Hotel Rex in Praia a Mare

Thank you so much, it was a wonderful holiday, everyone was very kind and professional, the rooms were spotless... we will definitely be back... a big hug to all the staff and especially to Biagio, a super cheerful guy.

This is the third time we've chosen this hotel for our vacation; excellent location, clean rooms, good and plentiful food, and Imma and Angelo are always available to accommodate any requests. A special thanks goes to Rosita and Biagio, with whom we immediately established a special bond. We'll definitely be back.

A very simply furnished hotel with a lovely terrace and solarium for relaxing during the day. Behind the restaurant is a lovely little garden with sofas and a swing.
Simple, tasty dishes served by the courtesy and helpfulness of Rosita and Biagio, and Arianna for breakfast. The room was spotless, thanks to Filomena. Imma and Angelo welcomed us with their politeness, courtesy, and kindness... we felt truly at ease. They accommodated our every request, especially since they have a 10-month-old baby girl whom they pampered with great care! Thanks also to the night porter and kitchen staff! Highly recommended! ! We have been coming to this hotel for 9 years now and we really feel like family! Angelo and Imma are wonderful people, always smiling and helpful as is Arianna who you can meet at breakfast, my children love them.
The hotel is located a few steps from a beautiful sea but in the center of the town, ideal for walking at any time of the day.
The hotel in general and the rooms are really spotless and always fragrant.
There is a beautiful terrace/solarium overlooking the main street of the town and also a small, well-kept garden.
The food is excellent: at breakfast there is a bit of everything from sweet to savory and the strong point are the homemade cakes and biscuits. At lunch and dinner there is always a choice between meat and fish menus (very fresh) and everything is cooked very well; The desserts are also excellent and the fruit is fantastic. Furthermore, there is always a children's menu and culinary themed evenings.
The hotel also provides free bicycles and offers the SKY service.
A few km away you can visit the Cristo di Maratea, the Arcomagno beach in San Nicola Arcella, Diamante and I also recommend a boat excursion to the Island of Dino and its caves; furthermore in Praia a Mare you can visit the beautiful and evocative sanctuary of the Madonna della Grotta.
For us, our children and the super grandmother who comes with us, it is now a fixed stop and a real guarantee of spending a wonderful holiday.

We stayed in the hotel for 5 days, staying with disabled people, we were welcomed and listened to for all our requests by Mr. Angelo who always made himself available for any information that could make our stay pleasant and comfortable. I also underline the professionalism of all the staff, from the reception staff to the bar to the lounge and rooms who are always smiling and available.
The hotel is located in a place easily accessible by train, near the sea and the main promenade of the town
The serene climate of the hotel allowed everyone to spend moments of serenity and enjoy careful cuisine with a choice of sweet and savory for breakfast and meat and fish during meals.
The possibility of free use of the bikes in addition to the garden and terrace spaces was appreciated

Very nice and clean hotel, Angelo's management puts you at ease, the staff is always helpful and courteous. The quality of the food is excellent and plentiful. I recommend it to those who want to have a holiday without worries and above all without a car. It's very central. A hug to all the collaborators of this hotel.

We stayed in this hotel for a week in June for our family holidays and we can only recommend this property, not only for its strategic position (it is in fact located a few steps from the sea, the center and the train station) but also for the courtesy of Angelo and Imma... always available for every request!
The rooms are clean, the breakfast is plentiful, the cuisine is excellent both for us adults and for the little ones (there is the possibility to choose between several menus for both lunch and dinner and there is also a menu dedicated to children ), all the staff are very kind and even the partner beach is well equipped!
We also really enjoyed the Calabrian themed evening with the entertainment team that kept us company in the solarium and made us have a lot of fun!
We will happily return in the future!
P.s. Our two-year-old son was welcomed in an affectionate way and he was also happy with the colored bracelets they gave him at reception (a little gift that we took home as a reminder of this magnificent relaxing stay at the Rex hotel)

I'm giving this five star for the kindness of the receptionist I just spoke to for 5, 15 minutes. So much better than other hotels in Praja.
