The staff are unbelievably welcoming, kind and make efforts to make your stay as relaxing and pleasent as they can.

We have pretty rough Japanese, more than please thank you and can I have one of those, but certainly less than conversational and the process of understanding what we're should to do book private rooms etc. was slightly difficult. Mostly because we want to be conscious of Japanese customs and not do something dumb like wear bathers into the onsen. But the staff were really patient not only with our bad Japanese but also with the few occasions where we needed translation.

The rooms were lovely, service was great. We had th eroom with the private onsen which was amazing and convinient but could have been hotter.

The breakfast buffet was the best part of it. Wed go to bed each night excited for breakfast! Loads of traditional Ryokan style breakfast bits and bobs, some more western friendly things, but loads of options for dietary requirements, fresh and delicious.

Wed love to stay again, though we'd bring a car next time. Not but to do in the basin if you only have buses/trains.

The setting was peaceful and beautifully traditional, creating a truly relaxing and luxurious escape. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a pleasant stay.

We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Japan!

It was an amazing experience for us - the best we ever experienced in our life. Beautiful Japanese rooms, private onsen for us as a family, the breakfast is unbelievable, the service and the highlight was the private dinner with 9 meals and to taste horse sashimi and to enjoy a Sake tasting. We want to come again in a few years. We can really recommend to stay here at least 1 night or better for the weekend to enjoy everything…including the hot stone spa. I saw the amazing breakfast on social media and decided to stay here! It's a long-established inn, and the atmosphere was relaxing and wonderful! The curry I had at night was delicious, with a hint of spiciness! The room I stayed in was spacious and clean! I had a very elegant stay! I heard from the staff that regulars come to stay every month! It was the breakfast I'd been waiting for! Just as I saw on social media, the variety of dishes was insane! I highly recommend you try it!

The hotel rooms are very modern and in good sanitary condition. The rooms are equipped with a massage hot spring bathtub, which makes it very convenient to take a bath in the room!
The staff is very considerate, the service is attentive and thoughtful, and the food tastes super good 😋😋 I stayed for two consecutive nights and the dinner was not repeated. It was exquisite and delicious. It was very comfortable to enjoy it in a separate room

The breakfast has a wide variety of options. I initially thought it was a normal buffet breakfast, but there is a designated table assigned to the room, and the food tastes good and is carefully prepared. It is a very good buffet breakfast

The public hot springs are well-equipped, and you can also book a private hot spring online. It is equipped with shower facilities, which is very convenient. It is very convenient to take a bath with friends!

If I have a chance, I will definitely book this hotel next time I visit the Ishiwa Onsen area😊👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Beautiful hotel.
1. Staffs are very helpful and nice. They will make sure to welcome you and greet you upon entering. They will also send you off when you are leaving the hotel. They will even make sure you exit their carpark safely if you driving!
2. The boss will also serve you tea during breakfast buffet. Very friendly gentleman. You will not miss him as he has a human size display at the entrance in the breakfast restaurant.
3. Onsen in the room is a great point. Hot stone is a great way to detox too. Simply a good and traditional Japanese style hotel but still having the modern touch.
4. Food is marvellous too. Definitely will be back.
This is the defintely the grand finale for my family travelling for past 10 days in Japan.

The room is very large in Japan, and the experience is very good. The hot spring environment is beautiful, and the outdoor one is especially comfortable. The hotel is said to be the best in the area, and the buffet has a lot of choices. I will choose this hotel next time.
