Daiwa Roynet Hotel Nagoya Station in Nagoya

The hotel's exterior and interior are very luxurious and grand, giving a comfortable and clean impression. Even though I don't speak Japanese, checking in by myself was very smooth. The staff were very enthusiastic and communication was seamless. It truly is an international hotel. It's conveniently located within walking distance of Meitetsu, which is great for those heading to the airport the next day.

The room was clean and tidy, typical of a Japanese chain hotel – it had everything you'd expect. There was no problem opening my 28-inch suitcase. The heating was excellent. Most importantly, it's close to the Meitetsu station, which is super convenient for getting to the airport. It's only about a 10-minute walk, even with large luggage. Highly recommend!

The location is really wonderful, opposite to Nagoya Station. Easy to access to everywhere with lots of restaurants and cafes. Daiwa is a traditional brand with no complaints but just the hardware needs to do some maintenance, a bit old. Starbucks just one block away.

Great location with comfortable beds and air conditioners. Will stay again if visit Nagoya in future.

Clean hotel albeit dated. Conveniently located near the Nagoya station and there is a Lawson just below the hotel. room size 18m2 was good for 2 persons but mattress was a little too soft. Though the room was facing the main road, there was not much road noise. Attractively priced too. Highly recommended!

Being a corner room, the room is spacious, which allows to have 2 luggages open up in the room while still plenty of space to move around. There is a massage chair in the room, which is a nice to have for relaxing at the end of the day. The view from the room was nice, and it was not too noisy despite being close to the street. There are Lawson, 7Eleven, Family Mart nearby within walking distance.

The hotel is walkable distance to Nagoya station. There is a lift nearby which can lead to the station via an underground street, which makes it convenient if you have to transport your luggages to the station, but it takes some time to navigate through it.

The only problem we have with the hotel was that there was no free parking even for people staying at the hotel, and the paid parking provided by the hotel does not allow entry/exit after 23:00, so we have to park our car at a paid parking around the corner instead after our late night out.

The location is fantastic, right by Nagoya Station and conveniently close to Meitetsu, which was incredibly convenient. Coming from Takayama by bus, the hotel was exceptionally close. The hotel is a little dated, but that was pretty much expected.

Location: The hotel is conveniently located a 5-10 minute walk from Meitetsu Nagoya Station. You can even spot it from the NANA statue (as shown in the last picture).

Room: Our room was impeccably clean and felt spacious, not cramped at all. We could easily lay open two 24-inch suitcases on the floor.

Breakfast: The breakfast was excellent. While the restaurant isn't huge, it offers a great variety of both Japanese and Western dishes. The Japanese selection was particularly impressive, featuring items like Tonkatsu-don (pork cutlet bowl) and multi-grain rice, ensuring there's something to satisfy everyone's palate.
