The hotel is really nice, you can meet a lot of people right away. It's very close to the city center, which is super convenient if you want to pop into Genoa. Recommended – it's comfortable and affordable.
The carpet in the room was very dirty, and the kitchenware was not only broken but also greasy, indicating a lack of maintenance. I wouldn't recommend it to people who are very clean.
The advantage is that it's very close to the station.
Very nice building, wonderful common areas, everything in order, except for a problem with the elevator, one of the two is not working, so there is a bit of a wait for the elevator.
It was a nice loft apartment
Breakfast was ok but …
It's close to the airport; my flight landed quite late, so it only took about 10 minutes to get there. The environment was okay, though a bit noisy on the first floor. I was in such a rush that I didn't have time to explore the area.
Great hotel with a friendly atmosphere! I'll be happy to come again! Perfect for young people. Only the beds are metal and the mattress is hard.. everything else is just super!

Amazing amenities. The room was big and spacious. There was a floor for fruits, beverages and terrace as well as a lounge. There was also a billiard room but I didn't get to visit. Location is good however parking is a 8min walk away. Don't get fooled and try to drive to the hotel as we did and get stuck in the alleys for pedestrian only. Alleys are night are filled with youth and seemed dangerous...
The lobby is beautiful with old fresco. Everything is organized and well taken care of. The breakfast is good. The room itself was average but had all the amenities needed. The location is conveniently located in the old town close to most of the attractions. All the stores are shut down after 7 pm except the restaurants so the streets in the area look abandoned. It's easy to get lost in the narrow...
This was my favourite place we stayed at while in Italy. The building was stunning and historic, while the rooms were modernized.
Breakfast was simply incredible and the staff was warm and friendly.
Highly recommend!!!
The hotel itself was great, the staff was super helpful, and the room (Room 404) was very clean and spacious. My spouse said it was her favorite of the four hotels we stayed in. Minus one star for the AC system. The unit was installed behind the curtains; when the curtains were closed, it trapped cold air, which tricked the thermostat into reading a lower temperature than the room actually was. You...
Great location and we could walk to so many things we wanted to see. The alleyways were amazing and after a few days we learned our way around. So much to see, taste and explore here!!
One of my favorite hotels ever. The way they combined modern style and comforts into this historic building while retaining it's history was truly impressive. Some reviews and travel guides will scare you about the old town neighborhood at night but we find the area around this hotel to be safe, quite, interesting, and beautiful. It was such a great central location to all the places we wanted to see...

Very nice hotel great place in a quiet location
Everyone is very kind and attentive. Room service is quick and delicious. Rooms are clean and comfortable. We are really enjoying our stay here!
An oasis of tranquility and old fashioned service, a little tired but still oozes charm. Close to the station for trips to Cinque Terre

Perfect, nice breakfast, good location
Clean room and great location. Breakfast good but facilities and amenities quite basic. Good base and works well for a business trip.
Everything was wonderful, especially the hotel's location. Very close to the landmarks, but in a quieter area, easily accessible from any train station. Thank you.
Very good location!
Nice view from rooms and rooms are big enough
Housekeeping is bad
Friendly staff.. excellent location for moving...small room but clean and it is ok for short stay.... welcome coffee free.... the staff answered my question for tourists...
Id recommend 👌
There are stairs from the entrance to the front desk, and they helped me with my luggage when I checked in, but they didn't help me with my luggage when I checked out. The man in charge of the restaurant was very kind. The older man at the front desk was unfriendly.

Everything about the hotel was perfect. Spacious room with a huge bathroom and impeccable cleanliness. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent sweet breakfast. The guy in reception was super helpful. V close to the port and old town. Really convenient..
Great location. Stayed here before a cruise and could actually walk to the terminal. Breakfast was good. Room was comfortable.
Ideal location and pleasant stay
Ideally located and a very short walk to the port area. Complimentary breakfast which was a bonus. Rooms are not huge but this is not an issue if you're out most of the time anyway. Very friendly staff. It is worth asking reception to book a taxi if you're going to the airport (approx. €25).
Location is close to port and train station, which was great. But the spaces are a bit tight. It was a short one night stay so it was ok for the short stay.
Michele is excellent at the reception. Hotel in great location and close to amenities and famous attractions.

