Kofu, 4-3-5 Chuo (in the centre) 🧭 Map
I booked the room through the Trip app and already made the payment, but the hotel didn’t receive it, so there was a small problem. I had to pay in cash at the hotel. Trip said they will refund the money. It would have been easier if I had brought cash. The room itself was fine.
The hotel is nice and within about 15-20 minutes walk from Kofu station. There is a bus stop nearby.
Welcoming venue with plenty to see and do within walking distance.
Stayed for 2 nights to get some rest … location was good close to the castle and close to amenities, clean and spacious for Japanese business hotels
Since I was staying overnight, I was glad that I could use the parking lot at night. I only have photos from the middle of the trip.
Car parking need extra 1000yen, can consider use the car park opposite to the hotel, which is 500yen only.

I come here to get rest from the Tokyo buzz. It's awesome! The place has a great variety of baths. There are also a lot of facilities inside. My favorites are the restaurant, massage chair room and relaxation services. The scenery around is so pretty, and it's great for walks. All the workers are extra friendly. It isn't luxurious, but it's so relaxing, and the price-perfomance is great!
I came here...
The rooms are a little small, but enough for sleeping 👌
The food at the restaurant tends to be quite strong 💦
The baths are great for families with children, and there's even a mini pool, so I think it's a good value accommodation ♨🍺
I always use this place when I have something to do near Fuefuki-shi.
Reasonable health spa. A little far from the station.
Hotel rooms are modest, lean, and reasonably priced.
The in-house restaurant is reasonably priced, but the level of taste is quite high and satisfying.
Visited at 21:30 on weekday, it was still crowded. This is a spa complex, there are, various kind of spa, sauna, massage and relaxation, several kind of restaurants and hotel. Not like a usual hotel, wearing off the shoes at the entrance, you should go barefoot indoors. There is no shower nor bathtub in hotel room. Good place for overnight stay, will revisit.
Huge parking lot is available, credit...
You will really enjoy inside. Just come and see. Best recommendation from me.
It was very clean and had good facilities

The hotel's breakfast tomorrow is delicious.
I stayed here last year as well, and the bath was amazing.
The room was clean and the amenities were well-prepared, which was great. I'd like to stay here again.
It was a super retreat and very peaceful! The staff was very friendly :)!
The air conditioning vents were covered in dust, which was uncomfortable. The bathroom was very nice.
I stayed here on a solo trip. To be honest, I didn't have high expectations beforehand. Since it was a weekday, there weren't many people, so I was able to relax and enjoy the large public bath and sauna. Before my bath, I had curry and boiled dumplings at the restaurant on the second floor. I still felt a bit hungry after my bath, so I went to an izakaya on the second floor. The portions were good...
Service staff were efficient, although queueing to trade your keys for your shoes slowed things down. (Understandable, because this is also a day-trip onsen, so the hotel needs to ensure all tabs are covered before letting guests go.)
Facilities were old but well-maintained, although my room window couldn't be closed without force. Wide variety of baths to choose from, and convenient hours.
Note that...

Recommending to stay in dormy inn Kofu 😍
service is very nice, clean hotel
Service was excellent but rooms are a bit small for the price. Breakfast buffet was excellent.
Great place. Nice location near the station and main attractions and restaurants. Onsen was also great, nice views from the top
Very good as a japanese stand .Hot spring so very good .Staff so nice
A comfortable and thoughtfully designed stay in Kofu!
This was a very pleasant stay at Dormy Inn Kofu. The room was immaculately clean and well-organised—everything from the twin beds to the compact yet functional sink and vanity area was spotless and efficient. 📍 Dormy Inn Kofu ドーミーイン甲府 @ Yamanashi, Japan 🇯🇵
We stayed 2D1N on 12 November 2025 at Dormy Inn Kofu, and the overall experience was excellent. We drove directly from Haneda Airport, and the journey took around 3 hours due to traffic jam along the Tokyo express highway. The hotel’s onsite parking was very convenient, and the parking security staff were extremely helpful and friendly, guiding us clearly...
Happy with my stay. Rooms were clean, corridors were quiet, staff were helpful. The onsen was great, helped me recover after hiking Shirane Sanzan.
Good location and price is reasonable. Will recommend to friend

The place was in the center of a lot of restaurants/bars, which is just located below. Staff were very helpful and professional. The onsen was amazing with an indoor and outdoor spa.
My only complaint is that the pillow was too hard.

