Onsen is excellet. Food is great. Room is clean and specious. Everythins is perfect. If anything needs to be imporoved I would say pillow. It’s either too think or too thin.
The hotel is quite close to the station and even offers a shuttle bus. The interior has a charming, antique feel, reminiscent of the Edo period.
It's a very nice ryokan that is like a small village. The staff is continuously preparing little surprises outside the main house, and the service was impeccable and polite, even for us travelers with very limited Japanese knowledge. The food was great and plentiful. The onsens are divided into a gender-separated public section, three private onsens and if you booked, one small one at your room. There...
It has been an incredible experience!
Unfortunately, the day before arriving at this villa, I went through a rather unfortunate experience that left me deeply stressed. Therefore, my expectations upon arrival were high: I desperately needed to rest and disconnect.
…. I am very HAPPY to say with complete certainty that it exceeded all my expectations!
The villa is beautiful, and it’s evident that...
we stayed for 3 nights with breakfast and dinner. The food was fresh and yummy. The ryokan was surrounded by trees. The weather was good enough to see twinkle stars at night. If you were lucky, you could find squirrels at the treetops in the public onsen.
The hotel environment is superb, with lush greenery making it feel like a small, tranquil park. There's a great selection of hot springs, including private ones. If you plan your time well, you can try all of them even with just an overnight stay. After your hot spring bath, there's complimentary iced milk, and free ramen in the evening. There are also some Japanese folk games to experience, so you...

If I could give 100 stars for service, I would. This place was exceptional, the staff are so incredibly nice and their attention to detail is unmatched. The food is incredible and the rooms are very authentic. There are a-lot of cute places to eat in walking distance but you should opt in for dinners at the ryoken. If you are planning a trip to Ito or even Hakone, this is an excellent place to stay...
Ito Ryokuyu is a special place.
We spent 3 nights in the Mikura room and could not be happier. The room was spacious and boasted of beautiful and traditional Japanese design from the tatami mats to the wood carvings. The cute onsen was our first stop in the morning and our last in the evening every day, and left our skin glowing and minds relaxed.
The food was exceptional. We had dinner and breakfast...
Onsen hotel, we ordered with private bath, including breakfast and dinner. Got picked up at Ito station. The staff is so helpful, and serves dinner and breakfast in your room. A great experience. You should know some Japanese going here, as it increases the experience even further.
This was a really incredible stay! The staff was so welcoming, kind, and patient. Food was delicious and plentiful, and the baths were wonderfully relaxing. I had a great time in Ito, and I highly recommend Ito Ryokuyu for a refreshing and luxurious time!
We booked the Shikine room - a beautiful traditional Japanese-style tatami room with a private open-air hot spring bath, as well as in-room dinner and breakfast.
The service was excellent from start to finish: warm greetings, luggage assistance, room setup, and even pick-up and drop-off from the station. They even held umbrellas for us when it rained!
The traditional Japanese-style dinner and breakfast...
Highly recommended! You can tell how comfortable it is by looking at the photos. The private bath room is really good and you can go out to bathe at any time. The service is first-class. You must order two meals. It is very delicious. The transportation is also convenient. It is only 7-8 minutes walk from Yidongnan Station.

The hotel has a great view, overlooking the sea, and features a golf course, a large lawn, a swimming pool, and a clean hot spring with pleasant air. It's a very nice hotel.
The hotel environment is fantastic, with vast lawns and the sea right outside. The outdoor hot springs offer views of the sea and the moon, and the hot springs are amazing. The facilities are also excellent. The hotel's interior decor is a bit dated, but the rooms are quite spacious!

A century-old hotel with charming scenery, coupled with the blessing of Fuji Golf Course, one of the top 100 golf courses in the world, it is a legendary experience.
The hotel is great, with beautiful scenery and elegant environment. I played golf for two days and enjoyed it. The hotel has a long history and good service.
First-line sea view room, good service attitude, breakfast is available in Western and Japanese! The hot spring pool has good water quality and elegant environment! The 9-hole sea view golf course is a good choice for business and leisure!

