◆Facilities
A theater-style hall spacious enough for 300 people
Karaoke, game center, dance hall, pool, fishing pond
The game center had cabinets from 20 years ago
The souvenir shop sold Hatoya merchandise alongside local specialties. The lobby has a gachapon machine with miniature Hatoya goods (¥300 per play). The doors lack sensors, close extremely fast, and show no mercy
You must hold the open button down or risk getting pinched while boarding/exiting. ◆Staff
Staff varied in age and nationality. Older staff seemed relatively common? Followed by Southeast Asian staff
While the water quality prevents you from getting chilled afterward and you can stroll around in your yukata, it's difficult to use the baths multiple times while resting in your room. ・The elevators are old-fashioned
I didn't notice any unpleasant odors. After the banquet, I soaked in the hot spring, crawled into the futon, and fell asleep instantly. When I vaguely woke up, only four hours had passed
Since we were a group, we didn't interact much personally, but their efficiency and coordination handling a banquet for 300 people was impressive. ◆Drawbacks

The hotel has a great view, overlooking the sea, and features a golf course, a large lawn, a swimming pool, and a clean hot spring with pleasant air. It's a very nice hotel.
First-line sea view room, good service attitude, breakfast is available in Western and Japanese! The hot spring pool has good water quality and elegant environment! The 9-hole sea view golf course is a good choice for business and leisure!
The hotel rooms are clean and tidy. In addition to the sea view, the large lawn and swimming pool are also good, leisurely and comfortable.
I couldn't see the hallways as they were being renovated, but the lobby was wonderful and the open-air bath overlooking the Izu sea was the best. Unfortunately, the main dining room was also under renovation
The hotel environment is fantastic, with vast lawns and the sea right outside. The outdoor hot springs offer views of the sea and the moon, and the hot springs are amazing. The facilities are also excellent
A century-old hotel with charming scenery, coupled with the blessing of Fuji Golf Course, one of the top 100 golf courses in the world, it is a legendary experience.

Facilities: The hotel is new and has a large hot spring, exceeding expectations for a hot spring experience. Cleanliness: Very clean, and the rooms are spacious
very nice. we had fun swimming in the pool, taking a hot spring bath on observertory floor ,having delicious foods! Very clean and calm.
My parents and I stayed in a Japanese-Western style room, which was spacious and relaxing. The large public bath was large enough, but it was quite crowded in the morning
The hotel is a bit far from the train station. It takes more than ten minutes to walk, and you can transfer to the bus for about 200 ¥ and you can reach the nearby area in a few minutes
The room is much bigger than I thought. The facilities are very complete but I didn't have time to experience them. It is suitable for a leisurely vacation.
Karaoke room, small game room, laundry, drying, etc. The breakfast buffet is rich and varied, with unlimited supply of milk, tofu, natto and fried fish

There was no parking fee, and the receptionist came to the parking lot to greet us. Check-in was also smooth and we were very satisfied. The toilet and bathroom were separate, and the room was spacious and comfortable
Steak, grilled turban, sushi, tempura, various hot dishes, etc. There are many types of buffet and good content
An older hot spring hotel with a sense of age, but the facilities are well maintained. It includes breakfast and dinner buffets and free drinks. It has a good value for money
Most of the guests are elderly Japanese people
The room is large, and it's within a 10-minute walk from Riyi East Railway Station, so transportation is convenient. Dinner is quite rich, breakfast is just average. Overall good value for money.
I don't want to tell you too much, but as far as the cospa is concerned, it is an excellent facility that is superior to the neighboring I*en Group buildings