The room exceeded my expectations. The name made me think it was a rather old hotel, but it's actually quite new. The lobby on the first floor has a large area suitable for working or meeting guests. The breakfast was good. The room was clean and tidy. The blankets were comfortable. I would stay there again.
The breakfast had a wide variety of items, and I was glad to be able to try a variety of things. I thought it was a nice little touch that the cherry tomatoes had the stems removed.
The room was tiny, and the bed was also quite small – just a single. However, it was well-equipped, the service was excellent, and the breakfast was delicious. There's a 7/11 convenience store nearby, along with many restaurants, which was extremely convenient. Highly recommended.

The onsen experience was really good, the room was small but not bad. The breakfast is also good.
Amazing rooftop hot springs, awesome breakfast, and full of local characteristics. Love that they have local wines by glass in the lobby, and the local dishes in their breakfast.
Not to mention the proximity to the castle and all the restaurants. Highly recommended!
I like the place near the station the hotel is very impressive the room is very clean and most of all the hot spring is very relaxing
Really good hotel for Kofu and great location next to the station. They have 5-6 local wines available- I tried two and really liked one. The onsen is on the roof with a great view. If the room was a little bigger it would be 5 stars. I mean they had a luggage rack but there is not enough space to use it. Other than that it is very nice.
It's new and clean. The breakfast is delicious. The rice, miso, and fruit from Yamanashi are delicious. I eat too much. The room and the bathroom are not large, but I come here for work every time, so it's within the acceptable range. I didn't ask for a high floor, so this time I was on the third floor for the first time. It's a shame that the windows are difficult to open.
First of all, since some of the posted photos are mixed with old photos, I will describe what is different from the current appearance and interior of the hotel. … Good points: ・I think it's good because there is a large public bath (hot spring) on the top floor of the hotel near Kofu Station.・The interior of the room has a door between the entrance of the room and the guest room, so you can spend...

The service was great, the breakfast had many choices, and the hotel had a great location. The only downside was that the room curtains didn't have blackout design 😢🥹
The hotel is big, good, and convenient. The onsen is very good. There are both indoor and outdoor, alternating between men and women, giving you the opportunity to use both sides. There is also a sauna room. Shampoo, cream, and toiletries are ×POLA, and they are also sold at the hotel's super. In the morning, there are grapes from the garden for sale. As for the dinner, I booked the kaiseki style and...
The breakfast was delicious with lots of variety.
Above all, the hospitality of the staff was excellent. From showing us to the parking lot, to welcoming us in the lobby, to answering any questions we had, they were all very courteous. The taiko drumming demonstration was surprisingly good. It was impressive, and I would highly recommend it if you're staying here.
The temperature of the open-air bath outside the large communal bath was just right...
I was very satisfied with all the services.
The food was delicious, including local specialties like hoto noodles and fruit, and I enjoyed the hot springs both in the morning and in the evening.
A traditional Japanese hot spring hotel. The dinner is quite exquisite and the hot spring water is of great quality. I booked a hotel with a good value for money. My Japanese friends said they didn't book such a cheap price in Japan. I will stay here again with my family next time.

This hotel seems to have shifted its focus to a low-cost approach, rather than investing in new facilities. It also attracts many business travelers.
I often see reviews that describe it as "Showa retro," but it's not that old. Don't underestimate the authentic Showa era.
That said, the air conditioning in the room was only replaced two years ago.
The hot spring has a strong iron smell. I'm a Tokyoite...
Although it is old, it is also good. It's a pity that there is no hot spring in the morning.
It's about a 10-minute walk from Minami-Kofu Station. It only offers rooms without meals, and the price was 6,000 yen on a Saturday. The building and room facilities are old. The rooms are designed like a business hotel. The hot spring is a public bath that is open until 11:00 PM. However, you cannot bathe in the morning, and you will have to use the bathroom in your room. Heated hot spring water is...

