La Siesta in La Maddalena

The hotel wasn't what we expected. The rooms weren't clean; the floors were never cleaned. If you walked barefoot, your bottoms would be black. Towels, sheets, and blankets reeked of dampness. The blankets were rarely changed. Our shower in room 1 was either very hot or very cold, sometimes just very cold. There was no hair shampoo. We slept very poorly for five nights due to the excessive noise. There was loud disco music every day until 2 a.m.; from 2 a.m. until 5 a.m., it was quiet. From 5 a.m., the garbage collectors started making a lot of noise with their bags and hauling things, so we slept for a few hours almost every day. I don't recommend this place.Het

BLACK MOLD
Disgusting Black Mold all over the bathroom. Has not been cleaned in a very long time, fixtures were falling apart in very poor condition overall, do not risk your health

DISGUSTING bathroom the fixtures were falling apart, the washroom was FULL of black mold ! Hasn’t been cleaned in who knows how long. do NOT stay here you’ll certainly get sick! the bathrooms are detached from the bedrooms down a hallway.

Interesting place that does not fit the description.

It is not a B&B as there is no breakfast. Says there is parking included but it is free, unsecured public parking 500 meters away. Says Tea and Coffee, there was a coffee machine with no coffee, tea but no hot water. Says there’s a TV, there is not. Bathroom did not provide hand soap.

Check in is done online, there is no human interaction apart from WhatsApp.

We had read lots of reviews so knew it was going to be basic, but definitely was not good value.

Could be a nice hostel but it is a not so nice B&B.
