Hotel Marittimo in Rimini

Family vacation with 2 adults and a baby from August 29th to September 2nd. Excellent value for money.
Overall, we had a great time.
The hotel has been partially renovated; on our floor, some of the room doors are new, and some are not. The furnishings in the rooms are new, but the floors, windows, and bathroom fixtures are all very dated. Honestly, considering how little you spend time in the room on vacation, I don't see it as a major problem. The room was reasonably clean. The common areas were also clean, but the biggest flaw is the guests' pets; I often found dog hair on the outdoor tables, and in my opinion, this shouldn't happen, but it's not the management's fault. Pets were also allowed in the dining room, with medium/large dogs sniffing around the buffet tables.
The hotel's location is good, just steps from the beach on a quiet street.
The food was a great surprise! A classic breakfast buffet with croissants, donuts, yogurt, jams, cold cuts, etc., and drinks served from the bar, including real espresso! Lunch and dinner included a hot and cold vegetable buffet, a few pizzas, and leftovers from previous meals (there's absolutely nothing wrong with bringing back uneaten food, in my opinion). The first and second courses were very generous and varied; we ate a bit of everything: pasta and risotto with meat or fish, minestrone, legume soups, fish fillets, and all kinds of meat. (I've read reviews from people who didn't eat anything; I'm tempted to ask, "What are they used to eating at home?") For the price we paid for full board, everything was truly excellent!
Would I return? Yes, only for the service I received... but I didn't like the area... too quiet!

This is the third consecutive year I've stayed at this hotel. The staff is very competent and helpful; as soon as you arrive, you feel at home. The food is truly delicious and plentiful; the buffet is always full, and as soon as something runs out, they bring it back right away. The room is always clean and in perfect condition. Debora was very kind and accommodated all my requests, even managing to find me a room for the extra days I wanted. I highly recommend staying here; you won't regret it. Fantastic staff.

I stayed at this hotel last week with my
Mom and my two daughters, and I must say that it was a really pleasant discovery… for having two stars it is very welcoming, the staff of surprising kindness, and above all genuine, which is not easy to find! The absolutely excellent cuisine, congratulations to the cook! The choice between 2/3 first courses and as many second courses is absolutely perfect ... The room, however small it is absolutely comfortable, is equipped with what is necessary (we had a problem with the hairdryer, which was promptly resolved) ...
A few steps from the sea in a really quiet area ... equipped with everything you need for a holiday with children (a few meters away I also found trampolines and cars, even super nice ones).
And last but not least, indeed, the 4-legged friends who are welcome in every area of ​​the hotel ... not for everyone! Although our old lady is not used to the chaos for which she stayed in the room, it is something that I really appreciate very much.
We will absolutely make sure to return.

the rooms are a bit small but have a nice balcony, excellent cleanliness both in the rooms and throughout the hotel.
different and particular food every day and above all of quality, starting from the appetizer to ending with the dessert, all really good.
super strategic position, you are a stone's throw from the sea, a stone's throw from the Sunday market and a stone's throw from the evening stroll.
last but not least, the staff are really great! kind, polite, always smiling and even thoughtful for any problem.
and I really want to tell my personal experience.
on my and my partner's anniversary, returning from the beach they made us find our table full of heart-shaped rose petals.
I never expected it but our compliments for the competence of these people and this fantastic Hotel! Fantastic Debora!

Truly a wonderful experience. The staff here are wonderful, they are sweet, helpful and smiling. I would never have imagined such a welcome. Then with the full treatment we can say that: breakfast from 7:30 to 9:30 is an excellent range of time, the foods are good and consistent with a 2-star hotel. Lunches and dinners are à la carte and there is always something to choose from that suits all tastes. Here comes the second discovery: in my opinion they have stolen the cook from a masterchef or from some super luxurious hotel because certain dishes in particular are divine. Sometimes I would have paid two full board to eat everything twice, the portions are just right ... It was just too good! (seafood risotto, pasta with fish, gnocchi with pancetta and various types of cheese, amatriciana, rolls, carpaccio with lemon, fish was always perfectly cooked and seasoned and I could go on but there is to try it to really understand). the rooms are what they are, the square footage is visible everywhere and the online photos reflect reality, just be aware of the space where you go, there are no surprises, if you still want to pay little and choose a hotel at 3 stars you cannot have 100 square meters of room. However, we were also lucky because we have a very large bathroom and a very long balcony of our own. Staff and food are truly top notch. Thanks to the owner, all the waiters and the legendary cleaning lady, fantastic experience.
