Hotel Manuela in Cervia

We stayed in August 2021 for 24 days-1/2 board ... 3 stars is the hotel and 3 stars we give it !!!
Young, nice and willing owners: they ALWAYS fulfilled our requests.
The very functional rooms including the services ... we still have to understand the usefulness of the fridge service in the room: perhaps due to the presence of a baby fridge (empty) ...
Eating is very limited and detached from reality: you are in a seaside place and offer seafood dishes ... fish etc NOOOOO ..... minimum portions .... actually we were fine given the commitment to lose weight : I almost hit the 75kg goal set in 2008 .... I'm trying to complete the job that without Manuela I might not have done: I'm happy and I think my Monzino cardiologist will be too !!!
Breakfast: a decent choice between 3-4 empty cakes and mini-croissants and stuffed croissants, jams / chocolate / honey / yogurt / packaged ... various drinks on request!
For dinner we systematically chose some fish dish served for lunch ... trusting in the good heart of the cook.
The small and crowded room, good for them, but with minimal spacing and non-existent entry / exit routes: however, the water, on tap: I had chosen the hotel for this particularity, having to drink, strictly, at least 2lt / day, you had to ask at the reception bar and due to the covid rules you could not do it yourself in the dining room (only for breakfast / lunch / dinner): a real nuisance when it was enough to prevent the tap from coming into contact with the bottle ....
Overall without infamy and without praise: a room with a roof / sea view, a balcony where even a chair was too much ....
Quality / price ratio not fully satisfactory: these are details obviously and on the whole we were GOOD: we don't like to bother ... we just want to spend a different period than usual.
Ps: polite and attentive staff, special mention is Mrs Cinzia who took care of the room: a cheerful and friendly all-rounder who has loaded our luggage since our arrival: she shouldn't have ... but thank you !!!
For Fantini we suggest a card that allows you to settle your consumption on departure or daily or as you see fit, which allows a preferential lane to book their restaurant etc etc .... a loyalty advantage for everyone .... maybe ... and that you avoid movements of a few euros: you must have a little trust in those who have an agreement !!!! Or not ??
