Where to stay in Bologna

We stayed 3 nights and loved both the location and the place. A leisurely 20-minute walk takes you to the city center. Silvia, the owner, is very kind and helpful, and we finally found a B&B in Bologna that accepts our furry friend Ettore, a Bernese Mountain Dog. It wasn't easy. We have a niece who lives in Bologna, so we go there twice a year, and now we've found our favorite place to stay.

the room was very comfortable & clean. We could sit in the garden which was so shady & cool. The owner was very friendly and helped us & explained about bologna clearly. and also the location near with city center. The two of us were on tour from Indonesia. If we return to Bologna, we will definitely stay here

We were guests for the legendary Vasco Rossi concert in Bologna, and we couldn't have made a better choice. Located just steps from the Dall'Ara Stadium, and a very comfortable walk to the city center. A little oasis of kindness and comfort. The garden in the park is like feeling at home. If you're on the street side of where the traffic is do note it does get loud Great location I didn't have any food in the place because I wasn't going to pay €20 when I could go across the street any cheaper. An interesting place to stay because of the history of the famous guests who once stayed here. Rooms are very large (at least on fourth floor) and have a balcony. Unfortunately, the hotel is quite run down and badly needs modernising throughout. The bathrooms smell from the drains and there is only a hand held shower hose in the bath. Very good Hotel in the very centre of Bologna practically all interesting sights are very close. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are quite spacious and clean. The breakfast was excellent value for money 10 euro which includes large selection of fruits, cereals, eggs and sweets.

The location is close to the train station, and the place is very clean and staffs are helpful. I was accommodated at this hotel for 3 days. The rooms facing the main road are very noisy, the one at the back are ok. If it rains there is leaking water very badly in the rooms in the 2nd floor. Personally I liked it, the room was comfortable, private shower even though it's a bit small you can move the shower doors to make it feel bigger and also the staff was very nice and helpful. When I arrived they hadn't received my reservation yet, but as I showed them the confirmation mail I received, they let me have a room 👍

This is a quaint hotel. We needed to arrive late and hadn't received instructions on how to get in. Fortunately we had a friend with us who speaks Italian. We were eventually able to get into the building, which was next door to the hotel with the sign. The beds were decently comfortable. There is not anything nearby. No other businesses anywhere within walking distance.

Ok, we know Bologna quite well so location wise to us, was good. About 10 minutes from the station. Rooms are good, a tad old and could do with some TLC but clean. There is nothing actually wrong with the hotel as it is clean and quiet and the staff is lovely, but the hotel is on a canal that was dry the entire time we were there, on a graffiti-laden narrow street, and is dark with a dated and tired decor. It was my least favorite of all the hotels we stayed in on our trip. The best part was the Lego town displayed in the basement.

Perfect apartment, calm area and no traffic noise - if you need anything the host will quickly reply, and help with any request. The check in and out was also very flexible and easy. Would definitely recommend this apartment to any future travelers!

The room is large and well-equipped. If you contact the landlord in advance, you can also make the sofa into a bed for an additional 10 euros. After checking out, there is also free luggage storage service, which is very convenient.

This hotel was SO cute. We greatly enjoyed our stay. The front reception representatives were kind and helpful. The shared bathroom thing wasn't a big deal. Our room had 3 beds and a sink. When you leave the room, just around the corner was a shared bathroom, but it's large.

It's about a 20-minute walk from the station. I think the service is OK, but the sound insulation is a bit poor and the key is a bit difficult to use. It's not just a matter of inserting the keyhole into it. It has to be aligned to a certain depth where there will be a latch, and you have to turn it to that depth before it can be used.
