Staying here as a transit point to Syracuse and Taormina, the hotel is conveniently located near various attractions and shopping streets, though a bit far from the train station. There's a bus stop right outside, but you need to buy your tickets in advance at the tobacco shop. There's also a convenient airport bus stop where you can buy tickets on board.
The front desk staff were very friendly, welcoming, and patient. The breakfast was also delicious. The rooms were relatively spacious.
Catania is a major city in Sicily, and besides using it as a transit point, you could easily stay a few more days to explore the area; the shopping streets are packed with shops.

It is recommended not to come to this city, the streets are dirty and the hotel rooms are the only clean places in the city. The room was very big and it was the only 4-star hotel I stayed in Italy that provided disposable slippers, and they were of very good quality. I stayed in 16 4-star hotels in Italy in one month.
The heating was just not enough, it was only 11 degrees at night in early April. Not much choice for breakfast but the coffee was good. Eating out is pretty cheap anyway. I will never come back to this city but this hotel is a haven

The hotel does not have free parking, and you need to pay to park in a nearby commercial parking lot. The description of the Ctrip booking that there is a parking lot is misleading.

Good hotel with excellent price

The hotel is well located 20 mins walk from the old town square but next to everything.
It is in renovation partially so the gym wasn't open and the lobby is diminished.
The breakfast although rich and tasty was not replenished and advertised until 12h on sundays but half empty by 10h so it was such a bummer knowing that we paid extra for that.
So all in all feels like a 4 stars but still in progress and for the high price we paid we would have expected more.

Everything was incredible. I was in touch with the host even before my trip and she was the most helpful person I have ever come across. from arranging transfers to and from the airport, to booking a tour of mount etna. She asked how the trip was going throughout the whole stay and asked if I needed anything. she provided some incredible recommendations and made my stay perfect! The property is also incredible in a really excellent location, the balcony is amazing to relax in and the room was very very modern.
I only have Nice words to say about Giusi, she is welcoming, helpful and I’ve never come across a host like her!
