Really no reason to stay at this hotel if you are not driving… no attractions around although there is a supermarket close by , it does have an onsen, find for the price and for 1 night

This Live Max is the one with the oldest equipment I have ever stayed in. It is a bit far from Kofu Station! It takes a long time to walk to JR, but it is not far from the Yamanashi Prefectural Museum of Art, and you can see Mount Fuji not far away🗻. The staff are unbelievably welcoming, kind and make efforts to make your stay as relaxing and pleasent as they can. We have pretty rough Japanese, more than please thank you and can I have one of those, but certainly less than conversational and the process of understanding what we're should to do book private rooms etc. was slightly difficult. The setting was peaceful and beautifully traditional, creating a truly relaxing and luxurious escape. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a pleasant stay. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Japan!

A very comfortable place to stay, and very clean. The staff was amazing with us, we had to cancel our last night and they did everything to help us, even though we couldn't speak in Japanese, they treated us very well and were helpful.

It was helpful that check-in time was okay until midnight. I also liked that the hot spring was okay for 24 hours (except for cleaning).

The facility is quite old. They promote the radon contained in the hot springs. After bathing in the radon hot springs, I was able to fall asleep easily and sleep soundly until the morning on some days, so it may be effective.

I stayed for one night without meals. My attitude was that all I needed was a bath and a place to sleep. The front desk staff were casual but polite. I liked them. If I have the opportunity, I would like to return.

It's our first time staying in FreeStyle hotel, Kofu, Yamanashi. We stayed from 11-13/April/2025. I booked a room around 4 hours before I arrived, on a last minute decision. 3000yen on booking dot com. When I arrived it was easy self service check in. The room was clean enough. It had a really cool vibe to it, in peak travel times it's probably a really fun place to stay.

Location is great. It could be cleaner, bathroom wise in my room. There were some issues. Staff is only there sometimes and check-in is automated - if it works. The beds are comfortable though. Within minutes you get a nice view of Mount Fuji, which is great
