This was my first time staying here. The room was larger than your average business hotel, perhaps due to its age. There's a bus stop right outside, so there should be a direct bus from the airport
It's also close to the station, and the location is fantastic. 👍 As soon as you step out of the hotel, you can find a variety of restaurants nearby or just a short walk to the underground shopping mall
The hotel is a bit old, but the location is excellent. If you've booked a day trip, I highly recommend staying here; it's just 100 meters from the meeting point.
Old but well-maintained hotel near Nagoya station. The rooms are clean and bigger than I expected for the price. Might stay here again next time I'm in Nagoya
Basic hotel that is accessible to food and convenience stores. Within 5 mins walk to Nagoya Station. Staff were friendly and helpful.
I'll definitely stay here again next time if I can find a good deal. The only problem was that the room was a bit dark

The hotel website www.theplaza.co.jp is not working. I want to get more information about the facilities of the hotel like parking and dinning. Where can I get them?
Thanks.
I often stayed at a super cheap hotel. Hotel Plaza made me feel like a king because everything was super stellar for me!
The hotel had restaurants in-house. A poor traveler like me couldn't afford to eat there
There’s a couple different restaurants in the hotel with reasonable prices. No laundry services or public bath. But there is a nice Onsen about 16 minute walk away. My room had a nice view of the sunrise every morning
We used this hotel to go to Ghibli Park. We travelled by car and didn't use the train, but I thought it was very conveniently located as the station was close by
I was thinking about staying at a hotel in Nagoya City. But I was not able to find any hotel. It took around 20 minutes from Kanayama Station. The location is in front of the JR Kachigawa station
As close to the station as you can get. Mostly a hotel for business people. There isn’t much tourism around, so the hotel mostly seems to cater to business people

There is a kettle, empty fridge, large flat TV, adequate desk, Japanese dressing gown, razor, tooth brush and paste etc in the room and the front desk will microwave w bento etc
Excellent location, super convenient for getting anywhere by subway or bus. It's not far from the station, the TV Tower, or Don Quijote. The shower water was great, really hot
Great location, good service. Major downside: room had an interior 'window' with no access to daylight or fresh air. Good for sleeping in, but feels a bit closed in!
Convenient location in the city center, close to the subway exit, with a convenience store right next door. A short walk further brings you to a large Don Quijote
Just a heads up, there's a step in the bathroom, so watch out if you're with kids or seniors. Breakfast is pretty minimal, suitable for those who eat light
For elevator exit, go to exit 8 of Sunshine city, it's in the opposite site and only 3-5 minutes away. Oasis 21 is around 8 minutes away. The hotel is old, classic but clean

I highly recommend all three – you won't be disappointed! Finally, a word about dynamic pricing (or 'big data price gouging' as I see it): I checked the hotel price a day before and it was over 400, but then I saw it for just over 300 at 3:50 PM on the day itself
The bathroom is small as well, and the hot water doesn’t stay warm for long—it turns cold on its own, which is a bit inconvenient, especially if you’re visiting in winter. That said, the location is great
The location is excellent—just a 5 to 7 minute walk to Nagoya Station. The bed is soft and very comfortable. Even though it’s a single room, there’s enough space to fully open a suitcase
I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for budget-friendly accommodation in Nagoya
Despite the room being smaller and more expensive than what I’d usually pay for this size, I still had a good stay overall—especially since I woke up to snowfall, which was really nice
It’s close to a lot of popular restaurants, including a famous barbecue spot, and there’s a FamilyMart just a two-minute walk away. They also provide umbrellas you can use
If you're going to stay overnight, why not splurge a little and enjoy the spectacular view of Nagoya Castle from your room from the morning?
Before my stay, I thought the price was high for accommodation in Nagoya, but it was worth it
It’s absolutely one of three most beautiful hotels I’ve stayed at! Epitome of luxury in terms of art work n decor. The Moroccan spa in B1 is the best Onsen pool in Japan. Rooms are big n so quiet n comfy
Basically everything was excellent. The staff were considerate and helpful. I was impressed by the personalized hospitality. The only thing that bothers me is the breakfast, which needs improvement
The hotel is super traditional Japanese contemporary style. Great if you like the retro atmosphere. We loved it and there is an extremely careful attention to small details and great hospitality
From both the reception and the restaurant, you can enjoy a spectacular view of Nagoya Castle all to yourself. With an unobstructed view all the way to the main citadel, you'll almost forget you're in central Nagoya
I wish there were more options to choose from. Also, the timing of people coming to collect plates and used food was so quick that it didn't feel like a relaxing experience and it was very hectic

