Friendly service and amazing breakfast, however rooms are abit old and dusty.

Great place, beautiful, cozy, like home! Sea views! The reception staff is very polite and friendly, they'll help you with anything! They'll give you advice and even help with transporting your suitcases! 100 out of 100 recommendation! Great breakfasts! It's a shame we missed dinner; be sure to book a reservation with a sea view and breakfast! Book dinner the day before!
You can also book the upper or lower onsen the same day!

It's a bit far! But it's worth it

They explained everything at the reception) booked a private Onsen. We swam in the pool at night ☺️ it's the best thing ever. The bar is open from 8 pm to 10 pm and the bartender Hiroku, who made us cocktails, an excellent gin and tonic for 300 yen - it's just a gift!!! Hiroku, greetings from the girls from Russia and thank you for the vacation!!

The rooms are clean and cozy!
You could leave your things after checking out and go to the beach

BREAKFASTS! I have never had such breakfasts in any hotel in Japan)) omelet, vegetables, fruits, pancakes and unlimited coffee 🙏🥰

The view from the cliff is gorgeous 🥹 the Shirahama hotel is very cute and cozy! I recommend 🥲🙏

Great location, perfect for relaxing and unwinding. The service was excellent; they even proactively offered to drive us to Jishimoda Station upon check-out.

A lovely, cozy hotel with a charming cottage-style interior. It features a private rotenburo, available by reservation. Though situated 4.5 km from the station, there's a regular bus service. The staff are incredibly friendly; when I asked the receptionist to call a taxi to the station, she even offered to drive me there herself in her own car! They also arrange barbecues. The food, however, was just average.

This is the most satisfying hotel during my trip to Japan, although I was a little disappointed that I didn't have dinner because I didn't make a reservation in advance. The view from the room is absolutely beautiful. I would be very happy lying in the room all day, listening to the sound of the waves. However, the room is super soundproof and has two layers of glass. Unless there are people making noise in the corridor, but I didn't encounter this situation, I booked a time to soak in a private hot spring, and I felt very happy. Forty minutes per person is enough. Except for the inconvenient transportation, everything else is good. Thanks to the front desk staff for helping me enthusiastically and taking the initiative to drive me to the station on the way back. Although we don't speak the same language very well, we have been communicating all the time, which is very heartwarming. 🩷 If I have the opportunity to come to Shimoda next time, I think I will still choose this one.

Absolutely wonderful! This place truly feels like a family-run guesthouse. The decor is incredibly cozy and inviting. The hospitality from the grandmother and her family was truly exceptional and warm. When it was raining, the host even enthusiastically drove us to the station.

We used the private outdoor onsens which were stunning. Didnt use the swimming pool but it had good views of the sea. Free beverages the entire time. We could use the billiard table, darts, piano and entertainment area in the common room. The breakfast was amazing and staff were really hospitable, very homey feel. We were upgraded to seaside room with stunning views of the sea. You need to drive to the hotel, the slope is quite steep if you’re not a confident driver. It is a bit difficult to walk around town
