Very central, good value for money, modern, functional, comfortable beds, and professional, welcoming staff. A special shout-out to Antonio, who takes care of the restaurant with dedication and kindness and offers much-needed advice.

Nice stay in modern very clean rooms. First floor room 016 was very quiet and spacious. No extra seating though. Breakfast is very good. Sicilian pastries and good italian coffees. Self service American coffee for those that miss the weaker variety. Antonio and Frederica were extremely helpful and attentive hosts. Heard about rougher areas nearby but feels safe if you stay in the touristy parts near via Etna

Great hotel! Antonio, the bar manager makes the best Negroni cocktails! Our group had so much fun in the bar lounge area and Antonio was very professional and accommodating.

The hotel is a good choice for a short stay. The room is large, the bed is comfortable, service staff is friendly. The downside is that, even the hotel is located in a convenient location, it's too close to some run-down neighborhoods. I suggest the hotel staff provide guidance to the guests on areas to avoid.

Our stay in Catania was great. The hotel manager went above and beyond helping us on multiple occasions.
The area and views from the hotel were less than scenic but a short walk away was the dining, shopping, and historic areas. It was a little unnerving to find the hotel lobby door was locked on the inside so we could not exit without the desk clerk and his key when leaving early.

Booked this room for one night for my children arriving to join a family vacation. Area is riddled with prostitutes. No parking. Unsafe to walk in evenings as single females. Very basic room. Clean. Air conditioning. Would suggest you research other locations especially if you wish to stay longer than a quick overnight.

Romano House was an excellent experience, great hotel. Service was great, Very chic bar and Antonio was a super host. Took care of us twice and even saw us at breakfast, very helpful. And the breakfast was loaded with fantastic collection of foods to delight any pallet. Highly recommend this hotel and also very close to the airport.

Barman Antonio was amazing! He made great cocktails and served delicious snacks. Very friendly and attentive service. Highly recommend! There was also a great Happy Hour offer, all cocktails for just €5
