The room was quite nice, and the balcony was absolutely stunning, offering a beautiful view.
The room was also quite spacious and very clean.
The breakfast was delicious and had a wide variety of choices.
The only downside was that you shouldn't bring large suitcases, as it was really inconvenient with stairs everywhere.
However, the view alone made it worthwhile. The booking service was a bit awful; it was non-refundable. I noticed the last day was 500 yuan cheaper, so I wanted to cancel and rebook, but they wouldn't let me.

Perfect little getaway! Especially the swimming pool and the dining area are something special. We loved the town and definitely come back another time!

Matera is absolutely amazing! The hotel is particularly unique; it felt like staying in a fairytale. We parked on the outskirts of the old city, and the hotel staff provided a car to take us around – they were incredibly friendly. Highly recommend the hotel!

Excellent experience overall! The lady at the front desk and the restaurant staff were incredibly polite (though there was an older gentleman at the front desk who seemed a bit cold, always on the phone). The hotel's location is superb and very convenient. We had a truly comfortable and pleasant stay. This really left a great impression of the country on us. Highly recommended!