I wish bath towels and face towels were provided free of charge.
The bathroom floor was slippery and it was easy to fall.
The breakfast was delicious.
The rooms were spacious and nice.
We stayed as a family of four. The room was clean, and we were able to relax in the hot springs. The breakfast buffet was also delicious.
A clean hotel located nearby the amazing Shosenkyo Gorge. The hotel also had its own Onsen which was a nice place to hang out after a long day hiking.
The room is large and conveniently located nearby
Great hotel. Big rooms and very clean.
Big parking spaces available
The room was spacious and comfortable, but it was dark overall and I wish it was a little brighter.
I was also glad that the hot spring made my skin smooth.

The room was standard. I stayed here on a business trip, and although it was about a 20-minute walk from the station, it was convenient because it was close to my destination. The breakfast menu was extensive and satisfying. The staff were very polite. Personally, I would have preferred a large public bath.

It was convenient because there was food nearby.
Breakfast was served on small plates, making it easy to eat. The menu was extensive and well-balanced, allowing me to enjoy my meal at a leisurely pace.
Affordable price! Clean and hygienic! The service attitude is very good!

With the end of the year fast approaching, I was looking for a place to stay alone when I found a vacancy at this hotel, and I stayed in a room with a private bathroom.

The hotel was reserved for a travel agency that we used for a tour. The entrance was decorated with a large chandelier and carpets, and William Morris' paintings were used here and there. The rooms were arranged facing a large Japanese garden, giving it the feel of a large Showa-era retro inn. The inn is old, but the amenities, such as the natural hot spring hair dryers and showers, were well-thought...
Unforgettable experience with great meals, amenities, in-room hot spring, beautiful garden. Near wineries and Mt. Fuji makes for a wholesome experience.
Good location, friendly staff, clean rooms and lobby, I liked everything
As everyone has written, this is an inn with a lobby with chandeliers, crystals, and a carpet with beautiful patterns, and a Japanese garden with Nishikigoi carp swimming. The white and black swans... seem to have already disappeared. For dinner, we had an appetizer, teppanyaki, two hot pots, rice cooked in a pot, and four dishes using solid fuel. This hotel really cares about its guests!
I stayed here for two nights. The price was reasonable, and although it's not new, it was well-cleaned and I had a comfortable stay.
After checking out, I realized I'd forgotten my pendant, so when I went back to get it, they had even carefully packed it for me! It's a really nice hotel.
The facilities are adequate for a business stay. Breakfast was also okay. I would definitely stay here again if I have work nearby.
The service was excellent. The staff were lovely. Even though we had an accident on the way, which made us very late, they still allowed us to check in late. They have complete facilities.
It's a decent hotel for a decent price.
The morning breakfast was great. The receptionist was really polite and helpful. The room was a bit old but it was modest. The bathroom too was old style with the bare minimum necessities but it was okay to spend a night during a business trip.
So a good bargain for a business trip on a budget but probably not for a romantic getaway.
The room was very clean and nice. Also, the morning service was great. However, it was a shame that we could hear the noise of the machinery on the rooftop, probably because we were on the top floor. I also wanted a large women's bath.

I was able to soothe my fatigue from Shosenkyo in Isawa Onsen. The room was spacious and clean, with a modern Japanese style. Great hotel. Lovely service at the front desk. We booked a smoking room as that was the only one available for the 6 of us, but it did not smell too bad of smoke. Lovely big room. The only minus is that it is a long way (1.5km) to walk to Isawa Onsen station. Loved the gardens.
Great amenities 😊 especially the tea in the room. Comfy futons.
🛁 tip: go to the bath in the morning, much better view of the misty mountain and town.
The temperature of the hot spring in the large public bath was not too hot and was just right for a comfortable bath. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of stewed dishes and was delicious.

The public onsen was great, I was only able to enjoy once, but it was good. There is only one open air bath so the switch the men and women's every other day. Beautiful rural hotel with a lovely view of the mountains. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great onsen. Sadly did not try the dinner (apparently all you can eat crab legs!!) Enjoyable visit. Thank you!
The only amenities provided were toothbrushes and towels, which was a little inconvenient. The hotel is very clean.
