Excellent and cozy hotel. However, the receptionist's service was a bit gruff, and my room was dirty. There were a lot of cookie crumbs under the beds, a lot of hair, and almost 20 ladybugs in the room, especially behind the curtains. Great place to stay. Right at the center of the village. 10 minutes from gondola and 5 minutes from bus station. There's an indoor onsen 24 hours. The rooms are cozy, warm, comfortable, and clean. Everything about this hotel was perfect, except for its location being a bit far from the ski lifts. I mainly chose this hotel because it's one of the few in Nozawa Onsen with private bathrooms. The hotel was surprisingly nice. There's a church nearby, and a shuttle bus to the cafeteria. However, the cafeteria food was really bad. The Karuizawa area is somewhat similar to Aranya. Also, you'll need to take a taxi frequently. It's suitable for a vacation, but don't have high expectations for the food.

Superb! Very convenient for getting to Hoshino Onsen, with a shuttle bus. The bunk beds were fun, and the kids had a blast. The room had two separate spaces, which was great 👍. There were also two washing machines and two dryers, so we could do laundry every day.

The hotel has a nice, quiet environment and offers plenty of self-service options, making it more suitable for young people than families.

Highly recommend! This is the best hotel in Karuizawa. The hotel has a very understated European style, and it took me quite a while to find the lobby. 😂😂😂 The room is huge; for this price point, it might just be the biggest room in all of Japan. The hotel is famous for its Western cuisine. Dinner and breakfast for three people only cost a little over 5000 RMB. If I ever come back to Karuizawa...

Fantastic resort with western artistic style. Location a bit far but that’s the purpose of a resort! Nice views from the hotel and gorgeous photo taking spots. Onsen also not bad

I stay at this hotel every year. It has a traditional, old-world feel, with a quiet, private atmosphere. The hotel restaurant serves French cuisine, but reservations are required. There are two hot springs, both with their own unique charm.
