Nagano, Minaminagano Suehiro-cho 1356 (in the centre) 🧭 Map
I would like to suggest everyone to stay at this hotel if you travel to nagano
Really near the station and next to donki so it’s so convenient. The room is really clean. I would stay here again if i visit Nagano
Best location, amenities and good spread of breakfast in this hotel. Not too much to worry about lugging your luggage as it is pretty convenient to cross the road or overhead bridge with escalator. Very accessible.
Great location—loved having a Lawson right downstairs!
I didn’t realize Big Echo was on the 4th floor; otherwise, I would’ve planned to go for karaoke. But I already had a movie scheduled, so there wasn’t enough time.
The view was exactly what I was hoping for. I really enjoy staying in places with windows that offer such a nice view.
The only downside was the washing machine. It was quite slow and...
Hotel just opposite Nagano station, walkable to zenkoji temple.
Consistent service and offerings throughout the Sotetsu hotels across Japan. You check-in via the machine, pick up your amenities; they have the best and extensive range and go to your tiny room.
Location wise, it is next to a 3-level Don Quijote and connected to Nagano station via the foot bridge on the 2nd floor.

The room wasn't particularly small. Breakfast on the top floor was good, though it was quite crowded. A dedicated paid parking lot was very convenient. The bedding was comfortable, especially the duvet and pillows.
Great hotel in a good location, breakfast was excellent! With an amazing view
High value, we had a nice time :)
The room here was genuinely spacious, with plenty of room to fully open our suitcases! However, the mini-fridge was quite small, only fitting a few drinks. On the bright side, they provided complimentary makeup remover, toner, lotion, and bath salts. Unfortunately, the smoking room still had a very strong, lingering smell of smoke. We notified the front desk, and they promptly performed a deodorizing...
The hotel is conveniently located about halfway between Nagano Station and Zenko-ji Temple. While the hotel itself is a bit dated, the breakfast was a definite highlight. The restaurant, situated on the 14th floor, offered an especially rich and varied selection of specialty dishes.
The room was very clean and quite spacious, especially for a Japanese hotel. Even during our two-night stay, when we opted out of daily housekeeping, they still kindly provided fresh towels and linens. I managed to leave my room key in the room twice, but the staff at the front desk were always very helpful and promptly issued a replacement.
The room was clean, the breakfast was delicious, and there were many business travelers.

Nice clean hotel with many goodies.
Free soba at night, ice cream or probiotic drink after a nice onsen.
It's near the JR station but is on a street that is closed to cars on the weekend. Unable to locate the hotel due road closure on a Sunday.i would like to thank the staff for allowing us to drop our bags, guide us to the car rental company and alley our anxiety.
The location is incredibly convenient, just a 5-minute walk from Nagano Station. For those heading to Togakushi Shrine, remember to check the bus timetable and purchase tickets at the bus stop right next to Donki.
The hotel facilities are decent, and the rooms were notably clean. On the first floor, the check-in area conveniently provides a water dispenser and coffee machine.

If you're visiting Nagano, this hotel offers excellent value for money. The rooms are well-designed and perfect for solo travelers. This is my second stay at this hotel. It's very close to Nagano Station's Zenkoji Exit, just across the street and around the corner. There's a 7-Eleven right next door. I particularly loved the delicious apple juice offered in the lobby during check-in!
The hotel has an excellent location, very close to the JR station and within easy walking distance. The room size was quite good – definitely not small for this trip – and the shower area was spacious. But the real standout feature was the onsen (hot spring); after a soak, I felt completely relaxed and my whole body felt incredibly comfortable!
It was a pleasant stay as all of us enjoyed the onsen after a long day after exploring Nagano. Location is great as it’s near to the station where you can easily get onto the train and local buses. Room is a bit small for a family of 3, recommend to get a bigger room with additional bed if you have a kid.

Perfect location, it is located just opposite Nagano station, bus and train are easy to get. Lots of eateries around hotel. Friendly staff that greet you everytime you walk pass their table. Great breakfast to charge your day. Good amenities. The bedroom size is also good. Downside is the hotel doesn't have a public bath.
Omg we loved this hotel! Our favourite stay from the 3 weeks we spent in japan. So clean, near the station and has everything you need. Spacious bedroom and soo comfortable. We just loved everything about this hotel
Overall is good. Except there is no drop-off area. The hotel lobby is on 4th floor. We have to park the car and drag our luggages to hotel. It’s not convenient, if in raining situation.
Solid hotel with strategic location. Nearby to places to eat and next to JR station. Staff are friendly, room is clean. Highly recommended