In the room there are towels, yukata robes, some hygiene supplies except teeth brushes because the hotel tries to reduce plastic wastes. The hotel gifted a set for face and tea for a booking on a particular website
A truly wonderful experience for me and my friends. The onsen facilities are top-notch, especially the outdoor bath where you can enjoy the warm mineral water in the cold weather
Rooms are huge and clean! Great service where they helped to push our luggage to the room. Car park is one min walking distance away. Some food options within walking distance.
The room was incredibly spacious, which is a real rarity in Japan. Having a private indoor onsen was super convenient; we didn't have to use the public baths at all. It's also not too far from Ito Station
Extremely satisfied! There was also a Chinese-speaking lady at the front desk, which made communication very convenient. Definitely worth staying here.
Having a private onsen in our room made our stay even more special. The hotel is very private and peaceful. Highly recommended, and thanks to Trip

Also, the parking lot is small and only one car can be parked per room. I would like them to improve this
Our family of six shared a room. The room consisted of two bedrooms and a tatami room where we slept on futons. However, the living room was unnecessarily spacious, and I think 30 tatami mats was more than enough
However, the room size and practicality more than make up for it. It's so spacious you'd wonder how much it would rent for in Tokyo. The kitchen, microwave, and refrigerator are all family-sized
We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the apartment and it is clean and comfortable. The hotel staff are all friendly especially Ms Lee, who speaks English very well
The room was spacious and I was able to relax. The food buffet was not enjoyed at all because even though the food had run out, it was not replenished

The hot spring bath on the sixth floor was absolutely amazing, and we even got to try out some cosplay, haha! Since the hotel is located on a mountain, they also offer a shuttle service to and from the station, which is a really nice touch
Our first experience staying at a traditional hotel was a success! The room with its own outdoor hot spring exceeded expectations. Dinner and breakfast were amazing and varied. The staff was polite and friendly.
I'd recommend staying one night, but not multiple days in a row
(You might be able to get the key a bit earlier depending on availability. ) The cost is about 1680 JPY, which is quite reasonable. Prices for additional drinks, meals, and SPA services are also within a sensible range
The hotel facilities are excellent and the service is great. The location is a bit out of the way, and the shuttle bus schedule is quite limited. Also, the nightly menu rotation is rather uninspired
Although there were multiple communications with the hotel regarding dining arrangements due to an issue with the intermediary agent, the overall performance of the hotel was truly delightful

The hotel is located near Izu Station in Takahara and offers a shuttle service, but advance notice is required. The hotel's management, environment, service quality, and dining are all commensurate with the room rate
Most importantly, he was loving; he even adjusted the menu for my child, replacing dishes like sashimi with more child-friendly options. Any dish they enjoyed was recreated the next day, but prepared differently
Very satisfied with the room, it was huge! All the toiletries were Bulgari, and the service was excellent. However, soaking in the outdoor hot spring in the summer was basically just feeding the mosquitoes
The room was spacious and the hot spring was very comfortable; the complimentary socks were a nice touch. Both the French and Japanese cuisine became more refined each day
Don't book a room on the first floor; the musty smell was overwhelming and wouldn't dissipate even with the windows open
The chef was great, skillfully using fresh local ingredients, had excellent taste, and presented the food beautifully

There's a shuttle bus service from the station. The hotel is located on a hill, offering panoramic sea views. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The buffet dinner and breakfast are delicious
I visited with my family and took my 89-year-old mother, who has some mobility issues
I thought the hospitality of the hotel staff was wonderful. Both staff members offered to take photos for me, and everyone greeted me with a smile at the buffet, so I was able to spend a very pleasant time
Hotel setup is modern with spacious room and western beds. There are several options for hot baths. Dinner and breakfast are both buffet style which offered great selections
We had contacted them in advance, so they provided a wheelchair, and since it was raining, they also provided a covered parking space, which was very helpful
In addition to the hot springs, there was a wide variety of food, and I was surprised that my mother, who usually has a small appetite, ate so much

