This review is for the restaurant only. The place is great both the building and all the interiors are really well studied and aligned with the expectation that the casual tourist can have when visiting Tempio. Also the service and the food were excellent. The price is above average for the food, but this is subjective and depends on how deep your pocket is.

Had an absolutely amazing dinner - the best I had in Sardinia so far!
The Ravioli was great, the Chef‘s dessert delicious!
But not only the food was great, also the atmosphere and service was fabolous, I felt really welcome and comfortable.

Charming B&B in the heart of the historic zone of Tempio Paysania. Room was large and decorated in a historic style. Modern bathroom. Bed was comfortable. There was heat available but we didn't need it. Breakfast one floor down in a cozy "tea room". Good selection of meats, cheeses, juice and sweet things on a buffet. Coffee prepared individually by the friendly owner. Tricky to find (Google maps wasn't working well), but there is street parking right in front of the restaurant in the adjacent building. Highly recommend

We stopped for lunch & shared a meat / cheese platter - it was delicious. The waiter was incredibly friendly & talked us through the various cheeses / condiments. Very good value & we will absolutely be visiting again.

We had dinner here on our last night in Sardinia, after a lovely walk around Tempio. The food was delicious and so beautifully presented. There was a young waiter who was very friendly and spoke English to us. One star missed because the dessert took such a long time to be served! Nevertheless, we highly recommend the restaurant for an authentic Sardinian meal!

We arrived at Al Vecchio Corso in the evening and it was a bit tricky to find a parking space in the area. The family house turned into B & B is located in the old town of Tempio Pausania, with very narrow one-way streets.
We were very pleasantly surprised by the rooms and the way they were renovated in order to keep specific architecture and introduce visitor to as many traditional elements as possible. The room was spotless and remained that way during our stay. The atmosphere is a homey one, we felt very welcome and safe.
Breakfast was served on first floor and consisted in cold cuts (meat and cheese), butter, jam plus delicious home made sweets (cakes, jam pies, etc) and coffee/tea.
Owners also tend a "locanda", small restaurant with home cooked meals that were all delicious and made from fresh local produce. They also had a good selection of wines. We enjoyed a gourmet dinner here, so highly recommend to try it out.

We went there for lunch and, although they were about to close (2.30pm) they were happy to take us. The food was delicious and the waiter was super friendly and nice. 100% recommended.