Hot spring is nice and the restaurant is good
Staying at Komenoi is a great choice when visiting Mount Omuro. A taxi ride costs 2500 JPY, and it's 1600 JPY to Jogasaki Coast. The hotel has an onsen (hot spring bath) and a snack and drink bar for guests to enjoy. They also offer a shuttle service to and from Izu-Kogen Station. I'll definitely choose Komenoi again next time I come to see Mount Omuro with its matcha-like greenery.
Beautiful property and convenient to get to with a car.
Service was good and facilities wonderful.
Izu Kannon Onsen: The decor is modern, and the lobby has a self-service water bar with aesthetically pleasing coffee and fruit wine. The lobby directly faces the hotel's most stunning view, with an infinity pool reflecting the blue sky and white clouds, and the clear blue sea not far beyond, with faint glimpses of distant islands. The restaurant is on the third floor, offering sea views just like the...
A very pleasant stay. Love it!
The hotel's location is superb, with a beautiful view of the ocean and sunset right before your eyes. The all-day complimentary self-service drinks are fantastic. The hotel facilities are excellent and the service is great. The location is a bit out of the way, and the shuttle bus schedule is quite limited. Also, the nightly menu rotation is rather uninspired. I'd recommend staying one night, but not multiple days in a row.
Everything is great, onsens are nice, food is delicious and plenty. Staff is very welcoming, friendly and attentive. Room is beautiful.
Our first experience staying at a traditional hotel was a success! The room with its own outdoor hot spring exceeded expectations. Dinner and breakfast were amazing and varied. The staff was polite and friendly.
We were very satisfied with both the room and the service. I highly recommend booking a package that includes both breakfast and dinner to experience the full Japanese service. For families or couples, after checking in, you can use the in-room phone (dial 8) to reserve a 50-minute private family bath session with the front desk. (You might be able to get the key a bit earlier depending on availability...
Great stay. Lovely food and friendly staff. Onsen was also very relaxing
Although there were multiple communications with the hotel regarding dining arrangements due to an issue with the intermediary agent, the overall performance of the hotel was truly delightful. The hotel is located near Izu Station in Takahara and offers a shuttle service, but advance notice is required. The hotel's management, environment, service quality, and dining are all commensurate with the room rate. The service, in particular, is exceptionally high; the male Japanese staff and female ********* staff at the front desk were incredibly attentive and helpful! They left a deep impression...
The room was spacious and the hot spring was very comfortable; the complimentary socks were a nice touch. Both the French and Japanese cuisine became more refined each day. The 24-hour complimentary Häagen-Dazs ice cream was also a big plus.
Aside from the room, the service was excellent, especially in the restaurant. One of the staff members was a fantastic auntie who spoke good English and explained each dish meticulously and enthusiastically. The chef was great, skillfully using fresh local ingredients, had excellent taste, and presented the food beautifully. Most importantly, he was loving; he even adjusted the menu for my child, replacing...
Very satisfied with the room, it was huge! All the toiletries were Bulgari, and the service was excellent. However, soaking in the outdoor hot spring in the summer was basically just feeding the mosquitoes. The kaiseki dinner was a bit mediocre, a little disappointing.
Very good. There is a lady at the front desk who speaks Chinese. She is very considerate. The French and Japanese food are delicious.
I stayed on the first floor, and I could actually see little squirrels through the glass. The hotel is generally good, and there is unlimited ice cream. The only downside is that dinner took too long, about 2 hours.

The room received a low rating.
The size, cleanliness, and neatness of the room were fine, but there was a constant noise of feet stepping on the floor. The kitchen was next door, so it was unclear whether the sound was from employees or from the room above.
Also, light from the hallway filtered in through the shoji screen by the bed, preventing complete darkness when I went to bed and making my sleep...
The staff, the food, and the cleanliness of the hotel were all excellent.
The food was perfect, despite the fact that it's difficult to strictly adhere to the basic principles of "hot food should be hot" and "cold food should be cold." Of course, the menu and flavor were also satisfying. The entire hotel was perfectly clean, and it was great how the staff were always proactive and thoughtful about...
Two days and one night stay, Japanese-style room with two beds in the main building, with a semi-open-air bath, dinner and breakfast included, for two people. The hotel is a little hard to find. A warm and cozy Japanese onsen experience
Amazing staff, I still remember the warmth of their welcome and goodbye.
Experienced the cozy atmosphere in their traditional Japanese style building, every room/facility got a meaningful Japanese name.
Great view in private dining room.
Easily accessible, whether it’s by train or their shuttle service.
Private onsen is great.
Public onsen is a bit small....
The food was delicious. The facility was old but well maintained and clean. I stayed in a room with an open-air bath in the villa, but I couldn't sleep because of the noise of the hot water in the open-air bath.

My first time here at this very quaint and traditional ryokan onsen! Amazing hospitality service from the staff! Food was so good! And the outdoor private onsen was super relaxing! Our experience was not the least bit dampened by the rains! We will be back!
Beautiful view from outdoor spa.
The perfect getaway for a short vacation. The rooms are limited but it is definitely worth it. Each room comes with a private backyard and hot spring. To top it off, the view is amazing and overlooks the ocean.
The food and service was also amazing. A lot of food but it was too good to leave left overs. Few of the staff speak english as well so that was reassuring.
Amazing view of the ocean with a superb outdoor onsen. The food was plentiful. We liked the traditional style of the rooms.
It’s our most memorable trip for this fantastic hotel. We definitely will come back again ☺️

From welcoming us to seeing us off, we were treated with great care and consideration, which was very helpful.
The food was delicious and we were very satisfied, and the hot water in the private open-air bath and the open-air bath in our guest room was also very pleasant and relaxing.
We stayed at Shizuka on January 3rd and 4th.
Although the location is a little hard to find, the relaxing and quiet atmosphere and delicious food made for a truly relaxing getaway. I was also surprised to encounter wild squirrels on the terrace of my room and in the open-air bath.

There are only a few rooms, so there is a strong sense of privacy.
The hospitality of the staff and the food were very nice. The bath in the room was also very relaxing.
There were places where I could feel the oldness of the facility, but it was also a good atmosphere.
It has become an inn that I can't help but want to be taken care of again.
My boyfriend and I went on my birthday trip in March. The food, customer service, rooms, and hot springs are all top notch. As a 100-year-old old private house has been renovated, it is a wonderful room with a deep taste in the structure and rooms, and a harmonious interior imported from Europe. The best part was the open-air bath on the spacious wooden deck. A cute squirrel will also climb up ^ ^...
A hidden inn surrounded by nature. The room was clean and the open-air bath while listening to the chirping of birds was the best. All the dishes are very satisfying and the amount is sufficient. In addition, the room service and customer service were solid, and it was a wonderful inn with a perfect score in everything. Don't miss the Jogasaki coast. I want to go again.
This place is awesome. The food was great and the ambiance was soothing. We especially liked the noise of the birds, and watching the squirrels jump tree to tree from the private onsen in the room. Its a small hotel but we never saw any of the other guest. Very private.
