Good old place near city centre. Staff is old and very nice. Breakfast is good variety. Ample parking space.

The Air Conditioning does not work, not a good place for summer stays. They have two buildings, in one across the parking lot the A/C is completely not cooling. In the other building it is undersized and does not cool well at all. At full turn down it just achieves 25 to 26C. For summer time of year if cool comfort is important you will want to look at another place.

Tiny rooms, tiny and not ergonomic toilet, tiny 17" TV monitor, old furniture, very poor breakfast, light bulb not working, one little bottle of shower gel in shower, no plug close to bed. Surely not a 4 star hotel!!! I have asked to get assistance and fix issue with size of room/bed and got a lecture instead of what "the hotel considers...". Many better hotels around to go to, I am sure...

Disaster !!! No apologies at all ... been for work here and I told them 7.30am can u please order a taxi at 8.00 am ! no taxi got order... been at work to late. The day before they order a taxi at the wrong time and stress me over the room phone without any apologies... even after tell them I get late ... they act like it’s everything all right and nothing is wrong !

Ottimo hotel 4 stelle ben posizionato e facilmente raggiungibile dall'autostrada. Ha un parcheggio interno enorme. Anche le camere sono ampie e con wifi Il bagno è semplice e la doccia forse un pó troppo datata Colazione discreta e semplice, ma per 6€ sarebbero da evitare quei succhi di frutta che succhi non sono, ma semplici bevande al solo gusto di arancia! In un hotel a 4 stelle mi aspetterei almeno un vero succo al 100% di arancia (anche se confezionato su scatola in tetrapack o da concentrato di succo) se non una vera spremuta!

- The hotel & the rooms are straight out of a 70s movie. Can't blame them, cause the entire city of Reggio Emilia seems to be so.
- Snakeskin pattern on half height of the wall & furniture. Looks weird for 2018.
- Extremely tiny shower cubicle, not for the calorie pilers.
- The breakfast looks like you could spend an hour munching, but its really just the widest variety of jams & spreads to go with your bread.
- There's nothing wrong about this hotel, but then, there's nothing right too.

Very good, if a little generic and old-fashioned, business hotel about 20 minutes walk from Reggio Emilia station. Good size rooms, tidy, clean and reliable wifi. Breakfast is generous and varied, though no hot food available it seems. Soya milk available for vegans on request. Staff are competent and helpful (though not always especially friendly) - they saved my trip from disaster by lending me a spare plug adaptor after I left mine at home! Overall, I would definitely recommend Hotel Cristallo.
