A little bit difficult to communicate with the staff even though we speak Spanish and English! It is a very Italian resort. There was nice personnel who wanted to help but sometimes we thought some of them were tired to service and tourists in general. The resort is aimed at families with young children. Thus the restaurant menu is child focused and its super busy. The room was not sound proof as stated Enjoyed the pool with hundreds of others.

Nice hotel, friendly staff, lots of families with kids, great activities during the day, a sandy beach. Though the music was too loud till late at night. This is really a shame, especially if you come with kids.

We stayed here as a couple for a 3 night stay . The hotel is absolutely spotless clean ! Rooms are cleaned everyday and fresh towels . Beds are quite hard though ! Pillows also. . Great luxurious hotel, lots of space inside an on the beach so it is not crowded at all even in July. Located inside a high end gated community with a private marina. Access to the beach is also limited and the beach is vast. The pool area is small and not recommended as it is no wind there so it gets very hot. Just take a free golf cart ride to the beach.

Excellent location (we were 5, including three boys). Strategic for visiting Matera on foot, leaving the car in the courtyard. Mimmo was very kind in welcoming and advising us. This was an amazing place to stay in the heart of the Sassi. The breakfast was very nice with many options and the dinner we had there was equally good. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The shower was the nicest we had on our two week trip. Appreciated a safe available in the room.

We opted for the cave room! The room is very well appointed. It features a French window and small windows in the bathroom. The pool is amazing. We had a car, which we parked without any issues via Lucana.

Steer clear of the smallest room type – it has no windows and was quite musty. Upgrading to a suite, however, was a complete game-changer! The service was exceptional; they catered to our every need. The hotel's location is unbeatable.

This is probably the best hotel in Matera. Located right next to the cathedral, the square in front of the hotel offers panoramic views of Matera's Old Town. The hotel is a converted protected building, with elegant design, spacious rooms, and beautiful scenery. The hotel's restaurant, Le Bubbole, is also excellent and deserves a five-star recommendation.

This was our second time staying at this hotel. We specifically came to Mateta for one night from the Salerno area to enjoy the spa and dinner. As always it did not disappoint! Hotel Palazzo Gattini was an amazing experience. My wife, son, and I spent four days at the hotel and had a phenomenal stay from the very beginning. We were picked up directly from the parking lot, and upon arrival we were warmly greeted by Carmen, whose hospitality immediately made us feel welcome. I am writing this from the bed in our room. I would say this is probably one of the best hotels in Matera. The view from the rooftop terrace is spectacular. The spa is spectacular. A perfect couples retreat. The breakfast was perfect. The staff is very kind and they speak English when needed which is a huge plus! Thank you for a lovely stay.

Its a little gem this place if you want great service, good food , quiet relaxing place. We stayed here twice now and we love it everything. Of course you need car to find this place , beaches not far to walk and few to drive and was free. The Hotel Murman is a hidden gem. The property has excellent views and good jumping point for Maratea. The staff was friendly and helpful. The property itself is well appointed with beautiful artwork and nice swimming pool. We had a lovely ocean view balcony. The breakfast is over the top. So good and lots of options. I had dinner here once and coffee a number of times. Dinner was by father the best I had in Bernalda. Atmosphere, decor and music was divine. And outside seating was my favourite in Bernalda for musing and people watching. Hotel is well located a short walking distance from the sassi. Rooms are comfortable but require refreshments. Staff is very friendly and customer oriented. Breakfast is average, many sweet treats, missing good quality bread, olives, cheese etc. No problem with finding free street parking around the hotel.

The property is not properly finished. Although the staff were very helpful & bedrooms were good, it wasn't within walking distance of any restaurants as the surrounding area is undeveloped. However, there were buses into the centre about 7 or 8 minutes walk.

The Stone City lives up to its name, and the cave dwellings offer a rustic charm. Vehicles must be parked in the new town's parking lot, and then a shuttle bus will take you up the mountain.

I've almost forgotten, it should be in Matura, a nice city. The hotel was good except for the price-performance ratio; the bathroom was huge, but the air conditioning was a bit insufficient. The bathroom and room were on different levels, probably due to the terrain.

My flight was delayed and my check-in time was in the middle of the night, but they waited for me. Of course, I had contacted them on the way there to let them know that I would be delayed. They were also very friendly and even carried my luggage for me. Thank you very much.

The hotel is very close to the city center. You can reach everywhere by walking. The hotel is an old hotel and has not been renovated. Despite this, it is clean, tidy and in good condition. It has an authentic structure. Almost everything is wood. The breakfast is sufficient, the staff is friendly and everywhere is clean. Also, the price is reasonable.
