There are not enough superlatives for this gem. From the location to the room but most of all the kindness and helpfulness of all the staff. Everything is quality. Borgo san Gaetano is an old olive making building that has been lovingly converted into a wonderful bed and breakfast. Our room was tastefully furnished with everything you need for your stay. Breakfast was typically Italian and plentiful. I would recommend it to anyone considering staying the the are

We had a very good experience there. It is a very cozy small hotel with very friendly people that makes you feel like at home. We loved it!

We found Borgo San Gaetano by accident whilst looking for somewhere to have an a aperitivo before dinner in Bernalda. The Borgo is down a charming little lane decorated with overhang crocheted sun shades that connect its charming hotel rooms. We sat on wooden tables in the cul-de-sac and ordered our drinks which were accompanied by little dishes of dry salted fava typical of the region. As we sat the very friendly staff produced more and more little dishes until we decided to drop our dinner booking and order a bottle of wine and relax here. Dishes ranged from a plate of local cured sausage and soft cheese to bruschetta with local chicory and baked cheese, ending with two delicious biscuits from the local bakery. The staff couldn't have been kinder; I use a wheelchair and so they advised me on where to go in the region where accessibility is possible. It was a lovely evening.

Borgo San Gaetano is a wonderful find - friendly, welcoming, beautifully-furnished and elegant. A perfect place to stay, with super-comfortable and interesting rooms, a charming garden, easy parking, and top quality breakfast. Bernalda is a delightful authentic little town, and we ate the most spectacular, delicious dinner on Gian-Luigi's recommendation: our best meal in Italy! We can't recommend this place too highly - do go: it is a delight.

We had a wonderful stay. The room was spacious. The breakfast was delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel property was carefully taken care of, with a lot of heart. I wish all hotels are like this! Highly recommend anyone to stay here. It’s also conveniently located near restaurants and bars.

What an incredible stay! The space was fantastic for a couple. The shower was huge compared to the other showers we had experienced throughout Italy. Comfy bath robes were provided along with exceptional skin product samplers. Breakfast had an amazingly wide selection of delicious fresh fruit, veggies, pastries and exceptional coffee! The grounds included a charming garden area and entryway. We can't say enough about their incredible staff. Mimma and the girls were there for any request or question we had. Thanks to them, we discovered another family connection with Bernalda! This was a very special adventure for us...one we hadn't anticipated and one we will never forget! We will be back!

Indeed, everything was perfect. We stayed in a junior suite, which was clean, lovely, and well-appointed with a living area and a very comfortable bed. The layout of the establishment was unique and very pretty, as each room has a private entrance into a pretty courtyard. Gian, Noemi, and all their staff were all friendly, and kind. We highly recommend.

Beautiful hotel in Bernalda Italy. We loved our stay at this property. The staff is excellent and the rooms are big with very comfortable beds. It is conveniently located near many restaurants and stores in the lively commune of Bernalda. The property is very charming with a beautiful courtyard where you can have delicious breakfast and aperativi. We would definitely stay at this property on our next visit to this beautiful area.

We absolutely loved it here! Rooms are cozy, gardens are relaxing, and everything is super clean. The bedding and towels are plush and soft. The location is great one block from the Main Street with bars, restaurants and shops. The continental breakfast is served in a beautiful building. And the host brings you your drinks and food. Mimma is sweet, friendly and helpful. We will stay here every time we visit the area.
