Where to stay with kids in Sardinia

We felt like vacation should feel like; welcomed, safe and relaxed. We also loved the scenery of beautiful olive trees, oleanders and a variety of beautiful other mediterranean plants and trees

This hotel really exceeded my expectations, thank you again to the whole team ! The Room: we had a double bedroom with a small garden, it was excellent

The staff is incredibly friendly, relaxed and professional, and I mean everyone, from the receptionists, cleaning, restaurant and pool bar staff. We got a very spacious bungalow with a large bathroom

And it's this small charming bay where children feel good and parents don't have to worry because it's not a huge long beach. Perfect holiday, looking forward to coming back !

Also, the rumor is true, Italians love children. I was actually looking forward to seeing the team for every meal

Quite a large well-kept garden with bridges, streams, ponds, ducks. The sea is nearby, the beach is sandy, clean, and cleaned. Sun beds and umbrellas are free. They take place in a nearby restaurant

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Everything was so clean and the apartment are very equipped. The views are amazing and the beach is very nice to stay at

The hotel is small, consisting of two-story and three-story buildings. The complex is like a small Mediterranean village located in the mountains, very picturesque

Rooms were nice, although our Aircon didn't work, was told system was changing over from 23rd May but nothing changed, it was blowing out air which I'm fairly confident was hotter than the outside temp, was always colder outside the room than inside

Showers were extremely powerful, great water pressure. Pool is very nice and hotel in general is lovely. Was very quiet when we went, never saw more than 3 or 4 groups of people around the main pool at any one time

We only stayed 4 days so was cheaper for us to hire a car for £100 than pay £130 each way for travel. Plus we then had the freedom to go wherever we wanted. The hotel has a nice car park that's free to use

I recommend anyone to simply hire a car, as getting to and from the airport by public means is double the cost or more than just hiring a car for the duration of most trips

This year would be my 9th year visiting Forte Village and I can safely say each time I visit it’s an absolute pleasure. The food is spectacular, the views even better but the best thing about Forte Village is the staff

This area of the Forte Village Resort is rather suitable for families with children. If the relationship quality and price is good, I am not sure

The rooms are always clean and well taken care of although starting to look a little dated for the price you have to pay to stay here. Food has been great at all restaurant’s

The rooms at the Pineta are not exactly in the center of the Resort but you can reach any place in just a few minutes. Being a sportsman, the sport academy center was decisive. It kept me busy together with the SPA

Excellent structure for families with children and teenagers. Close to the beach about 500m. Our room overlooked the garden and was very comfortable

The pool was very hot and deep it was 2 meters deep you couldn’t stand there except for the part were the pool was 1. 30 meters deep but there were all the children and the animation

The animation was every night very loud and the boxes with music were on until 23:00. The restaurant at the residence is good lovely people. This is a good place to go for small children who don’t need much

Could not believe that you could go to the pool at 11am and be the only ones there - not a towel in site! Great size pool, but no jumping in, diving, playing ball or inflatables - just lovely to swim about and relax in (swimming hats not required)

We had a great time in Baia Verde. We loved the premises and the proximity to the beach. The beach is beautiful and the sunsets amazing. The hotel offers a variety of activities for little and older children

The only annoying thing is that so called "disco" that was not updated since 2008. Same tracks repeat each and every day. Very noisy "dj" that talks to the music incredibly loudly

Rooms clean, towels changed every day, room situated on seaview. Weather was fine but there's considerable humidity in the evening, rest of the day is fine

Don’t really understand those negative comments here. Everything was great, staff, food, room has been cleaned everyday! Nice beach, 10 minutes walk from the city with shops and restaurants

Good food with lot of tasty meals. If you don't want to walking across more than two stairs this might be problem especially for people who are not fit. But everything else is perfect

Large Resort with spacious, modern and beautiful rooms with balcony. Superb and vast swimming pool, so big that it never feels crowded. Great buffet food, excellent quality and abundant

Fortunately, at the pool bar there is an exceptional Barman: SIMONE who still knows how to make, even with only the products at his disposal, excellent proposals for customers who know how to distinguish and appreciate what they drink

The beach is a stone's throw away, but not sloping and therefore not suitable for the many children present. Too bad that the rough but clean sea did not allow swimming often

There are many bars, and the service is good, but they lack some products that are indispensable for me in a quality bar, for example the MARTINI DRY which allows you to make the most famous cocktails, and also lack of various fruit juices and more

Good entertainment mostly for Italian speaking public. The beach is also good - small golden sand with umbrellas and a bar. The sea is clean and transparent and goes deep quite rapidly

