Where to stay in Bologna

Very nice cozy hotel. We’ve always stayed at Star Hotel group for last 30 yrs or so. THis time it was full, so wanted to the hotel near the Central station and found this hotel. People were nice, room was a bit far from Front desk and room small and only shower,,,,but, it was good for the money . I would stay there again on may nest trip , end of February,this year. And want to see nice metro street

It's located right next to the train station, making it super convenient for getting around. The breakfast spread was generous, and with Chinese restaurants right next door, finding a place to eat is also very easy. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful.

The location is pretty good and have the bus to the airport which is really convenient for people to catch up with the flight. Also the train station is within the walking distance.

Because of the exhibition, the room was small and the facilities were average, but the breakfast was rich.

On a business trip, it was very close to the exhibition center, only a ten-minute taxi ride away. The hotel breakfast was decent, with a standard variety of items. There was fruit, but not many hot dishes. The yogurt was delicious.

The hotel is a bit dated but clean and well-maintained, with very helpful and friendly staff. Its location just couple of minutes from the fair (by car) saved me some valuable time. Food is good. They gym is super tiny...I slept really well and got all I needed.

Was lovely to stay in a traditional old school Italian decor hotel. Staff were not especially welcoming when compared to other hotels I stayed in on this trip.

The location was very convenient and very close to the city center. The hotel itself was okay, obviously old and there were signs of disrepair throughout including peeling paint, broken cabinet door and old carpet. That said our room was still clean and comfortable if just a little musty, but we could have opened the window to fix that.

Everything was perfect. The service was excellent, the rooms were spacious and very clean. We really appreciated the possibility of an early check-in without any extra cost. Free parking was also a big advantage. Everything went smoothly and without any problems. Highly recommended!

The hotel has some soundproofing issues, and it’s a bit far from the train station and major attractions. Additionally, the nearby streets are under maintenance, making it more difficult to navigate.

This was a surprising find. Only a five-minute walk from the train station and a beautiful setting. There was a spa and a small gym. The room was cozy and a little tight, but had a fridge and pot to make hot water. Bed was comfy and warm. The room, while clean, was a shoebox with the smallest bed I've been in for years! Bathroom also clean but shower was uncomfortably small, floor slippery! One of the receptionists was an unpleasant young woman who reserved her smiles for management and had a completely inappropriate attitude for someone working in customer service!

Location is great and walking distance from the main attractions. However, very low value for money as rooms are expensive and the size of a shoe box. To add to the bad experience, there were upgrading works for the second floor which caused disturbance during the day. I had to pack and unpack to move rooms because I couldn’t rest. There was no notice sent prior to guests about these works.

Hotel is very new reception service guest relations are excellent room is clean and tidy car parking area is vast but just one cons is to you have to take a taxi to go to city centre and it costs 25 euro, buses are not regular I waited half an hour but I failed to catch.

Had a little bit of a weird start with them being overly aggressive asking for an updated form of payment. However it seems it might’ve been a miscommunication. The rooms are amazing, the service was also very good. The breakfast was also good with a pool that was also very nice to use (free of charge for the guests). The only thing I didn't like was the location. If you travel by car it's fine, but anything else is a nightmare, during our stay there were roadworks everywhere and walking to any bus stop was at least a 30 min walk.

We organized our wedding lunch at savoia regency. The restaurant and the staff were wonderful. The location is very nice and the food was very good. They offer different menus. Highly advised if you have allergies or food intollerancies.

The hotel staff were wonderful and welcoming: I paid for the room and breakfast option, but as I was leaving very early the next morning, they left a takeaway breakfast package at reception! The single room was decidedly small and clean, as was the bathroom.
