Sonia and Emmanuel.

What a little gem of a hotel. Lovely characterful rooms. Very welcoming owners . The hotel restaurant La Cantena has an authentic rustic charm serving superb food and local wines at reasonable prices. The grilled vegetables in local olive oil and the seafood starter were fantastic. Breakfast can be taken in the light and airy courtyard .

Amazing place to stay in beautifully renovated palace with very well appointed rooms and delicious cosy restaurant. I had a little accident whilst there and Emmanuel was so concerned and kind and took me first to the doctor and then accident and emergency at 9pm on a Friday. Once all was well he collected us at 2am. Super special place

Amazing building with very friendly and helpful hosts, Sonja & Emanuele. Our room was incredible and breakfast was delicious. Great picnic too for our day’s walking. I left a pair of earrings and Emanuele brought them to Otranto for me, exceptional service!

Simple campsite, with good shade, the guy at the reception is kind. A bit far from the sea but by bike it's two pedals. We were the last week of June, very good prices. All the services. Recommended.

It was the first time we went to Puglia, a wonderful experience. The hotel is in front of the sea, the view is wonderful. Enrico and Anna-Maria are the consummate hosts who made us feel most welcome in their charming palazzo. The food was absolutely delectable—all homemade with fresh, quality ingredients in gourmet fashion. Thank you for an absolutely wonderful stay!!

Everything. The Palazzo is tucked away in the quiet and quaint town of Muro Leccese, but easily accessible by car and close to many of the beautiful towns and beaches nearby. From the moment you walk in you’re welcomed by the lovely Henry and Anna Maria who will make you feel at home for your entire stay. The rooms (and indeed the entire Palazzo) are spacious and comfortable - plus we had a private...

Masseria Panareo

Apulia, Otranto, Litor. Otranto - Santa Cesarea Terme 🧭

🌞 From seashore 1.6 km

The Masseria itself is absolutely beautiful — peaceful surroundings, lovely architecture, and a charming ambiance that really captures the spirit of Puglia. The staff were polite and professional, though not particularly warm or personal. Dinner was okay — the atmosphere was great, but the food didn’t quite live up to expectations given the setting. We stayed at Masseria Panareo for 5 nights in August in a junior suite and our son in a comfort double. Both rooms were lovely, very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the pool with poolbar very much. All of the staff is very friendly and extremely helpful. The food at breakfast and dinner was TOP, excellent service ! The views from our suite, the terrace and the swimmingpool are stunning. We...

A peaceful haven with wonderful views Staff were amazing (thank you) Highly recommend for a relaxing visit in beautiful surroundings and good food and wine. Our room was quiet with a good bed and well appointed, cleaned every day. You do need a car to explore locally or simply stay a few days and enjoy all the hotel has to offer.

Stayed here as part of our Inn Travel cycle holiday. The rooms were lovely, with a private outdoor seating area. Enjoyed drinks on the terrace, watching the sheep and goats being herded. Food was very good. Staff friendly and efficient. Thank you for a terrific stay.

Extremely peaceful and welcoming place, in the countryside of Otranto. Very comfortable room with all the necessary amenities. The restaurant is stunning with very attentive and friendly service from Deni, Danielle and Prabh. The highlight was the grilled fish of the day accompanied by delicious white wine from Puglia! The internet leaves something to be desired, but I was able to watch videos on YouTube...

The most beautiful place I have ever stayed- relaxing on the terrace overlooking rolling olive groves to the sea. Swimming pool (we were the only ones there) friendly high quality service. Rooms were styled as an old country farmhouse. Porta Badisco nearby worth a visit
