The environment is great, and I loved that the room used a physical key instead of a key card! Couldn't check in early, but they offered luggage storage, which was a huge help
Let me tell you where the wireless password is hidden. It’s not on the wall or on the table. You can only see it when you turn on the TV. 😂😂🤣🤣🤣
It's very clean and tidy, and it's very ceremonial. You will be given a key to turn in the room. The linens are also the old-fashioned ones, but very comfortable
The room is relatively large in Japan, and it's close to the subway station!
If I visit Nagoya again, I'd definitely choose to stay here!
I stayed here to go to the Menicon Theater. It was within walking distance. The breakfast was delicious and the variety was great. I was satisfied.

Located in the Nayabashi area, a quiet business district between Nagoya Station and Sakae, the hotel is easy to reach by bus, subway, or a 15-minute walk from Nagoya Station
There are plenty of eateries nearby, and having a Royal Host right at the lobby was a nice bonus. Check-in was smooth, and we were happy to enter our room early at 2pm
One small downside was the TV placement, which made it a bit hard to watch while lying on the bed. The view was partially blocked, but not a dealbreaker
Our 11th-floor room was compact but spacious enough to open our luggage, with a comfortable double bed and a surprisingly large bathroom
Richmond Hotel Nagoya Nayabashi was our 17th hotel on this journey, and it turned out to be a very comfortable and convenient stay
The staff were especially helpful, assisting us with sending a parcel overseas via Japan Post. Overall, a reliable, hassle-free choice for staying in Nagoya

The room is kind of small for single type but it was very comfortable because they provided smart tv, which I could connect to my Netflix and Youtube account, small refrigerator for my drinks, air conditioner and bathroom
The room also has so many electrical outlets so you don’t have to worry about charging your phones (if you have more than 1 phone like me), your power banks, your smart watches, and you still can use their provided hair dryer as well! The hotel also provides vending machines for cup ramen and also drinks so you don’t have to worry about starving or dehydrating
The location if near subway gate and big street, also has convenience store nearby so it’s very good. It’s under renovation when I came but the undergoing work didn’t disturb guests at all
Since my room is the farthest from elevator and it was right in the corner side, I got to have big bathroom with shower stand and closet
So far, it’s best and very money value for solo traveler like me! Would like to stay here again next time!!
Service: The room hadn't been cleaned by check-out time, so we had to wait about 10 minutes. Facilities: Due to renovations, there were no vending machines, so we had to go to a nearby convenience store to buy groceries

And the amenities are amazing! You don't even need to bring your own skincare products!
Shampoo and conditioner are provided, but if you're concerned about that, you might want to bring your own
It's far from the station, but the advantage is being able to park your car flat in a big city. If it's raining and you don't want to walk to Nagoya Station, the Kintetsu station is nearby
The atmosphere was chubby and gentle, and the hot drinks did not get cold easily, so it was delicious. I wanted to buy it if it was sold at the front desk. (I heard at the front desk that the manager chose and decided it
The price is great! It's a little far from Nagoya (just 10 minutes), so it might be a good idea for those with lots of luggage or during hot weather, but there are times when a shuttle bus is available
There is a cafe on the first floor of the hotel, but there are no convenience stores nearby, so it's best to eat before going there, or buy something to take with you on the way
The exterior of the building is old, but the rooms have been renovated and are clean. I was glad that they provided wet towels and bottled water when I checked in

The hotel feels a bit old but it is well maintained!! It is very friendly to single travelers. The room is larger than the ordinary single room, and free breakfast bread and coffee are also provided
There is also an ice maker, and as others have written, vending machines are cheap ♪
There is no convenience store around (Lawson is finally 5-6 minutes away
I feel like this is a treasure hotel in Nagoya. It is very convenient on the tenth floor of PARCO
They don't offer breakfast buffet, but every morning, there's a table near the reception area with bread, coffee, juice, and croissants per guest, and you bring them to your room to eat
It's not as busy as the other hotels so if you want to shop in Parco, this is the hotel to stay in
Very good location
The famous eel rice, Hida beef, and miso pork cutlet are all very close. There are two Don Quijote nearby

However, some room doors are quite difficult to open; I happened to get one where I had to squeeze in sideways every time. This might be something to consider if it bothers you
There are plenty of restaurants and several convenience stores nearby, and it's not far from the subway and JR stations, which is very convenient. I would choose this hotel again next time I visit Nagoya
It's about a 10-minute walk from the main road of Rongcheng, but overall the hotel met my expectations. It was perfectly fine for one person
Highly recommended, great value for money. The fridge and microwave were incredibly useful. The location is quiet but not out of the way.

