I Gigli del Belvedere in Montefiascone

We stayed at this magical property for two weeks with our extended family ranging from 9 months to 70 years. Waking up to the spectacular view each morning was wonderful and we spent most of our time here outside on the first floor patio overlooking the lake and countryside. The children (and adults) were entertained by the ping pong and foozball tables as well as the beautiful pool. The rooftop patio was a gorgeous spot from which to watch the sunsets over the lake. The four apartments were immaculately clean, spacious and comfortable. From here, we easily took day trips to Bolsena, Orvieto, Sacro Bosco di Bomarzo, a buffalo mozzarella producer nearby, the town of Montefiascone, Pitigliano (one of the “ most beautiful small villages in Italy”) and Rome.
The owners, Sabrina and Antonio, were welcoming, generous and kind. They organized a cooking class, the bus trip to Rome, and a pizza party for us. Gianluca had many great suggestions for restaurants and places to visit. We made beautiful memories at this special property and hope to return again someday.

Ten of us spent six wonderful days at this amazing villa on a hill overlooking Lake Bolsena with some spectacular panoramic views of the area. The villa is well appointed and comfortable for large groups of family and friends. Antonio and Sabrina were joyful owner-hosts, and couldn’t do enough to ensure we had a magical stay. They helped us arrange for a team of local chefs come to prepare 3 wonderful meals (using local products… including Est!Est!Est! -the locally produced white wine! There are a lot of places to visit - all highlighted on their website.

For my 65th Birthday, my family friends and I ( a group of 17 guest, ages 34 to 86) stayed for 2 weeks at the beautiful I Gigli Del Belvedere. Antonio and Sabrina were the best host we have ever encountered. From the start of our correspondence to the end of the trip they were extremely responsive and very helpful in planning and arranging activities for our group and making sure all of our needs were met. They were able to arrange a chef for us as well as several special excursions.The villa is magical , the photos do not due it justice. The views are breathtaking and the feel of the property is very special. It is well equipped with everything you will need. The sense of space it offered allowed our group the ability to have privacy , yet still have a sense of togetherness. The location was perfect, conveniently located next to Rome, Tuscany and Umbria. Antonio and Sabrina became family and helped us create memories that will last a lifetime !

Amazing villa with astonishing view of Bolzano Lake and Montefiascone places. It is a 4 floors villa with swimming pool and all comfort: barbecue, pizza oven, playground, table tennis, tables outside, terrace and up terrace . All floor is independent with every needs like toilets, kitchens, living rooms etc. At the basement there is a wonderful typical whine cellar and a saloon for events. Amazing place to spend our Christmas holiday but I think it’s even better during spring/summer

The villa was lovely with amazing views looking over lake Bolsena, fabulous sunsets from roof terrace! Pool was slightly on small size but was grand as we were a big group with the whole villa to ourselves might of been different if we had to share with other families. The hosts were amazing, they went above and beyond! Super markets in walking distance and can walk into Montefiascone and too the lake but you definitely need to hire cars or use taxis to get around to sight see. It was a fabulous week in a lovely location and was perfect for our large group of 16 mixed age adults and 2 babies! Would highly recommend.

Antonio, Sabrina and GianLuca are such wonderful, welcoming and delightful hosts.

From the moment we arrived, GianLuca was incredible and talked us through the history of the building, the bespoke wines, and surrounding towns.
It was a very special trip, bringing family and friends together to celebrate a loved one and this place is more beautiful than we could have ever imagined.
A pool area with proper parasols that give sufficient shade, music, communal dining areas indoor and outdoors to enjoy together whilst having the privacy of individual apartments. Stunning views and a wonderful space to enjoy a one of a kind trip. Close enough to beautiful Montefiascone, drenched in rich history and a short car drive from Lake Bolsena and other day trips to Rome + beyond.
We were a group of 18 and each and every one of us have left feeling better than we came. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Besides the beauty of the place that blends Italian vibe in each corner, it has something magical. The picturesque 360 view, the pool, the wine cellar but most importantly Sabrina and Antonio makes the stay a memory for life. In fact, we were there exactly a year ago and we can take it our of our mind, maybe because we tight the knot there?
This place is beyond recommendable. 5 ***** all the way.