Good kitchen beautifull sea effective staff Negative : overpriced (not really a 4 star). Too many rules on the beach (guarded by watch man ). Nothing of particular negative but for this price you can have much more

I will not return a second time

The pool was excellent and the resort was very family orientated. There were a lot of children and families having a good time. There was entertainment every night and a range of different singers

What a wonderful place to stay, we were upgraded to room 3120, which was lovely, on the ground floor, double aspect windows with French doors opening out to a large balcony. It was spotless and the service was impeccable

You also got a free bottle of water daily. All the staff at the hotel were helpful and courteous and friendly

There is a private beach that belongs to the hotel, it is a 10 min walk away or you can get a buggy which is constantly running

We ate a couple of times at the hotel, the first night we went to the pizza restaurant, which was a fun experience as you get to try lots of different pizzas

The sunbeds and towels at the beach are free, except for the 2 front rows and there is a café there for drinks etc

The price for such a good quality is just unbeatable. The holiday village is unique, beautiful. Room service, food, staff in general 5*

Little bit improvement in english communication would be nice but it has also big plus, motivation to learn the basics of italian

Swimming pool - salty water ( see water ) , out of date , no safety walking around swimming pool , loose cheap plastic around swimming pool caused my husband to have a big fall and injured his knees and hands, luckily he didn’t break a bone

Dinners are great- big selection of pasta, apetizers, hot meats and fish and yummy desserts. Wines are slightly overpriced but still affordable. Breakfasts- selection was slightly limited comparing to dinners

I highly recommend the mini club. Our daughter loved the staff and the mini disco in the evenings. Ester, Mattia, and Enrico made this event very enjoyable. They are very professional, friendly, and funny

Restaurants are nice, 40 min to Olbia and 2 hours to Cala Gonone. The beach hotel is ok, but no so beautiful as other beaches of Sardinia. The good thing is that beach is almost private for hotel guest

We choose early season (last week of May) when air temp is in mid 20C and water pleasant enough to swimm. and prices are much lower than in high season. We love this place for many reason

My wife and I have just come back from our 9-nights stay in Grande Baia. It was our 3rd stay in this hotel(previously in 2024 and 2025). and we're already planning to come back in 2026

They did not look attractive! We were on vacation with my wife, without children. The hotel is considered a family hotel, but I do not think so

We were in Baia di Conte end July-beginning of August 2025 for 2 weeks. I think it deserves a bit of a more accurate review to really explain what is good and what less of this place

They work long hours, they have to deal with problems the did not create, they have to deal with so many rude and impossible clients (see the bartender beaten up because he was asking a 15 yo to show which bracelet he had- that determine which type of all-inclusive you have the right to

We did some requests during the booking (adjacent rooms, we were 3 families, and we asked not to be on the ground floor), we did the booking in February for July, and even so basically none of our requests was granted

We tried to book directly with the hotel, but our booking in some way was handled half by Futura and half by the hotel

The problem most likely is the poor communication between Futura headoffice and the hotel, and we understood this happens often, with the result that the hotel staff has to deal with it

Hello, I just returned from the hotel La Plage Noire hotel. I would like to highlight the good and bad sides of this hotel. + Animations! All the time something happens! And the animators are very happy

Beautiful swimming pool great place for families in the evening here near there almost nothing (lean period)but we are happy with the dell animation inside of a resort, which despite the lack of customers, entertains both children and adults

The animation is always very active and engaging, every service they provide is in one way or another fun

There’s something to do every evening after dinner, entertainment is always on point, and speaking of dinner, the food is great! A little average in variety but good overall, you always find something, plus the pizza and bruschette are really, really good! If you happen to find bugs flying around, keep in mind it’s because of the heat and location, they’re not too many and are harmless

There was a year where I was left disappointed by the poor service, but animators change every year and it’s veeery rare that you catch mediocre ones, and even so, it’s gonna be one or two, you always find someone fun

To be honest I stayed 6nights here & now it’s gone so fast. all staff was amazing, food was good, beach was lovely !!! Some small issues was there, need to improve rooms & meals could be with english titles too

Lovely holiday, great pools, plenty of sunbeds, close to beach, walk to quiet beach or train to busier part. Lovely food great choice and variety. Animation staff provide plenty of entertainment all day long

The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the buffet meals are tasty with plenty of variety. The staff (animation) is friendly and always ready to help, making guests feel welcome and well taken care of

The bar and restaurant staff were simply fantastic – always friendly, professional, and ready to make every guest feel special. But the real magic comes from the animation team, who truly made our holiday unforgettable

