Appartamento Acero Rosso in Vicenza

The hotel is located about 15 minutes drive from the centre of Vicenza. I attended a class reunion there and it was perfect for a group visit. The building is nondescript and functional and the grounds are pleasant with a nice swimming pool and a spa. The room was large and comfortable enough. The buffet breakfast and the food in general were excellent. The price was quite reasonable and the staff very helpful. This is a good place to stay if you are in a group but is not convenient if you wish to be close to town.

I struggled with this review for Hotel Viest for quite a while. The room was a great disappointment, but the service was incredible. The Service Team at Hotel Viest is the only reason why I decided not to give a Single star on this review.

The room was sold as a family room. It ended up being the same room as any other, just with 5 beds in a row. Three king bed ended up just being two twin beds with a king size sheet over it. We turned on the AC the second night and water poured down on our luggage all night. The staff quickly bright us towels and got a tech in the morning to fix it. The shower in the bathroom didn't seal so water flooded everywhere. Lastly, the furniture in the room was quite worn and looked like it might break.

As mentioned previously, the staff was amazing. The cleaning team made the room look sparklingly every time. Every time they made up the bed, they would perfectly place my children's stuffed animals on each of their beds. Towels swapped every day and bathroom cleaned perfectly. The restaurant food was always good. The servers would stop and talk with us each time we went down to eat. They made us feel welcomed and comfortable. In fact, after a few days, they always had a place for us set up in the dining area. Lastly, when we prepared to leave, we notified the front desk. The night crew made us breakfast bags so that we would have something for the road. We are very grateful for their service.
