Theres only one chair in the lobby, that nobody can sit on, because it's got a strong parfume dispenser right next to it, that goes off every 15 seconds. The people on reception have bad english. There’s no Laundry room, only expensive Laundry service, that doesn’t work on the weekends. The guests above us must have had kids or something, because they were constantly making loud thumping noises.

Located in the business center, the hotel offers excellent service. The rooms, while not large, are well-laid out and have complete toiletries. It's within walking distance of attractions such as Kenrokuen Garden and Kanazawa Castle. There are buses to Kanazawa Station on the left side of the street outside the hotel. This hotel is in an excellent location, with friendly, helpful service and generally good quality rooms. One downside to my stay was the bed, which was very uncomfortable. The hotel's proximity to the old districts, museums and gardens is a big plus.

Despite being a Marriott Bonvoy Platinum member, I was disappointed to find that lounge access and breakfast were both chargeable. I was told that such services are not included with bookings made through Trip.com. Had I known this beforehand, I wouldn't have booked, making this a truly disappointing trip.

We booked a special room (a suite), and it was absolutely fantastic! Perfect for four adults and a baby. The courtyard was beautiful, and it's close to the outlet mall. They even provided P*LA B.A skincare samples in the room!

The room was spacious. The onsen facilities were also excellent, clean, and roomy. There weren't many people, and the outdoor baths were very comfortable. The premium outlet near the hotel was also great for shopping, and the sushi restaurant we found was delicious.

The hotel's location is a bit out of the way, right near a highway exit, but there's a huge outlet mall nearby, and I had a very fruitful shopping trip there 😄. The hotel's cleanliness and service were quite good; it's been open for over 10 years, but it still feels as new as ever. Highly recommend! This is the best hotel in Karuizawa. The hotel has a very understated European style, and it took me quite a while to find the lobby. 😂😂😂 The room is huge; for this price point, it might just be the biggest room in all of Japan. The hotel is famous for its Western cuisine. Dinner and breakfast for three people only cost a little over 5000 RMB. If I ever come back to Karuizawa...

Fantastic resort with western artistic style. Location a bit far but that’s the purpose of a resort! Nice views from the hotel and gorgeous photo taking spots. Onsen also not bad

I stay at this hotel every year. It has a traditional, old-world feel, with a quiet, private atmosphere. The hotel restaurant serves French cuisine, but reservations are required. There are two hot springs, both with their own unique charm.

There maybe BED BUGS, My back was pinched several times during the stay.