I booked this place on short notice, and it turned out fantastic! The room was very clean, and there was a 24-hour hot spring bath, so even if I arrived late at night, I could still take a bath to relieve my fatigue
I really recommend this ryokan. Although it is not a private hot spring, the men's bath is on the first basement floor, and the women's bath is on the second floor! And the room is clean too.
The room is quite comfortable, except that there is no independent bathroom, everything else is quite satisfactory. The surrounding area is quite lively and very convenient from the station
The room has tatami mats, the public bathroom has a bathtub, the water is very clean, and the washing area and public toilet are also very clean
Very good personal who are very welcoming ! traditional room with kimono. The bathroom are clean nothing to say about that
The staff were very helpful, and I was able to relax on a futon in the Japanese-style room and in the large public bath!

The hotel is located near Nagoya station about 10 minute's walk (if you have luggage). However, there is no elevator. Considering that you carry heavy luggage
A couple, stayed 2 nights, clean and comfy, shared toilet, bathroom, sinks for hygiene; free water, towel, robes and amenities, very near station and many good eats
(-) there is 1 washing machine for everyone to use but no dryer (near a laundromat so its still okay)
Excellent rooms, like 4 stars hotel. Unbetable location, 5 mins from central station. You can findeverything around: food, games, shops, girls, etc. Steep stairs so not suitable for physically challenged people
A great hotel close to Nagoya Station! The room was very clean and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating.
very polite helpful staff, good price for stay, very convenience location, can go everywhere easily
Good and clean hotel, good service too. It is affordable and near nagoya station and foods.

The hotel is within walking distance of the Oasis 21 Nagoya Science Museum, and a simple breakfast is provided. You can choose between sandwiches and curry, and adding toppings to the curry makes for a hearty breakfast
I stayed here to attend a concert at Nagoya Dome. Generally, there were no problems, but in the evening, the hot and cold water stopped coming out of the shower and sink, so I couldn't shower
The room was clean and the bathroom was also clean. It was also nice that there was enough space to open up my suitcase. There are a lot of people around the hotel at night, so I think the area is a bit unsafe.
When I returned to my room, the hand washing and shower were working, but I was worried that they would stop working in the middle of a shower, so I called the front desk just to be sure, and they told me that the outage was still continuing
Above all, I was disappointed that I had lost my watch, so I was really grateful that they called me to let me know and arranged for it to be delivered to my home
I gave it 4 stars - that doesn't mean it is a 4-star hotel. It is affordable clean and centrally located. I'd stay there again.

I stayed overnight and made a reservation here to get some rest. Check-in was quick at 4pm, and I was able to leave my luggage in advance since I arrived at 2pm
Transportation mainly relies on buses. The distance is about ten minutes' walk. The hotel time limit is 23:00 at night. Because grandparents need to sleep
Cozy and authentic ryokan. Owners are really nice. Would stay for longer but didn't have time. Would definitely recommend for staying in Nagoya
Everything was great except for the fact that the wifi didn't work
This is a hotel run by a Japanese grandma and grandpa. The two elders take good care of the guests and are very kind.
Right next door there is a traditional public indoor bath, which adds more flavor to the experience. Yes, the facilities are a bit old, but I felt clean & the things I need are all there

Aside from the inconvenience of going out late at night and the need for a security guard to open the door, everything else is quite standard.
The room and bathroom were spacious and comfortable. I was also pleased to be able to choose my amenities. Late check-out at 12 noon is rare at other hotels, so I'll definitely use it again the next time I visit Nagoya.
It was very close to the station and the service was excellent! It was also close to Mount Kakuozan, so it was fun to walk around the area.
Beautiful hotel, clean and with friendly employees. Two great restaurants (Japanese and French style).
Very friendly staff, proficient in english at reception. Nearest hotel to Nagoya University.