The service is great; they even offer hand warmers when you head out. The first-floor lounge is free to use in the afternoons, with some simple drinks and a good selection of free manga and board games
The bathroom ceiling might drip due to an air conditioning issue. For stays beyond a certain number of days, there's a corresponding cleaning schedule, which guests are asked to choose upon check-in
The room was really small and a bit old, but it was very clean. The front desk offered a lot of toiletries. Exiting right, you're right at the Osu Shopping Street, but it gets very quiet at night.
The location is excellent, right next to Osu Kannon Station and the shopping street entrance. It's very convenient for daily life, and getting to Nagoya Station or Sakae is easy
The bathhouse is on the second floor, with one for men and one for women. However, only one has a sauna and toilet, while the other just has showers and a smaller soaking tub
They swap them for different genders morning and evening. The rooms are a bit small; I'd recommend checking the official room information for square footage

I accidentally requested a non-smoking room, but they were fully booked that day and said they would deodorize it. The room didn't smell much like cigarettes and was very comfortable. Thank you.
If you're looking for budgeted accomodation and nice customer staff? you have to stay here. Located almost in the heart of the city, where you can walk to visite places such as museums.
Since I ended up staying at the last minute, I didn't bring anything with me, but they had everything from makeup remover to face masks, which was very useful
The room itself isn't large, but it's clean and the self-service amenities in the lobby are sufficient for everything you need
There are also izakayas and ramen restaurants nearby, so unless you're a real foodie, it won't be a problem
Very good. I like it very much. There's beer and breakfast.

It's a shame there's no sunlight, but other than that, everything was great. The room was spacious enough for a single person, and since it's in a busy area, everything was close by
After checking in, I did some shopping at Matsuzakaya for about 10,000 yen, and when I showed my parking ticket at the information desk I was given two 30-minute service tickets, so the bill the next day was 1,060 yen
The Meitetsu Kyosho Parking diagonally in front of the hotel is an affiliated parking lot and can be used for 1,300 yen per night
It seems that you can't reserve the parking lot, but it's a multi-story parking lot that can accommodate a large number of cars
The hotel is located in the largest shopping district in Nagoya, Sakae, with convenient shopping and transportation. The room is indeed small, but the price is high.
There are Mitsukoshi convenience stores and restaurants nearby, so it is good. It is close to Sakae Station, so it is easy to get around

Both dinner and breakfast at Glycine were highly satisfying, with carefully selected ingredients. I think this hotel is among the top-tier of SLH properties. It's definitely a place I'd recommend staying at least once
Even though I didn't mention it was my birthday when I booked, the staff thoughtfully surprised me by writing a message on the window and even presenting a birthday cake made from towels
At night, you can climb to the top of the TV tower to overlook the Nagoya landscape. The only shortcoming is that the bathroom light is too dim and ladies cannot put on makeup
For this stay, I chose a room on the south side of L10, which offered a wonderful 180-degree view of Hisaya-odori Park and Oasis 21
The entire hotel felt like an art museum, with artists' works displayed everywhere, providing a truly extraordinary experience throughout my stay
The hotel's mystery really surprised me. So this was a great experience. However, if you want to go shopping, you still need to drive a bit, as finding parking is not easy