Santagiosta is a village suitable for families with children of all ages. The kitchen is more than good, but all the staff, from the lifeguards to the waiters to the entertainment establishments, deserve attention

Always at the top of animation, they managed, with all the difficulties of the period, to maintain the usual expected level in this structure

Aigo is always a unique resource that, with maximum attention to children, manages to make holidays fun and parents' holidays enjoyable

I hesitated about the animation before leaving, I completely changed my mind because there are guys in this structure who work very well and try their best to participate without being intrusive

The structure was able not only to offer the usual service, but also to take the opportunity to improve it by providing the opportunity to appoint tables and umbrellas, a buffet restaurant that was served with dishes of excellent quality in previous years and was completely reorganized to supplant the flow of guests on several islands differs in type flow

The breakfast has so few options of protein and many sweet and pastries. The pool area is so nice and big with a beautiful view over the sea. No food is served on the pool, only drinks. There is a dress code for dinner

Pool area is beautiful and big (including a small private beach) and, at least at the start of September, it felt half empty all the time so you could pretty much choose where ever you want to be

I would offer the suggestion of a paint and linen update for the rooms. Our room was always clean but a bit outdated. The pools and grounds were phenomenal! We enjoyed our stay and will return

We didn't try the dinner as there were cheaper options in the town, but the pool bar and piano bar snacks were also very good

Not much to do on site except for pool or sports facilities (which is an extra cost). There was a great minibus service to and from the hotel to the White Beach. Overall I would give this hotel a 3

Rent a car! You must rent a car to get around or you will be paying a fortune to get around places. You can rent a car from the hotel (which we did). Spa was great which was included in the price too

Stayed at this hotel as a week break away with two of my mates! Rooms were spacious and clean. We only had Bed and Breakfast. It wasn’t that great for 25 euros each (not including drinks)

The rooms are tired, but the grounds are awesome. The food is of the same type (On the third day, tired). From the hotel runs a Shuttle to the beach and to Olbia.

Plenty of other restaurants on site though. We tried a pizzeria! Excellent food there! Friendly and helpful stuff there. Receptionists where not all that helpful

Had rude neighbours, which would moan about you getting up during the night to go to the toilet. The location was 3 miles from the town centre

This hotel is very well appointed and the evening meals and swimming pool area is very good. It is in a remote area of Sardinia which has limited external facilities (shops etc)

You couldn’t ask for more here!! People have complained about the fact that you have to pay for sunbeds on the beach and the towels are €3 but that really isn’t an issue and there is so much to do nearby and so many beautiful beaches to visit that you don’t really need to stay here all the time and the poolside ones are free

Plus, there is a really well equip inside gym, crazy golf and tennis courts with free equipment rental too

Absolutely beautiful hotel, clean and comfortable with fantastic facilities

The costs of food and drink was relatively high and there were limited services within the hotel with regard to English guests interaction and information but for a quiet holiday in a beautiful hotel with reasonable food it is a good choice

Location was decent as we were right next to a beach, there was a bus station right outside and another to Cagliari down the road. We weren’t far from Chia beaches and Cagliari was an hour bus drive which was ok

Even the very kind gardener Alessandro accompanied us to the rooms. The food has always been fresh and tasty. At the pool bar Roberta and the always kind guys are available

We stayed 10 days at Club Esse Gallura Beach using the all inclusive package and had a great time. Beautiful structure surrounded by greenery and with a wonderful sea view

Comfortable and always clean rooms, excellent restaurant service with a wide choice for breakfast, lunch and dinner. (I would only improve the hot drinks machine)

Our room had a terrace and we were able to see the pool and beach as well as the mountain. On the terrace we got to see some amazing sunsets. The breakfast was great and the staff was friendly

All the staff was super friendly starting from the smiley gardener who educate about the plants in the garden, till all the receptionists who are so lovely souls

There were so many little disappointments: the coffee machine at the beach bar not working one day, no milk to make cappuccinos at the other beach bar another day, no tomato sauce to make pizzas at the on-site pizzeria the next day

There was a 15 minute queue for coffee every day. The on-site restaurants were overpriced. The children's entertainment was poorly prepared. My son said after an hour that it was boring and did not want to participate

There was not a single socket in the conference room and reception area. This could be solved somehow, for example by organising an extension cord, but the promised technician never showed up

When we asked why, they said they were closing for the winter, but the hotel was still open and we were guests there. The breakfast was the same for all ten days of our stay

there was no internet and reception in our room. The staff locked the table tennis table in a storage room so we could not use it

Also, there were no other children who wanted to join the activities. When we asked about archery activities (which they advertised), the staff said 'not available'
