A wonderful location, great service, clean rooms, a great view, easy to walk to other locations, and great breakfast! Would’ve loved to stay longer! One of our favorite stays throughout our trip! The renovations they are doing are an awesome upgrade. Would highly recommend staying here.

Truly stunning hotel. Stayed 3 nights as part of a birthday trip around northern Italy. Room was ready for us when we arrived around 1430, we stayed in the newer block with a view of the pool and lake. Great location, about 20 mins walk to the historical center, we used the free bikes to get there and back. Lovely clean room, huge bathroom and shower. What a wonderful week we spent in this beautiful hotel. The staff are all marvelous. The setting is idyllic. The breakfast is amazing. The pool is heated and just perfect for a young family. It is surrounded by restaurants in the area that are all reachable by either bike/ short walk. The bus to Sirmione is less than 5 minutes from the hotel,so you could get away without a car,if that was your wish...

We stayed for three days. On the first night, we couldn't sleep because of the nauseating smell coming from the sewer pipes! When we contacted reception in the morning, they said a room change was not possible and that they would send a technician to inspect it. Breakfast wasn’t worth the 10 euros they charged for the pool towels had no kettle or coffee machine in the room and had no iron available.

Absolutely brilliant hotel..food was lovely...breakfast was plentiful..rooms are very clean fresh and airy...housekeeping is great..we had a slight view of the lake when looking left from the balcony. The staff are fantastic..i was taken into hospital while I was there and nothing was too much trouble for them..they called taxis for us and saw that my other half was looked after and needed for nothing...

We had a very pleasant stay during our summer holiday. The food was excellent and the staff were always very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, there is no playground or playroom for children. At the end of August, there were also many Asian tiger mosquitoes around, but the hotel can't be held responsible for that.

The location of this property was stunning with views and proximity to the lake. It is located at the edge of the peninsula, so you do have to walk 10 min to the town center. The rooms are modern, but the washroom was a bit outdated and the mattress was very hard and uncomfortable. The breakfast had lots of options and tasty. My favorite was the view of the lake - just stunning.

Fabulous, quiet location, with great views of the lake and an easy, beautiful walk into Sirmione. The hotel and grounds are excellent and the buffet breakfast is a fabulous cornucopia of excess - we really loved this - especially the freshly made coffee, and fruits and vegetables. Greta location, to get to the hotel if you are driving you do have to drive through the historic centre which can be a little narrow and busy, however is not an issue and quite the experience. We arrived as a family of six (4 kids under 10) and the facilities were clean and as expected. We knew we would not be able to use the pool due to it being out of season. The reception staff led us to our room. The rooms we cleaned daily and the daily breakfast was excellent. We would stay here again perhaps when warmed. Very close to nice places to eat and not far from the tourist attractions.

Absolutely spectacular stay. Our room was so luxurious (303) with its jacuzzi tub and the view overlooking the lake. Everyone at the hotel went out of their way to make our stay top notch (early check-in, help with our bags, provided some stationary we needed). Michael is the star of the show at Hotel Mauro! We received a 5* welcome and service from Michael throughout our stay, he really is the heart and soul of this hotel and made our stay an excellent one. We stayed in a standard room which was compact but perfect for a short stay, the location is convenient with the shuttle bus a short walk away and we enjoyed the complimentary breakfast.

This is a great hotel if you don’t mind being away from the hustle and bustle of Sirmione. Excellent staff, pool, restaurant. Showers and rooms are small but they are only there for you to sleep right?! Would recommend.

Nice place to stay. Food options are very nice and right at the location. There was some live music one evening at dinner hour. Pool was nice with plenty of lounge chairs. Lots of nice outdoor sitting areas with tables and chairs. Staff are all friendly. Room was on the cozy side but was adequate for the basics. Short walk to Garda Lake. Short drive to some great wineries nearby. Overall a great place...

Lovely stay at hotel Dogana. Great location to explore lake Garda and the staff were helpful. Great to have bikes to hire with such good bike paths. Breakfast was nice with a good variety of food options.

It is a nice hotel, with friendly staff (specially the woman in the restaurant, she is really something!), nice parking space, a small swimming pool. The room is small, bed really hard and the shower space really tidy. Exceptional breakfast with fresh honey, fresh squeezed orange juice, fresh coffee and fresh fruit (really a 5 star breakfast).
