Active Hotel Paradiso in Peschiera del Garda

I've been there three times. It's a great hotel with a shuttle to the village and breakfast on the sun terrace. It's perfect for golfers and also serves as a base for excursions. There's a quiet pool and even various restaurants and fitness centers throughout the property. The top-notch features and price are just right.

The golfcourse was in perfect condition. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Especially the friendly reception of Antonio & co and the delucious food in the Il Pirlar restaurant.

The hotel is nice but not 4 star There is a central reception for all the hotels on the complex and then there is a 15 minute walk to your actual hotel so travel light The room was very spacious but dark and in need of an upgrade to the decor..tea & coffee and water a nice touch but the bathroom has a jacuzzi bath which was so high to get into and the shower over the bath was ridiculous…it’s in the middle of the bath and the whole room gets wet as the shower screen is in completely the wrong place …. The pools are nice but seem quite neglected in comparison to the golf areas ..definitely need re tiling in some areas and cleaning more regularly The restaurant was lovely apart from the fact dogs are allowed …in fact there are loads of dogs all over the site including the pool area which is very off putting for guests ( lots of barking and dogs off leads ) The staff are excellent but when there are events I feel they struggled to cope …The food was excellent and lots of choice of a high standard but half board customers do have a different menu to other guests …and it would be nicer if the menu was more blended The shuttle bus is a must as it’s about 15 to 20 euros for a taxi in to Peschiera del Garda as the hotel isn’t on the Lake but the first two buses each day go to the rail station but there are no buses between 12 and 4 pm

The room was very affordable in the off-season. The door lock of the room I booked had a problem, so I was moved to another room that felt more upscale. So, the price/performance ratio may not be representative.
Golf course, tennis court, football field, everything is available, and Lake Garda is just a stone's throw away.

The environment is very good, the golf course, the room is large, it is a suite, but the sound insulation is not good.

My husband and I stayed here for a week. I would say that there were good points and some not so much. On booking this hotel we didn’t realise it was a ‘complex’ (similar to but not quite centerparcs). We had a junior suite which was spacious, with high ceilings, a terrace and a dressing room. Plenty of seating. The bathroom was ok but not 4*. We struggled to get the aircon working and when asked was told we needed to ask for it to be switched on. The pools, wellness and gym are very tired with some areas not working. A bit of work all these could be lovely. We were half board and I must say this was the best part. Maximiliano, Anthonio and Adrian were so friendly and helpful. As usual with Italian food there was so much of it but it was all delicious. We enjoyed a bottle of wine too every night. We did have a mini bar in the room but found it strange when we were asked what we’d had at the end of our stay! The hotel is a bit out of Peschiera but the hotel shuttle bus was spot on! We also hired bikes locally. They were delivered to the hotel and were very safely stored outside. The river is only 2km away and has safe riding.

This hotel is gorgeous and has beautiful views of the golf course. Breakfast was a good selection and service was great! The selling point for us was how convenient the shuttle bus is. It runs every hour in and out of town which saved us a lot in taxi fares. 4/5 for cleanliness due to finding a few ants in the bed but, to be honest, this is expected in a ground floor apartment in July so we didn't mention it to staff. Other than that all clean and well presented.

Great find, bus slightly out of town but run free shuttles. Really enjoyed our stay. Our room was big and comfortable, breakfast was great. Grounds of the hotel and how they are kept are superb... Access to all pools across all the various establishment under the parc hotel complex. Don't have a negative thing to say, would love to come back
