Ryuo Mountain Hotel in Yamanouchi

Absolutely terrible. First of all, this hotel is located on the ski slope. To get into the hotel, you have to carry your luggage up a slope on snow that's impossible to drag! Secondly, the hotel staff refused to help with my luggage. When I checked out, I needed to catch the bus down the mountain. I needed hotel staff to open the door for my stored luggage, but the front desk only served white foreigners who had made their requests after me. They kept telling me to stand aside and wait. I waited for a long time, especially since I had paid for storing my luggage on the day of my check-out. They made me almost miss the bus. And to get to the station, I had to drag my two 23-kilogram pieces of luggage back down the slope. The front desk staff didn't speak English. I speak Japanese. I was being accommodating, but they didn't even do any cleaning. I had to go to the front desk myself to get basic towels and toothbrushes. I'm complaining about this hotel!

It is a very old hotel, at least it looks like. Furniture about 30 years old, facilities are the same. A lot of renovation work is needed here, but at least it is very close to the ski place.
