The facility is old, but it is clean. The lounge was nice and clean. I was happy to see a Refa hair dryer in the bathroom.

An older hot spring hotel with a sense of age, but the facilities are well maintained. It includes breakfast and dinner buffets and free drinks. It has a good value for money. Most of the guests are elderly Japanese people.

A truly wonderful experience for me and my friends. The onsen facilities are top-notch, especially the outdoor bath where you can enjoy the warm mineral water in the cold weather. Everything was pretty good. It was quiet and not too crowded, and there were plenty of great restaurants nearby. My only regret is not trying the soaking tub in the room because the wooden rim around the drain was visibly moldy, which put me off using it.

It's a great place to relax and enjoy with a small or large group. The midnight noodles were delicious! The illuminations were also a 10-minute drive away, so we enjoyed them.

This hotel is located in the Akasawa area, between Izu Kogen and the Izu Okawa River. You'll need to walk along a small road to get there, making it more suitable for those traveling by car. It’s a traditional style onsen hotel, the decoration is a bit too old compared to the photos of the official website though I think it has been renovated. The onsen was okay and didn’t look clean because of the old renovation. The toilet inside the room had a bad smell.

I can only say the scenery was decent and it was very cheap. However, the service attitude was quite average; I didn't really feel like I received much service. I heard the hot spring across the street is bigger and more comfortable, but I didn't have time to go.

The stay was really good and the only downside was the location as it is situated at the bottom mid hill. The steep slope gave some fear factor that the car not being able to handle it. We had a lovely stay at Himalaya Sea. We only stayed one night but wished we could have stayed longer. Incredibly clean, spacious and comfortable rooms, amazing sea views, a nice little pool for cooling off in, as well as private and shared Onsen. Great amenities and large public bath. Nice tea area in the room with ocean view. Also comes with a lot of free services including drinks at the lounge and free bowling at the nearby building. Got into a bit of a situation of not being able to have dinner since the only single non-reservation restaurant was completely full but the staff helped us make a last-minute reservation. The service here was actually problematic for a hot spring inn. They didn't even make up the futon beds for us. I had to call and ask them to, and even then, they didn't do it. They just opened the closet where the futons were stored, basically implying I should make the bed myself. The facilities are a bit old, but the location and views are great, and breakfast was good. I think the location is good, but it's not a very clean inn. There is dust and mold, and the wallpaper is peeling off. The paint on the walkway is peeling, and the smoking deck outside the front desk is warped and has holes in it. The water in the public bath was lukewarm and did not warm up at all due to the addition of too much water. No repairs have been made at all.
