Where to stay in Bologna

Hotel is located in the center of Bologna, very easy to reach from the city center and train station by foot or bike. The room is a little small, which is quite common in Europe, but the quality is decent. Breakfast in okay, not the greatest but also not the worst. Very friendly staff.

Very nice Hotel. Staff were very helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. We were able to check in early after a 22 hour travel day. Staff gave us several options for dinner. A significant amount of restaurants available to pick from. Close to the old city center. Plenty to see and do.

Very clean, friendly people, but the most inconvenient room: no table, no chairs, no drawers to keep clothes, in a tiny shower there is no shelf for shampoo, no hook, no hand shower head. Advise: find another hotel.

Front desk staff were most helpful when we were journeying around the city to view the sites of Bologna. Food, the room, air comfort and the central location was first-rate. If we return to Bologna, we will stay at SanHotel Regina. Great job!

Beautiful hotel just steps from Piazza Maggiore. I travel frequently for work and have stayed in many hotels in central Bologna, and this is among the best value. The bathroom in the room has been renovated and is very comfortable despite being a single. The breakfast is good and varied.

Absolutely ideal location for exploring Bologna. Beautiful hotel, helpful staff and a nice breakfast included. Wifi was stable. Everything was clean. The bed wasn’t too comfortable, but it’s Italy, none of the beds are comfortable. I would seriously consider staying here the next time I go to Bologna.

It's relatively cheap, but non-refundable and non-changeable. It involves sharing a room with multiple people, and the conditions are basic. Consider carefully before booking; you might want to stay one night first and then decide whether you want to continue.

It is central. That's an old hotel so don't expect too much. Parking available means street parking, not private parking, or they tell you to park in a closed parking spot, which you can also find in google.

There was no direction on how to turn on the heather. Tried to call receptionist, no information to which number to dial. In most of hotel you dialled 0 then you will get the receptionist. I enjoyed my stay at the Astor :) the room had a funny smell, the breakfast was very uninspiring, and one could hear every noise from every corner all the time, but the room also was large and comfortable and the bathroom was good and everyone on staff was very friendly and helpful - it was a relief to stay at a place where it felt a lot like being at home. I definitely would stay again.

This is the best hotel I stay in my hole trip in Italy; even has a Turkish room LOVE IT is awesome in all the ways.

The Hotel was centrally located and was a great place to stay. The staff were very helpful, and our room was amazing. The history of the Hotel was interesting as well. The decor of the Hotel was wonderful. They offered a storage room for our luggage prior to check out which allowed us to go to lunch without all of our bags. Highly recommend.
