Was upgraded to a huge 4 person suite because weather was acting up so I think people cancelled. But nonetheless was happy with the resort. Didn’t stay long (only one day) but would want to stay more for the ammenities (tennis courts and such). Location is not convenient for anything else to be honest, requires a taxi or a booked bus service to get to town.

Chill trip, location of hotel is excellent, red line bus stop is just outside the hotel. Also provides complimentary shuttle pick up from kawaguchiko station. Go to tourist info centre and request. Open air onsen operates till 12 mid night. Staff are very courteous and friendly too.

The hotel was awesome. We missed a bus to Kawaguchiko and called the hotel to ask if we could check in after 7 pm, and they had no problems with it, which we're really grateful for. Such a beautiful place with the warmest hospitality! I accidentally left my phone at the hotel after checking out today, and the owner was kind enough to drive all the way to the station to return it to me. I was deeply moved by this thoughtful gesture. I will definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit! Highly recommended.

Everything else was fine, and the location is right by Lake Kawaguchiko. The only thing I have to say is that they force you to pay a 150 JPY hot spring fee, whether you use it or not. There's no point in arguing about it, but this kind of mandatory charge feels a bit inappropriate, even if 150 JPY isn't much.

Even though the hotel isn't brand new, it's very clean and well-maintained. The tatami mats were comfortable to sleep on. While I wasn't a fan of the breakfast and dinner, they were beautifully presented. It's also very close to Lake Yamanaka.

Very very nice owner, he may be the second or third generation to run this family business. He tried very hard to cook food and serve. Room is nice and historic. Although does not have a direct view of Mt Fuji, but the owner really gave us very good impressions and memories. Food presentation looks very nice, but cooking skill can still be improved.

Excellent hospitality.. The owner drove us to the ryokan and sent us back; that's half an hour he wasn't obligated to spend but he did and we really appreciate it. Food was awesome; you can see from the pictures the owner put a lot of heart into cooking it.

Value for money, though the hotel is a bit old. We stay in the innermost room, so the wifi cannot reach the room. Service is good.

The food takes a while to arrive. The demi-glace hamburger has a firm texture and is delicious. I recommend it for those heading to Lake Kawaguchi.

We had a one time stay at yesterday. The host was warm and are grateful for the drop to Kawaguchiko Station. Peace and serene location.

It's a place with a bus stop right in front, although the bus doesn't run very often. It's cozy and simple. The staff is very attentive and goes above and beyond. The room is compact but has all the necessary amenities (bathroom, etc.).

The wine bath was good, but the drainage in the washing area was clogged, and the comfort was halved!

The grilled young chicken with herbs that I ate for the first time in a long time was still delicious. The bread is also great. Next time, let's try the highly rated hamburger steak.

Older accommodation which we liked a lot! The host was very nice, provided good trip recommendations. There are restaurants in the vicinity. Onsen was great, WiFi good, we had a good night’s sleep, there were not too many people, I would stay here again. Great view at Fuji nearby, just look at the picture :-)

I've been there with my family and relatives. I liked the cute exterior, and the rooms were simple, spacious, and open. The atmosphere was quite homey. The food was really delicious.

The owner is very warm, the house is very clean, I recommend you to stay here and feel the traditional Japanese life. There is a supermarket and station nearby, it is very convenient!

The owner was very nice; he was worried when he saw I hadn't returned late. The location is decent, close to a large supermarket and not far from restaurants. I only saw the owner working the whole time; he seemed quite busy. On the way to the station, we chatted about everyday things, and it was a pleasant experience. A suggestion for the owner: please provide more drinking water for guests at night...

Not particularly recommended. . . I think a hotel or a more convenient hotel or B&B closer to Lake Kawaguchi, within walking distance, or a redline bus stop is better.