At first, the setting is 28 degrees, and I think 20 degrees is fine. The cottage has a high ceiling, but there are steps in the living room and bedroom. Supper was from 17:45 to 17:45 every 15 minutes
The restaurant was almost full, but I brought some food and food. The horse mackerel sashimi was delicious. The hot springs go after getting the locker key at the front desk. You can't store your clothes without the key
Freshly baked bread is delicious for breakfast. It was sunny on the day I stayed, so there was no problem, but if it rains, it seems to be difficult to go back and forth between the bath and meals
The cottage room is larger than the hotel room. It's ideal for families, as small children can be noisy. The hot springs are also flowing, which is nice.
The umbrella was in the cottage

The hotel facilities are a bit dated, with only one bathing pool; it's hardly a hot springs hotel. Because it's located on a mountain, we recommend booking a room with dinner included
It was pretty good!
However, there is a mountain path to get there at night, so just be careful. The old building has been slightly renovated, so some things have an old feel to them. Tokai Bus currently has few routes
The location is a bit remote, on the mountain, but there is a parking lot. It is highly recommended for friends who drive by themselves. Although the setting is relatively old, it is cheap, clean, and very quiet
The hotel is aged but the price was bargain when we booked. The rooms are very spacious but again the furnishings does shows history, it’s still clean nevertheless
There is a golf course downstairs, which can provide golf entertainment. The hotel also has hot springs for soaking
This is my third time staying here for work. I know it's not fair to compare them, but compared to modern business hotels, this hotel feels outdated. I was satisfied with the food, the large public bath, and the location

Extremely hospitable for foreigners. Service is first class. Dinner is very well executed from the aesthetic stand point.
Very nice onsen. Room has some stains, outdated bathrooms that had persistent lingering odors. Too pricey for what it was and the location honestly, but the hotel itself was decent.
Comfortable hotel to stay in Ito. Just next to the supermarket so that grocery shopping can be very easy.
The room is large and clean without any odd smell.
The staff is extremely polite and patient.
The breakfast is stunning, strongly recommend to give it a try.
Pretty good experience, but the parking cost 1000yen per night

❤️ Our names were written on the shoe cabinet beforehand, and also on the board by the entrance. ❤️ There are hot springs on the 2nd and 4th floors. The pools are a bit small, but super clean
There was a Chinese introduction available, and while I pointed out a few typos to the staff hoping for future corrections, it wasn't a major issue. The typical Japanese bedding was very clean
💙 The hotel itself was a bit cold inside, and the facilities weren't very numerous or comprehensive; it's more of an older-style onsen hotel. 🧡 The room had a toilet, which was mini but clean
The area isn't huge, but with fewer people this season, it was very relaxing. On the second floor, there's a common area where you can enjoy tea, chat, do some light exercise, or read manga
Tatami mats, sliding doors, a tea table – it had it all, and the room was very clean and quite spacious. I loved the designated spot for shoes right at the entrance
They even wiped down my suitcase upon entry, which was a nice touch. It was a really great experience, and I'd definitely choose this place again if I come back

What I did not know however, was that this reservation did not include any room cleaning services for the entire stay, no taking of garbage or towel replacement, no bed making, nothing at all
The hotel stated that I visited the front desk every day to get towels and never mentioned the need to clean the room
We went with a full family and dog. I could use a microwave but then I'm gaijin so different needs. Hot spring was clean but the water wasn't hot enough for me
I only came to the front dest 2 times during my stay, and this is because room cleaning staff entered my room on 2 occasions, so I was expecting them to clean or take out the trash, but they did nothing and left
I stayed at Izu Ippeki Lake Lakeside Terrace for 5 nights booking though Trip. Be warned that problems may occur when booking through travel websites such as this one. I booked a standard room with no meals
My recent stay was at the beginning of August, WHEN THE STATE OF EMERGENCY AND COVID RESTRICTIONS HAD BEEN LIFTED. It is no longer standard practice to exclude cleaning services at hotels in Japan