I was given various hot spring ingredients to try, which made my bath time more enjoyable. The breakfast was also excellent. The food was carefully prepared and served, and very delicious. I would definitely stay again
The staff is friendly and attentive, the environment is calm and relaxing, it’s a quiet place perfect for a peaceful night. The room is spacious and clean. I highly recommend this hotel.
The hotel boasts elegant decor and offers happy hour drinks in the evenings. The provided facial and skincare products are from reputable brands
Because there is no requirement to clean the room every day, a bag of supplies will be delivered to the door every day
I also gave them a sleeping mask and clothing deodorizing spray
Located in a quiet area of the business district, the hotel is conveniently situated near the subway and a convenience store is just across the street
I stayed here for two nights on a solo business trip. The room and bathroom were spacious and clean. I was also pleased with the spacious bathtub size

The hotel is spacious and very clean. We drove ourselves, and the parking was conveniently located. If you're coming by public transport, it's about a 10-minute ride
Free Parking is definitely a plus point (great for those planning for self-drive trip to Nagoya), My kids definitely love free SODA drinks, free WIFI, free VOD movies
Great hotel! Room is very clean with a huge bathtub, very spacious and quiet. Unfortunately we were traveling with a baby and they do not provide baby cots, other than that its fantastic
While not directly in the bustling areas like Nagoya Station or Sakae Station, which meant a bit more walking, I actually enjoyed the quieter atmosphere this hotel offered
The front desk offers drinks, and the room comes with a microwave and water dispenser, so it's pretty well-equipped. The toilet and shower are separate
The staff were friendly, and compared to many small hotel rooms in Japan, the spacious room and decent value for money were truly satisfying

I came to this SPA along from the nearest station need to walk for 12-15 min if you have a big heavy suitcase. The SPA facilities is well designed and clean.
Hotel is clean and onsen was exceptional large, another good option if you don’t want to stay need the Nagoya station 😆
Well, I still don't know if I could walk in flip-flops since I have a disability and need special footwear to walk.
need to take 4 more stop of JR train from nagoya station , and then walk for at least 5 mins from station

I booked this hotel last minute, and it's quite close to the commercial center, about a 10-minute walk. It's a great spot for dining, drinking, and shopping
We were a family of four (two adults, two children) and stayed one night, then went to Shinhotaka, and then returned for another night
The hotel was kind enough to store our luggage in between stays, which was incredibly convenient! On the second night, I accidentally booked the wrong room, but the hotel upgraded us for free, which was really appreciated!
It was my first time trying a hotel without daily housekeeping, but they still came to collect towels and trash, which I found perfectly adequate
The only downside is that there's no elevator going down, which could be a hassle if you have luggage
Good location easy access to Sakae area.
Cleanliness and facilities better.

There was a Lawson nearby, which was convenient, but there were a lot of men standing around trying to attract customers at night, which was a bit scary
Located in the heart of Sakae, it's convenient to go anywhere, has many restaurants, and is in a great location. The rooms have been renovated, so you can stay in a hotel that is comparable to a new hotel.
The amenities were great, and the shower had strong water pressure, which I appreciated!
Coffee was available for an additional fee, but they provided a pack of Japanese tea and plum kelp tea, and there was a water dispenser, so I could drink both hot and cold drinks immediately, which was great
It was convenient to take a taxi or subway from JR or Kintetsu Nagoya Station, and there were restaurants, convenience stores, etc. around the hotel, so I had no inconveniences during my stay.
The building itself seemed old, but the interior was exceptionally clean. The room was spacious enough for two suitcases to be opened, and the bathroom facilities were also spotless.
It's a little far from the station, but it's great for going out for fun both day and night. The staff were very kind and I also liked that they do proper room cleaning.