Very good price=quality, very clean, no carpets! No old furniture all new good bathrooms and friendly stuff! Good also with kids!
Lovely and clean. Surprisingly quiet considering the room overlooked a main road. Super friendly and attentive staff and a fab breakfast to start each day. Comfy bed. Great location.
Staff members are very kind and friendly. Breakfast is decent. Rooms are clean. For the price I paid, this is a treasure house. European vibe aka tiny apartment-converted hotel. Will return
The hotel is well located, short walk to everywhere in Genova. A lot of parking options 5 mins walk to the hotel. Very clean and perfect for city break accommodation.
It was the perfect place to stay in Genova. Walkable to every interest site and restaurants. Nice building and nice staff.
We love our stay at Genova!
Lovely central spot in Genova
Lovely room with amazing balcony over the Main Street. Helpful staff and good (and value for money) breakfast. Spotlessly clean.
Only suggestion is to check out the shower settings as ours periodically went cold.

Very spacious room. Don't let the first look of the entrance and hallway to the ancient lift deter you. The hotel is awesome with a nice lobby and plenty sitting space. That's a very good place where to stay: central, close to the rail stations, comfortable, clean, very kind staff
The location is excellent, a 3-minute walk from the station. It seems to be a family-run hotel; the service was good, the rooms were newly renovated, spacious, and had an elevator. Breakfast was simple, with a variety of breads and pastries. There are inexpensive and delicious Chinese restaurants and Asian supermarkets nearby.
Very nice old hotel but kept very well. Lots of restaurants and shopping in ealkign distance
Recently,I had the privilege of staying at the Hotel Vittoria very close to the Principe Railroad Station.I stayed at the Vittoria for 4 nights.I enjoyed my room,I appreciated the nice breakfast, and I liked the hospitality of the Vittoria's staff. We enjoyed our stay, staff was very friendly when we checked in. The hotel has several excellent cafes close by, location was decent nice by day and close to all the amenities, and old town.
Cannot fault this hotel. Scrupulously clean rooms and common areas. Friendly, helpful and competent management and staff. Decent breakfast and perfectly sited just above the Old Port with all its attractions. Visited in December with friends from the UK and the bedrooms were warm and well-soundproofed. Good bed linen and towels. Hotel is inexpensive for an important city like Genoa. Wholeheartedly...
We went to this hotel after a bad experience we had with another called bologna in Genova and luckily we found our place. The staff did anything to help us immediately and we found what we expected.Overall a good experience that anyone can go.
We stayed at this good hotel after a horrible experience we had with hotel bologna in Genova and from the first time the staff did anything to help us find a room and we were lucky. In terms of comfort is not so good but at least we did our job
Nice hotel in central location. Walkable distance to most attractions.
Good breakfast.
Worth what I paid.
Basic hotel room which met my needs. My first two nights were a bit noisy due to the proximity of a bar that I was unaware of. My third night was in a different room that was simply quiet bliss! The staff were all wonderful, and the breakfast was delicious. I am still missing the delicious coffees! Hotel Helvetia is close to many attractions, including the train station and the waterfront.

Beautiful period building in the heart of Genoa
We had a great time: the room was spacious, the staff were very helpful and accommodating to our needs and requests, the building was centrally located for reaching the main attractions, and the lounge had a view of the Duomo.
I have very mixed feelings about this hotel. First, its location is excellent hidden away by the Duomo, but very quiet. The room was great with 2 double beds and ample space. And very comfortable. However, the bathroom space is very limited. Not only that it has a marble floor which is very slippery when wet and potentially dangerous. Although it was quite palatial, it somehow lacked character and...

Very kind people and quaint set up.
I stayed for a weekend with a group of friends. Basic rooms but very clean. Bed ok. Nice view over the neighbouring villas and partial sea view from the balcony. Great position close to clubs and restaurants. There are 2 chargers for electric vehicles. The young ladies at the reception and the waitresses were very kind.
The sounds of the birds when awaking, was paradise. The hotel was close to everything we needed.
The hotel is beautiful, especially the restaurant. The room was small but clean, with a small balcony. The hotel is near the train station, so it can be a bit noisy at night. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. There's private parking, which was perfect for our self-driving trip.
Food staff folks were outstanding! Loved the included breakfast and loved having a dinner option there which we did twice! Cleanliness of the hotel a big plus too! Free parking also a big selling point! We will be back!
Gorgeous location. Beautiful hotel. Nice rooms with air conditioning. Absolutely loved it! Highly recommend a walk down along the water.

