I'd upgrade the toiletries as they were very average for a 5* resort and a hair dryer was something you'd find in a 3* hotel. A stunning resort with a beautiful private beach, courts for tennis, volleyball and padel, and swimming pool. The restaurants at this resort were excellent and the room service was top notch. Overall, the experience and ambiance were perfect, and didn’t make us feel like we missed out on seeing the rest of Sardinia.

Beautiful newly renovated resort with spectacular rooms and amenities. Pool, gym, and bar all exceptional. Similar to other reviews written around this time, the hotel does feel just slightly understaffed. However, it hasn’t taken away from our experience. The rooms are clean, modern, and very quiet. Loved the pool and had a great view of the ocean, a bit out of the way but we didn’t mind walking into town. The hotel is a bit older, so the interiors aren’t as modern as you’d expect from a 5 star hotel.

A perfect selection for foreign trackers to Alghero who enjoy high end hotels without being overly pretentious. The too S are comfortable however the beds are terrible firm and should all be outfitted with memory foam covers. They also sit a bit low to the ground but people in Europe tend to be shorter in general. The breakfast buffet was great with many options.

Everybody is super polite. Hotel is super clean and it has a very good beach. Hotel is very suitable for families with kids. Food is tasty but options are usually same and repetitive. I recommend not to purchase the half board option. I do not think it makes a difference yo purchase it in advance.

My wife and I stayed there three nights in late September. Fantastic Hotel and resort with great food and drink. Our room had an ocean view and the room was very very nice. Nothing to complain about, loved it all and would definitely go back again.

The Falkensteiner is definitely an upscale resort. We enjoyed our stay. Given the price point, the resort should have provided as much free water as guests needed/wanted, not just 1 bottle a day.

We had a fantastic stay and Marcello was a brilliant waiter! He was kind, helpful and very prompt. He has a brilliant sense of humour and really made our stay all the more enjoyable! The hotel was gorgeous, but we stayed right at the beginning of the season and more than 50% of it wasn’t open yet. Very quaint property in an isolated area. This is not a hotel. These are private small villas and there is no reception or staff on site. Keys in lock box and no frills. Clean and in nice condition. I have been going to Porto Cervo every year for the past five years. I have stayed at Pitrizza Hotel, Romazzino Hotel, and Cala di Volpe. We stayed at Cala di Volpe three times. The food, service, and staff of the hotel are very good. You reach the beach by boat service, which is a bit of a handicap. Incredible setting and the staff cannot do enough for you. The breakfast is incredibly good. The pool is lovely and the sea and scenery out the back is absolutely amazing. Very well equipped gym.

We had a great stay. The place is wonderful, calm, the beach is beautiful and the staff are very attentive! The restaurant is very good (especially the one upstairs) it's a shame that the one at the bar isn't as good! €30 for a Caesar salad that isn't worth it, it's disappointing! We of course recommend the place which is magnificent
