Hotel Mara in Rimini

I highly recommend choosing this hotel for your stay in Rimini. Our room was spacious, and it had a nice small balcony. It was equipped with all the essentials and more, including a big wardrobe and lots of drawers, efficient air conditioning, a mini-fridge, television and a hairdryer. Additionally, the bathroom was both practical and impeccably clean. As for breakfast, it was delicious and had a variety of options, especially the fantastic coffee. Above all, the staff was extremely pleasant and ready to help when needed. The whole experience made our vacation in Rimini one to remember.

We stayed at this hotel and it was wonderful! Super clean rooms, very friendly receptionist, excellent breakfast! Close to the Metromare and the beach, so very convenient for everything! Highly recommended!

I stayed at this hotel in Bellariva in July 2025 for 14 nights. The property is dated but well-maintained, and the room I stayed in in particular had new furniture. I decided to give it a high rating because, despite being a 2-star hotel, it has some nice touches I've never found in other hotels in Rimini: most notably, the mini-fridge in the room and the brand-new windows that block out all the distracting noises (the railway is nearby, but thanks to the windows, you can't hear the trains!)... There's also air conditioning and a (usable) balcony.
The only downside is the bathroom, which is very small and has a ceiling shower with a floor drain (but 99% of 1-, 2-, and 3-star hotels in Rimini have this type of shower solution).
I've been coming to the Riviera Romagnola alone for over 10 years, and generally the single rooms are like closets. At Hotel Mara, I was given a spacious double room.
The staff is courteous and very friendly. Cleaning and towel changes are done every two days, but this was absolutely no problem for me.
The location is excellent, in that my favorite beach (the legendary 90) is just a 5-minute walk away.
From July 12th to 26th, 2025, I paid less than €700. Considering the prices around, I thought my expense was fair.
Given the same budget, I would definitely stay at this property again!
As far as I'm concerned, Hotel Mara gets a thumbs up... with full marks.

Everything was absolutely perfect! Hats off to the staff – they were incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful. The breakfast was delicious, and the whole experience was simply wonderful. Highly recommended! 🥰🥰

Depending on what you seek, this could be an ideal fit. Well located a short walk from the waterfront, but ticked back into a neighborhood with simple but good small spots for food and beverages. And, the right price. Closed offseason after October 15.

staff is great, good location, old school property so don't expect modern luxury upgrades. Bathroom very old school.

The hotel is basic but wonderful! Our room had double bed and bunk beds, wardrobe, fridge, safe, desk, chair, patio doors into a balcony with two chairs - blackout blinds - air conditioning. Bathroom was small and like a wet room - toilet and shower in sane area - space worked fine though We had breakfast which is just meat and cheese, croissant, yoghurt, cake and juice. If you don’t want 5 star then this is a perfect place. Manager Salvadore is just fabulous - so helpful and very friendly - I would defo recommend a stay here - very close to everything for access to beach and bus routes -

I’d highly like to recommend Hotel Mara! It’s just a few steps away from the beach,in the lovely area of Bellariva.The hotel staff is very friendly and make you feel at home.The room has everything you need-comfy bed,AC,a little balcony,tv & strong WiFi.Delicious breakfast available on site.

I stayed for a long time at their facility with my two big dogs. The person is very kind and immediately puts you at ease. My room was always spotless and everything in working order. The only strange thing was the water from the tap which, before becoming cold (to fill the bowls of my dogs), took a long time but everything was solvable. I highly recommend this hotel. Absolutely!!
