The stay was really good and the only downside was the location as it is situated at the bottom mid hill. The steep slope gave some fear factor that the car not being able to handle it. We had a lovely stay at Himalaya Sea. We only stayed one night but wished we could have stayed longer. Incredibly clean, spacious and comfortable rooms, amazing sea views, a nice little pool for cooling off in, as well as private and shared Onsen. Love that it faces the ocean. Rooms are decently big and location is not far from train station. It's not cheap as we paid 43,600 yen for a room with private, partially outdoor bath, Kiseki dinner and breakfast for 2 pax. Also has free coffee and tea. Coming from someone who knows barely how to say hello in Japanese, this has been a great experience made even better by the staff. So helpful and attentive. So detailed with options regarding dinner and breakfast time. Made it easy to relax and know when to head down to dinner which was just sooo good. The most beautiful hotel I've ever stayed in in Japan, even though the price was probably a quarter or a fifth of other hotels I've booked. The room was incredibly spacious, with both tatami mats and beds. It was practically a small villa, complete with a private onsen (hot spring). It's a bit of a walk from the station, so be careful. I was extremely satisfied!

Need to drive to reach this place. It’s a chalet style room, spacious for 5 pax. Clean and quiet. Behind the hotel, you can walk 5 min trail to reach beautiful coastline with amazing rock formations.

We stayed in cabin number 4, with a view of the forest, and it was very pleasant to sleep in the rain. It felt like wilderness! It's truly Japan, completely different from the urban spaces.