Toyoko Inn is always a reliable choice, they have everything! I really love how hotels in Japan provide small packets of toner, lotion, and makeup remover – it's so hygienic and convenient, a big thumbs up! The only minor issue was that the humidifier wasn't very easy to use; I spent quite a while trying to figure it out, which was pretty funny
There's a newer Toyoko Inn next door, which is slightly more expensive (if you're just looking for a good night's sleep, this one might be a better value; the two are practically face-to-face)
The beds are on either side of the bathroom. Although the rooms are small, they do not affect each other. There is no queue for breakfast, and the cherry tomatoes are delicious
There is a person named IKENO at the front desk who is very helpful👍👍👍
The two grandmothers were very kind for breakfast, and I felt very guilty because there was no natto 😂
Toyoko Inn is a chain brand in Japan, and their quality control is reliable. The check-in machines are all the same, and check-out is also done via the self-service machine
The room is smaller, well-equipped, and the service attitude is very good. There is also free breakfast, tea, coffee, etc. I hope to stay at this hotel next time
Nagoya, 3-7-13 Nishiki, Naka-ku (60 min from centre) 🧭 Map
Many hotels were unavailable, or even if they were, they were expensive, so I checked in with reasonable expectations for the 7,500 yen/night rate
They greeted me, which was nice, though. After checking in, I picked up towels and amenities from next to the front desk and headed to my room. The room key was a physical key, not a card key or an auto-lock
the rooms could be improved, mine had mold stains that had been painted over near the window, but it was equipped with an air purifier.
the staff was really helpful and kind, so it was a nice stay.
It was a stay without meals and was used just to go back in the middle of the night and sleep
If it is only that, it is enough for location. It would have been better if there was Wi-Fi
Whether I was going directly from my accommodation floor to the 1st floor or returning to my room from the 1st floor, the elevator always stopped on the 5th floor, so I made eye contact with the front desk staff
You can leave your key at the front desk, but they're closed between 1:00 and 6:30, so if you accidentally drink too much, you won't be able to get into your room. Overall, the room is very old, but clean

Great location. Kombini and stores nearby. Staff went really friendly and quick to help. Breakfast is basic but good enough for a quick meal.
Perhaps it was half a year after opening, so both the hotel and the rooms were very clean and I spent a night in a clean atmosphere
2 blocks away from train station. Nice staff, room is clean and breakfast included.
Rooms are small but clean and it is conveniently located to Nagoya station
There is breakfast provided in the morning so it’s nice also
Love the hotel
Excellent service with luggage storage before check in
Buffet breakfast is free and opened to all guests
Location is quite acceptable as not far from Shinkansen station and slight away from Kintetsu and Meitetsu station
The hotel truly lives up to its name with its comfortable and clean environment! Love the variety of food served for breakfast each morning! The library cafe has a lovely pleasant environment with Muji vibes! Would definitely recommend this hotel to friends visiting Nagoya! ◡̈

I think the hotel service was pretty good, eventually after I check it only notice I left my New Nike shoes. Luckily they keep it and returned to me afterwards
Although the hotel is a bit older, it’s clean and comfortable, the room is a good size, and the breakfast offers many great options with good coffee
Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of the hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional
The room also includes a sink and a microwave, which is very convenient
nice room. bathroom and toilet have plenty of space. decent breakfast.
The hotel facilities are complete, and there's a mini-fridge. The hygiene is pretty good, and the environment is decent. It's located near a subway station. The room is a bit small, but that's typical for Japanese hotels

The price is not low during the cherry blossom season. The two hot spring pools are not big and can accommodate three people each. The service is very warm and polite
My wife and I were here in July 2016 with our rental car. Although the parking lot was a few lanes away, it was still relatively easy to find
A small Japanese-style hotel very close to Nagoya Station. The bathhouse is very clean, the staff is very nice, and the stay is very comfortable
Very good. I will go again. Thank you to all the staff and the platform. I love you. Delicious breakfast.
However, the standard Japanese-style room I booked is really small, simple and "hotel"
The decoration of the room is neat and clean, and the bedding is also satisfactory
