Although it is an old building, it is a satisfactory hotel for a few nights. Be sure to check out the amenities corner in front of the elevator on the first floor. The outside looks a little beatup, but the rooms are very clean, and the staff are very polite. The only reason I removed a star was because of the annoying bathroom design. The door is about a foot off the ground so you have to step up to get in. Very strange and awkward design.

Easy to park. Wife would give it 4 stars. 6 yr old would give 5 stars for the rock climbing wall. No lift for 2nd floor rooms and would have life more space to open suitcases but overall nice place to stay.

It is more suitable for families who like camping and experiencing outdoor lifestyle. The wooden house is relatively old and the sleeping cushions are old. The road to drive to the B&B is narrow and the location is relatively remote.

This was a ryokan I visited while traveling with a friend. The rooms were very clean, and the tea provided in each room was delicious. The staff were always friendly, and the breakfast was of excellent quality. The hot springs were warm and clean, and the facilities were well-equipped. I stayed the night before Utsukushigahara. It takes less than 30 minutes by bus from Matsumoto Station! The young staff feel very good. The hotel offer a traditional Japanese settings. It wasn’t crowded and we got to spend a really quality time here. Breakfast and dinner were served. The only downside is the lack of in room shower.

Everything is perfect at this small but cozy hotel. The room is neat and clean. The foot bath on the balcony is relaxing and you can listen to the sound of the brooks next to the hotel while enjoying the foot bath. Fortunate to have stayed at Keiryu-so Shiorie as it was perfectly located near to the Sawando Bus terminal for easy access to Kamikochi. I stayed here with my family because the hotel had high reviews and offered a discount. Our room was in water-saving mode, but it was relatively empty, so we were able to relax in the hot spring water. It's a simple inn, but the cost performance is good. The proprietress is very kind and the employees are very warm and I personally want to go again. Structure is a bit old, and the floor rooms can get a bit cold but staff was kind and replaced ours with a 1st floor one. The ryokan is very warm and can be reserved for private experience.

The owner cannot speak English but tried to communicate to us. We’re impressed by the customer service and cleanliness. Eventhough we needed to use the shared toilet and bathroom, they are clean and vacant all the time. There is a few parking space at the ryokan with free of charge.

The accommodation has a shower, but there was a public bath nearby, so we went there by bicycle! There was a guitar and a hammock in the common area, so we could enjoy ourselves! The location is great, next to Matsumoto Castle, a 5-minute walk, and you can go to see the night view of Matsumoto Castle at night. There are many restaurants and paid parking spaces nearby. Friendly staff, good location, can use their bicycle freely to explore Matsumoto. Only have 2 shower room (1 upstairs 1 downstairs) so need to wait for your turn during peak hours. The curtain can make larger to cover the entire entrance of the bed, if not I can see my neighbour entering and exiting their bed while I am sleeping.
