Lovely traditional Japanese house, timber framed, deep wooden sitting bath.

This lodging is unsafe and unhealthy. The wood walls and floors in the shower room were rotted and covered in black mold. The stool in the shower was so rotted it broke. There are nails sticking up from the floor.The property description is inaccurate. There is no restaurant Café bar. We arrived in the evening and were directed to a grocery store an 40 minute walk away. There is no spa, there is no garden and the pictures do not accurately represent the property. There was no laundry facilities. When we tried to communicate with the property owner to check out early, they would not respond to us or to *******.

Although it was cleaned, the bathroom wall was rotting, the faucet splashed water sideways, the batteries in the remote control were rotten, and many things were difficult to use. The futon was too hard, and although the room was spacious, it was obvious that it was old. The fee for dogs was also suddenly announced, and although it was 2,500 yen per dog and payment was only in cash, no consideration was given to it.

The building is old, but not dirty. The toilets were very clean and equipped with the latest technology.
The staff were very polite and I had a relaxing time.
There is almost no Softbank signal and no Wi-Fi, so it's something to be aware of, but it might be a good place for people who want to do a digital detox.

I was a bit worried after reading the reviews, but we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Both the bedroom and living room were air-conditioned, and the toilet had an automatic opening toilet seat with a washlet. The bath felt old, but not so old that you couldn't use it, and although there was some black mold, the water pressure from the shower head was strong, which was nice.
We were able to enjoy a barbecue and fireworks outside, and the kids seemed very happy as we were two families staying there!

Stay away.
The structure doesn't match the photos. The windows are blind. It doesn't have a view of the forest, but rather of the highway with noisy traffic, even at night. No 4G signal or Wi-Fi. A real rip-off.

The spacious and comfortable Japanese-style villa is very suitable for a leisurely and quiet vacation and taking photos (laughs). There are no houses or shops nearby, so it is more suitable to drive by car. I bought food from the supermarket and then took the bus, which is a 5-minute walk. The house has a cooking stove, microwave, oven, tableware, and the bathroom is also very beautiful.

It was very clean, even though we were able to stay with our dog.
The toilets and bathrooms had been renovated and were very clean. There were plenty of amenities.
We had a problem with the accommodation we were planning to stay at, but they responded quickly and we felt very at ease.
The cypress bath was so nice that we ended up soaking in it several times.
It was spacious enough for five adults and one large dog, and we created precious memories with our dog.
It's easily accessible by car to Lake Kawaguchi and Lake Yamanaka, and we would definitely like to stay here again.

I really liked it. It faces the mountains, so bugs are inevitable. The toilets are clean and there are many other amenities, so I'd like to come back in a different season. The only thing that was disappointing was that the mobile phone signal was weak and the internet environment was poor.
