Sky Hotel Uozu in Uozu

I stayed here on November 7th and there was a nuisance guest in the room next door who was intentionally emitting mechanical noises and ultrasonic waves (I checked with a smartphone app) which prevented me from sleeping at all. I asked the front desk to warn them in the morning, but nothing changed until I left. I couldn't concentrate the next day and had trouble driving.
It's really annoying as there's a risk of an accident, and I probably won't be using their services again.

This was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in.

The tall, elderly gentleman at the front desk wasn't very helpful, and the room was dark. 😡

The room lights were so dim I couldn't even see the TV, so I told the front desk.

They brought a desk lamp, but it was still too dark, which made me feel even more depressed.

There were no lights on the ceiling at all, only a desk lamp.

(Good point) There's a department store called Sunplaza next door.

The room was comfortable during the day, had plenty of channels on BS, four times the usual amount of toilet paper, and the shampoo and conditioner left my hair silky smooth 👍

(Points of concern) The room was incredibly dark at night (photo included) 😱, the bathroom was much brighter, there was a smell on the pajamas, pillow, bed and bedding, and mold on the bathroom sealant (this bothered me as someone with experience in room cleaning). There was a coin laundry outside (washing 400 yen, detergent 100 yen 🥶)

I'm looking for a cheap and comfortable hotel, but lately I've been realizing there's a reason why things are cheap.

Even so, this was the darkest room I've ever stayed in. 😳
I wonder why they would rent out such a dark room?

There were a lot of students there at night and they were very noisy with the doors open. Is it okay to have fun shouting inside a hotel? I only stayed overnight, but the special rate didn't seem cheap, so I should have done a bit more research before booking. I felt everything was half-baked. I probably won't use this hotel again.
