What a wonderful place. A few minutes walk from the busy streets of Citta Alta, and you reach this peaceful place. Lovely garden and sitting area, so quiet. The Hotel is an old building, full of charm and character. Stone stairs lead to the bedrooms. Our room was overlooking the garden. King size comfortable bed. Fridge with drinks. Newly renovated bathroom. Power shower, hairdryer. Black out curtains and quietness gave us a good night's sleep. Hot drinks available on first floor. Breakfast was served downstairs. Good selection of fruit,yogurt, cereals, eggs, bacon, breads, homemade jam and cakes. Excellent coffee and fruit juices. Easy walk into beautiful Citta Alta. Duomo, Basilica, Piazzas with good selection of Restaurants. Nonna Alda is a traditional Italian Restaurant with regional food and wine. There is an old fortress with amazing views of Bergamo. Our first time will not be our last. Thank you for making us so welcome, and staff are so very helpful. X

Pleasant clean accommodation centrally located in Bergamo old town. Room was nicely presented with a nice ensuite. Perfect continental breakfast. The breakfast was the only human interaction during our stay! The back entrance was perfect to get to the main square quickly.

We had a very pleasant stay. Definitely recommend to others visiting the old city. Steps away from everything including the main square. Visited with family and friends to watch soccer match between Italy vs N Ireland.

The staff was particularly helpful, both Giorgia and Daniele made our stay excellent and provided us with personal service. I highly recommend the hotel.

Booked 2 rooms. Junior suite and Deluxe studio suite. Deluxe comes with a separate dining room. Check in is easy although be aware there are no staff here. If you need anything it could be a problem. Rooms were nice but nothing special. You are paying for the location here. Breakfast ok. Fried streaky bacon so extremely crunchy with fried eggs that are put out at 8am. Breakfast is served 8 until 10. We arrived at 8.30 and had to eat the cold friend eggs but at least they topped them up when gone. However on our final day we got there at 9 and only 2 eggs were left. There was a guy on and he said there were no more eggs so some of the 4 of us went without. A lady arrived at 9.30 and she was told no eggs or fruit was left. There were never beans put out on any of the 3 days we were there. One suggestion is that they put milk or milk powder out at the tea / coffee station on the 1st floor. We did ask for a jug at breakfast which the lady kindly provided.

The property is well located. Staff and breakfast are excellent. The only thing that was not convenient for us being elderly that our room was on the third floor.

Nice room. Decent breakfast. Nice staff. Great location. Parking expensive. Contactless check in. Make sure to get the room code before going to the room. Another code for garage and outside doors. Lovely garden.

We had a wonderful stay. The location is just off the main square, Piazza Vecchia. The air conditioning was nice for summer and allowed us to black out the room and sleep in. Beds were comfortable, breakfast was great. The courtyard was also very pleasant.
