We loved the hospitality and courtesy. Location is great. Quality price ratio is optimal. The owner allowed us to leave our luggage after the checkout, so thatbwe could enjoy the day.

Great location in Castro

Very central hotel, in an excellent location and a stone's throw (literally) from the square and the sea.
Parking not nearby (5-600 m uphill and on the road close to the town) but spacious and free, and this justifies the small inconvenience.
There is a restaurant (not tried) and the breakfast is not very abundant but all in all good.
Spacious and very comfortable rooms but those close to the road are unfortunately a bit noisy.
The terrace on the second floor is a pearl.
One "bonus" star, overall very recommended.

Restaurant.
Wandering around Castro Marina all the restaurants were full (10pm) except this one. We sat down immediately and were served with professionalism and courtesy. The appetizer was the typical Salento dish but compared to others tasted it was qualitatively inferior. The mussels and the strong ricotta orecchiette were good. The other first was instead bland and tasted very little (based on seafood).
The bill is in line with the prices of the area, but not with respect to the quality of what is eaten.

This just an expensive and bad restaurant. Can't say anything about the hotel as a hotel. But the restaurant is just bad. There was nearly no service at all. Ordered drinks where put in the closed can on the table, the wrong meal was served (could happen), but we had to pay for this more because my partner don't want to produce more cost for then kept her wrong meal. The steak I got was just a joke. Maybe 50g. Pizza was OK.
