Reviews
Pros:
1) The hotel staff provided excellent service throughout our stay. There were evening activities such as a taiko drum performance and a bingo game, which added a fun and lively atmosphere. Although some staff members were not fluent in English, they quickly noticed that we could speak Mandarin and thoughtfully arranged a Mandarin-speaking staff member to assist us. Special thanks to Huang, who did an amazing job explaining the fine dining dishes, including the preparation methods and stories behind them. His effort and attention made the dining experience even more enjoyable. We would also like to express our appreciation to the other staff members who served us earlier as well. Although we did not manage to catch their names, their professionalism, patience, and warm service were equally commendable.
2) The hotel offers both a wine lounge and a club lounge, which we truly enjoyed. It was a great experience being able to try a variety of wines within the hotel in such a relaxing environment.
3) The public bath offers a clear and stunning view of Mount Fuji. Even better, our room’s private open-air bath also had a Mount Fuji view. Being able to enjoy the scenery in such comfort really made this stay great value for money.
Cons:
Honestly, none that I can think of.
Overall, this was an excellent stay. I would definitely return to Kaneyamaen again on my next visit to Japan.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Kaneyamaen to all my friends, and I definitely hope to return for more relaxation therapy in the future.
Thank you, Kaneyamaen, for everything!
