The nice hotel, good value for money (was not included, too expensive in my opinion).
Good location in the old town and close to the train station.

Incredibly cozy place! The room is huge, spacious, the room has everything you need for a stay, a kettle, dishes, fluffy towels, bathroom accessories, air conditioning, fresh ironed bed linen, not all 4-star hotels have such service! Cleaning every day. The interior is a special pleasure, the furniture is both modern and antique, in the lobby there is an art gallery with landscapes of Bergamo! You can ask for breakfast at the reception - very tasty, there are eggs, meat, cheese. Very good location, in a quiet place without noise and parties, but absolutely everything is close! Around the corner is the most delicious gelato, in the other direction there is a passage along the ancient stairs to the gates of the old city, you can go for a walk along the Venetian walls, you can immediately go to Chita Alta, and then go up the second funicular to the castle of San Vigilio, better at sunset, the views are stunning. The center of the lower city is 10 minutes walk. The hotel itself is a minute from the square with the Carrara art gallery! I was absolutely delighted, I met the owner of the hotel, she told me where to go, what to see. I combined work and travel, so it was not always easy with logistics, they told me everything, told me how to get where best.
I will also say right away, if you are recommended Terme San Pellegrino, it is better to plan for the whole day, it is very beautiful there, in any weather, a huge spa area, and to walk around the city itself. I had 5 hours and unfortunately I did not have time for everything.

I will definitely return to Bergamo, and I will only stay here!

A very pleasant, intimate hotel located on a charming street. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean, serviced daily, and equipped with an electric kettle, cups, tea, and sugar, a refrigerator, and a hairdryer. The hotel's location is excellent – about a 5-minute walk to the bus stop where buses to and from the airport depart and arrive, a 5-6-minute walk to the Città Alta gate, a 15-minute walk to the center of the "new town" and shops, and a 20-25-minute walk to the train station. If I go to Bergamo again, I will definitely book a room at this hotel.

We (2 people) stayed at the Academia Residence Hotel in Bergamo for two days, from April 11 to 13, 2025. The price was RUB 29,022.50 without breakfast (€276.4). Booked through Trip.com. Payment in rubles. The hotel said that the reservation came through OSTROVOK!!! The hotel is located in the center of Bergamo, in the old part of the city, on a narrow medieval street, in an ancient palazzo. The Carrara Academy is very close (I recommend it). The hotel is located near the train station. We had a large room (superior, quadruple), its windows overlooked a wonderful quiet garden, where we had a separate exit, and where we had a great time in the evening, over a cup of tea. The room was large, with a beautiful design and even antique furniture, there was everything you need: a refrigerator, a safe, a TV, toiletries. There was always someone at the reception, which was important for us, as we had to leave our things before check-in, very friendly and attentive staff at the hotel. The hotel is very beautiful and quiet.
A bit of a surprise, quite a high tax - 15.9€ for 2 nights, which we paid upon departure. On this trip we also visited Brescia, Verona, Padua and Venice (for example, in Venice - 30.0€ for 7 nights) - everywhere the accommodation tax was lower than in Bergamo. The rating for the hotel and staff is 9 points!!! I RECOMMEND!!!

Cost of hotel is quite reasonable, but going from train station to hotel was quite a mess, the hotel coild not explain properly how to get there, which I half way up the old town.
Unless you have no luggage, taking a taxi is the most convenient .

The taxi stand is to the right side along the train station. Which we were told by tourist information across the Plaza, but not really clear

We didnt try the hotel breakfast which is $12 per pax, instead we walked 350M down slope to cafe poeme, which served good coffee, nice breakfast in and still cost less.

Upon leaving, ask the hotel to arrange transport in advance , cost €15 to train station. Pay cash to make the driver very happy.

If you can find you way to hotel, it is recommended.