I would love to thank the male manager who was super polite and friendly, who greeted us warmly and waved goodbye with other staff together until our car disappears in their sight
This hotel has a unique inclined elevator, like a mountain cable car, which is something you don't see in many places
There are also foot massage machines next to the lobby on the first floor, so you might want to give them a try if you have the chance
However, it’s not really suitable for a honeymoon, as my husband and I were separated the whole time — there are no mixed onsens for men and women, probably because the place is now mostly visited by foreigners
Best Japan experience in this vacation, hot springs, three types of them(!), traditional food and clothers, service for all 5 stars. I can only advice to stay here for at least two nights!!!
This spot became popular on a Russian platform, so there are many tourists from Russia ( me as well). When I visited the onsen, there were seven people in total - all Russian girls

My stay at Hanafubuki was nothing short of wonderful. The staff was accommodating and nice, and the food, while not catered to a western palate, was excellent and interesting. The hot springs themselves were amazing
Amazing ryokan! Located conveniently close to the railway station it blends into local woods with its many small villas and paths. The room was nice and had our own balcony looking out to the woods
The rooms were more like a small traditional villa spread over the grounds and the springs are very private and open 24/7 though some are under rooms so be mindful of others above you when it comes to noise
If you are accustomed to Japanese portions, you might find this dinner too light. All in all, we enjoyed our stay in Hanafubuki ryokan and would love to come again!
We had their dinner which was not good ( and we tried many restaurants in Tokyo):
-Rise was overcooked
- fish medium quality and this morning still had the taste of one of the sashimi camping back up
- service lady not so open minded ( we asked for 2 children menus because my teenager sons skipped the not so great dishes but she brought a portion which in Europe would be for one and one of my sons...
Unbelievably tranquil and wonderful service. The hot springs were amazing to enjoy and trying the traditional food was lovely

I stayed here with my family on New Year's Eve. The view from the balcony was amazing, and the room was very clean. Breakfast was delivered to our room, and we enjoyed it at our leisure
The staff were so nice to pick us up and drop us off at Usami station. The hotel has a great pool, we really enjoyed swimming in. Our room was so big we felt like kings staying here, wrapped up in our robes
The stay was really good and the only downside was the location as it is situated at the bottom mid hill. The steep slope gave some fear factor that the car not being able to handle it
However, the service and extra miles by the host was really unforgettable. Providing full range of beverages and full breakfast by the sea
The scenery was amazing, it was beautiful, the facilities were solid, the pool and private open-air bath were amazing, the food was delicious, the owner and staff were kind, and we didn't want to leave! Thank you so much!

Such an amazing 2 night stay at this hotel that i. Every where they have Corona measures in place, with multiple items in the room being labeled as Sanitized. The restaurant meals were all so delicious
Great amenities and large public bath. Nice tea area in the room with ocean view. Also comes with a lot of free services including drinks at the lounge and free bowling at the nearby building
Got into a bit of a situation of not being able to have dinner since the only single non-reservation restaurant was completely full but the staff helped us make a last-minute reservation
The hotel was kind enough to let us move our dates. The trip was very relaxing, the food was more than what we expected for a breakfast buffet
The sights were stunning, I would urge everyone to book the private onsen for sure! There is a free shuttle bus going to and from the station so it is very convenient for foreigners

Ito Ryokuyu is a special place. We spent 3 nights in the Mikura room and could not be happier. The room was spacious and boasted of beautiful and traditional Japanese design from the tatami mats to the wood carvings
The private soup in the room is simply amazing! The room was equipped with a set of gifts of Sekkisei, as well as a small bag that matched the kimono, which repeatedly reminded us that we could take it away as a gift
If I could give 100 stars for service, I would. This place was exceptional, the staff are so incredibly nice and their attention to detail is unmatched. The food is incredible and the rooms are very authentic
There are a-lot of cute places to eat in walking distance but you should opt in for dinners at the ryoken. If you are planning a trip to Ito or even Hakone, this is an excellent place to stay
This was a really incredible stay! The staff was so welcoming, kind, and patient. Food was delicious and plentiful, and the baths were wonderfully relaxing