I chose a plan that included meals, and they prepared a variety of Nagano specialties, which were delicious.
The large public bath was small, which was a bit disappointing. It also seems like you have to share towels, which might be inconvenient for people staying multiple nights.
It's a bit of a walk from Nagano Station and Zenkoji Temple, so it might not be the best location for sightseeing.
I often use this hotel when I stay in Nagano City. It has a lot of amenities so it's easy to use. The large public bath is also easy to use.
There was also a sauna in the large public bath, so I really enjoyed it!
We chose a double room, which was very very good. The room we stayed in was spacious, not cramped, clean, and the bed was comfortable. When you walk down the stairs in front of the hotel, there is a 7-Eleven, which is very convenient. I think it's perfect for business trips, solo travel, or trips with friends. It's close to the station, has good facilities, and has a sauna, which is nice.

Great breakfast. Very clean. The distance from Nagano station is a bit far though.
The large public bath is in a separate building, so it will be cold in the winter. There is a roof over the pedestrian walkway, though. If you book through the official website, it is the cheapest. There are also various benefits, such as free drinks for the number of nights you stay. I have no complaints about the room I stayed in. It's good that parking is free.
The white rice at breakfast was delicious.
I was able to relax.
I was happy with the breakfast and welcome drink.
It would be great if there was a large public bath for women as well.
However, I heard footsteps from above several times during the night, which was disappointing as I couldn't get a good night's sleep.
Thank you very much.
It's about a 40-minute walk from Nagano Station, so it's not that easy to get to. The smoking room smells pretty bad, so it might be tough for non-smokers. The hotel staff were very accommodating.
I stayed here the night before the exam. It was convenient because the hotel was near the exam venue and had free parking. However, there are few convenience stores and places to eat around the accommodation, so I recommend buying food in advance or eating at a restaurant next to the hotel. The previous hotel was not comfortable for me, so I booked this place for my mother. It has a bathhouse similar to a hot spring and many other facilities, which is pretty good.

The hotel is conveniently located near Nagano Station, which made getting around very easy. If I visit Nagano again, I’d definitely stay here.

I booked it on the day, so the price was quite high, but the location is right in front of the station, so it's very convenient. The room is old and the shower doesn't work well, but I have no major complaints.

But if the escalator breaks down, the luggage will have to be carried!
ABEST NAGANO EKIMAE Hotel is located not far from JR NAGANO Station. It takes about 1 minute from the station to the hotel. It is very convenient and the hotel is clean and comfortable.
We arrived from Tokyo on a late shinkansen, and needed to stop overnight before catching the bus to Hakuba in the morning. Hotel Abest had the best rates and their checkin counter was open until late.

The room and facility are pretty old and the room carpet looks quite dusty. The room layout of single bed is a bit weird. The good thing is it is not crowded so I can use laundry at ease.
The staff are polite, nice and helpful. Some staff can understand English so it’s not difficult to communicate.
The breakfast is pretty good. Got some local food like soba and bun.
I had a pleasant stay at Smile Hotel Nagano. The bed was comfortable and perfect for a good night’s sleep. The room was clean and cozy, and the shower pressure was great! The AC made a bit of noise, but nothing too bad, it didn’t disturb my sleep. Overall, a great value and I’d stay here again!
Somewhat outdated rooms, toilet entrance hall was not clean, otherwise fine hotel. Breakfast ok. Good location.
Clean with plenty of amenities and as described. Friendly, professional staff. . 2 bulbs not working in the room but they dealt with it straight away. They also had a collection of quality hair products to try. Small rooms but they made the most of the space.

The location is great if you're driving, and Shishimaru Shokudo, a 10-minute walk away, has a great local feel and is open without even having a shop curtain. It was fantastic. The katsudon was delicious and super reasonably priced. I highly recommend it.

Unfortunately, it was a cold day with light snow.
It feels like a fairly old inn, but the room itself is not too small and I was able to stay comfortably. It is a bit far from Nagano Station, about a 20-25 minute walk.

The room was spacious.
There is Wi-Fi.

As soon as I entered the room, I was disgusted by the smell of cigarettes.

Convenience store, grand cinema and public transportation are also close by.
This time it was a consecutive night for business, but when I arrived at the inn, I felt free, and there is plenty of time at this inn.
A public bath with shared toilets and a bath. To be honest, the building is very very old, but the air conditioning and futons were properly arranged and I was able to relax. It is better to use it after understanding the equipment, but my husband was also a very good person.