A good one, clean, the reception helps you with every little thing, very close to the train station
Walk distance from train station but with a little slope. Friend and very nice staff. The room is wide.
But Personally dislike smell in the room.
Excellent hotel, colorful and clean.
The location is excellent. The breakfast is nice, and the reception staff are friendly and helpful
Walking distance from the train station.
Single room, quite spacious, 2 windows in the room and 1 in the bathroom.
The hotel is quite old, but clean.
Unfortunately the room (and the structure) are old, along with the upholstery. After days of travel, they are not the ideal place to relax. The dust in the elevator gears tells of years of neglect. I found the reception staff very kind. Overall, the quality-price ratio is not good.

We arrived on a weekend when hotels were very expensive. If I'd paid three times less for this hotel, which is what it normally costs, I probably wouldn't have complained. However, the value for money was completely unsatisfactory. It's not a place I'd want to return to, unless it undergoes a complete renovation.
I don't know if it's a bad location or that the city is kind of ugly. Although the hotel is located at a super-strategic train and bus stop, the city has a lot to talk about. They were very attentive with the cleanliness of the room, which surprised me. They serviced my room without me asking, so don't leave anything of value inside. I didn't lose anything, but it's still better to be cautious.
The location of the hotel is OK, near the train station, and it was easy to find with navigation. It seems to have just been renovated, and the room has a decorative feel. The hotel is compact overall, and the elevator is small, which can only accommodate two people with luggage. The bathroom is small and not very convenient to use, but fortunately the shower water is very strong. The front desk staff...
the hotel was perfect, the room was very clean and very nice.
The only problem was maybe the elevator that with the suitcases is a bit uncomfortable because it was small, but for the rest everything was perfect.
Location is good, near Coach and Train terminal. Although facilities are basic, it is good enough for the short stay and represent good value for money
It takes 5 minutes to transfer to the center circle of the pier, subway and train station. The hotel is clean and well-equipped. Along the seaside line, you can reach the Maritime Museum and Diving Aquarium. During the period, you can enter the retired submarine, making it suitable for family travel.

Very clean,good location. Good staff.
It was perfect, very comfortable place, located near train station
The hotel is conveniently located, a 5-minute walk from the Piazza Principe train station and 10 minutes from the city center and the port. The room is clean and comfortable. Bottled water, tea, and instant coffee are provided. The only drawback is the small shower.
The hotel has a great location. That's where the positives end. The reception staff is extremely unfriendly; they don't say hello or goodbye. The rooms are old, the walls are stained, it's noisy until late at night, there's a smell of food in the room from the cafe on the ground floor, and the Wi-Fi signal is terrible.
The hotel is in a great location, very close to Prince Train Station, with convenient transportation and a rich selection of hotels, restaurants and bars around it. However, the hotel is as old as the city of Genoa, with no elevator and simple breakfast. Although the bathroom has been renovated, the shower room is too small, making it almost impossible to move while taking a shower. At the same time...
This was a very lucky trip. We originally booked this hotel, but this hotel did not have an elevator and our luggage was very heavy. I tried to ask the front desk lady if she could change a room with an elevator for us, and then we were upgraded to a room that was very spacious and comfortable!

The hotel is very nice. We had a comfortable room, except for the bed, which, rightfully, is a struggle to please everyone. The breakfast was excellent, and the staff were friendly. It's close to the center. The only downside is having to pay cash for parking instead of using the debit card. Otherwise, everything was fine.
The hotel wasn’t bad, staff can be more friendly. Room was nice 👍
Don’t go by car to this hotel, parking is a nightmare. Lousy breakfast. Room clean and okay.
ok could be better.
The breakfast was the let down , there was more people than tables at breakfast and the items for breakfast was not great and poor presentation. Items were not replaced on a regular basis ie no cold milk meats not refilled etc.
Superb!
Really nice place to stay. Beds super comfy and the breakfast was absolutely superb with so much choice!! Also one of the only places with parking onsite!

Lovely overnight stay in an area just outside city centre by a few kilometres. Still easy to get to and had a local feel with many workers and families coming together under the arcades. Nice to have breakfast included in price. Would recommend the bed to any traveller!

Good location and clean overall. The wifi was not working the entire time we stayed here which is very inconvenient if you are traveling and don’t have data. Parking is expensive too!

Simply the Best Plaza Premium! As I have been others countries, I rated this as the best! This my 3rd time on transit, the dishes were good in taste!
It's a little confusing finding the registration desk - could use a little more detail on the signage out front.
Hotel staff was very cooperative getting the bed right. The room cleaning was marginal and not consistent. The accommodations were good.
Paintings on the ceiling were super cute
Hard to find lobby at first
In the city so parking is difficult. The hotel starts on the 3rd floor so either go up many stairs or wait for an elevator that only fits 2 people. Room was small and loud.
