This is our second time visiting Naeba, and while the hotel is a bit older, it's incredibly convenient for families with kids. They have everything you need: restaurants, a convenience store, and shops selling ski gear. I know APA hotels aren't that fancy. There was still just a bit of grime in the hotel room. Especially the shower and bathtub in the room. Worth it for the price though. Especially considering it has an onsen too. Sadly I had no time to check out the bath facilities.

The rooms are tiny. Breakfast is the same and never changes. We asked for a thick layer of dust to be removed, but no one has done so in four days.

The morning buffet is great. It's a semi-buffet style where you can choose between Japanese or Western main dishes, but you can also have as much bread and rice as you want, so you can pretty much eat both. The free ramen in the evening was also quite tasty. The waiting lobby also has a luxurious feel.

This was my first time traveling to Kanazawa, so I was a little nervous, but this was a fantastic place to stay. The staff were friendly, and the accommodations seemed clean and well-maintained. The breakfast was great, and the large bath was fantastic. Next time I visit Kanazawa, I'll definitely book at the Manten Hotel again.

At first I really couldn't find the main door. I thought I had to take the stairs to carry my luggage up, but I ended up taking the elevator from the hot spring area to the second floor and walking through the overpass to the main building to check in! The place overall it's quite good, especially with the food and shinkansen package. My biggest complaint are the beds which are terrible, uncomfortable, and really messed up my back.
