Magnificent. Owners are soft spoken and polite, rarely seen but appear immediately when summoned by the bell at reception. Immaculate location with a beautiful rooftop terrace view of Fuji. I had an amazing stay at Fuji Guesthouse - staff were so helpful and attentive and gave me all the information I needed for the area and to climb Mount Fuji. The bikes are free to hire so had a great cycle around the lake too. The rooftop was a lovely place to chill with an amazing view of Fuji. It was less social than other places but good for downtime. When I checked into Konohana, it was very foggy and snowing, so I was a bit disappointed that I couldn't see Mount Fuji. It wasn't until around 8 AM the next day that Mount Fuji started to appear, but it was truly magnificent! Both dinner and breakfast were Japanese style and quite good, and their service was excellent!

Every staff at the hotel was exceptionally warm and friendly. The meals were also perfect. We enjoyed both the public onsen and the in-room hot spring—both were wonderful experiences. The only area that could potentially be improved is the selection of bedding and amenities, as they could be more refined.

This is the second time staying here. You can contact the hotel for pick-up at Hekou Lake Station. The semi-buffet dinner was rich and surprising, the staff were warm and polite, and the toilet was updated compared to before and had a drying function (≧ω≦)/I will come again next time.

I booked quite late, so there weren't many options. This hotel is pretty average overall, but the location is quite convenient. It is not worth the price you pay for the views. We paidAUD951 per night. The views of Mt Fuji from the hotel is not great at all. There is the lake view though. The hotel's service was exceptional, with a shuttle bus available to take guests to attractions along the route and to Kawaguchiko Station. Both dinner and breakfast were very generous and highly recommended.

Very good experience. A lot of attention to detail in the room (bottle of water, cookies, socks and pajamas provided) and for the children. The hotel is in Kawaguchiko, and you can see most of Mount Fuji. There is a bus stop downstairs. The hotel has free bicycles. The hot spring is not big, but it is very pleasant to soak in the hot spring while looking at Mount Fuji.