The overall environment is great, and parking is very convenient. The room is clean and tidy, and there's a gas washing machine, so the facilities are complete
Only great thing is that the hotel is near a JR train station. The carpet has a funny smell, it’s good that there’s an air filter in the room
The hotel is very close to Nagoya city center, just one subway stop away. The front desk staff seemed to be Indian or Nepalese, and they were very warm and polite
Location is near the train station. You can hear the train passing by but it's okay. No smoking area. For the price the place is okay.
Despite that, the room was quite spacious, offering great value for money compared to other Japanese hotels in the same price range
However, because it's near Otohobashi Station, there's some train noise at night, which can be a bit loud

The location is a bit of a walk from Kanayama Station, but there's a FamilyMart nearby! I was a little bummed that there wasn't a fridge in the room, but for the price, I figured it was to be expected
The hotel has a great location, making it very convenient for getting around and accessing nearby attractions, shops, and restaurants. The cleanliness of the room could be improved
The only noise I heard was people walking in the hallway, which was great because I couldn't hear any noise from other rooms!
I stayed here during the F1 period and was really happy with how affordable it was
At the end of the day it’s complicated to sleep but for few nights it’s okay especially for the price
The floor didn’t feel properly cleaned, as it felt like there were small particles, when walking barefoot. The soundproofing is quite poor. Noise from outside the room and neighboring rooms can be easily heard

The room was very clean and there was a wide variety of amenities to suit women's tastes, so I was very satisfied. I'd like to use it again next time!
The rooms are clean and small, but have everything you need, Netflix available, delicious food available 24 hours a day, and even paper cups for rinsing and earplugs are provided! If you come by car, there is no parking fee, so it's an all-inclusive hotel that I use several times a month! I often see call girls there
Even if you make a reservation, you will have to wait a little if the place is fully booked, but there is a waiting area provided. The room felt like a regular love hotel
The staff was very helpful. Even though she couldn’t speak English, tried very hard to help us to check in.
It was inconvenient that you had to deposit the full amount of the accommodation fee when you went out
It's a little far from the nearest station, but it's a straight road so you won't get lost

I initially thought I had booked a regular room, but it turned out to be a dormitory-style capsule instead. If you’re traveling light, this place may suit you, but there isn’t much space to store luggage
There’s no locker or safe provided. Amenities are not complimentary, each item, including bottled water, costs 100 yen. Upon checkout, you’re required to remove the bedsheet and pillowcase yourself
Also, note that the showers are only available until 10:30 pm. Personally, I found the place unsuitable for my needs and decided to move to another proper hotel nearby
One more thing to be aware of: the property is located near a temple, and the surrounding area has no streetlights at night
Walking back via that route can feel quite eerie, so it’s safer to stick to the main road along the river
great cafe, great for rental spaces. good location too

My husband brought me here after our wedding, we stayed 4 nights. My butt was destroyed. I definitely recommend.
Air conditioning was only on heater mode, thankfully our balcony door was able to open else it would have been stuffy. Requested for extra pillows and they accommodated. Unable to cast for TV, only 1 english channel
Stayed three nights, nice place! Only downside is that (at least in my room) you couldn't really open the windows' shutters as there were spider webs and various spiders roaming around
Other than that, the bath tub and general room space were bigger than any other Japanese hotel
Has a small fridge and microwave. Location wise, there's really nth much nearby. U'll need to walk 5mins to 7-11 and a little bit more there's a big local supermarket. Walkable to Osu walking street, about 20mins
And the biggest negative was a 8pm check in. You have to pay extra to check in at 6pm. We forgot to check that bit and got there at 3pm which is the usual time for check in and obviously were shocked at the time
